This is too sad, man. If sykunno ever get a chance to really talk about this to someone, be it toast or dr. K, on stream or off stream, i get a feeling that he might just breakdown and cry. The mask is flimsy but he's persistent with it
he's talked about these bully experiences (about him and his sister) already in a stream, he didn't show emotion, but it's hard to find.
I think he's probably over it, since he has good friends and a fanbase now

Edit. To all the replies: I know that sometimes wounds don't heal, that it may be quite hard to forgive people and nearly impossible to forget. But myself I also went through such things as bullying and betrayals. And yes, there're some situations I'm still struggling to get out of my head. But I know how important and helpful it is to have supportive friends around you. And that it is possible to get over things, and live a life remembering what happened to you, but not being hurt by it.

well it's hard for him to get that much attention because not a long ago he's just a guy that uploads in UA-cam with or without friends but lily convince him to start streaming and maybe because of that he got motivated a little because of the support of his friends and his chat that support him every stream and not so long after that he bloom over the twitch and didn't expect that much popularity. Imagine having 100+ viewers every stream to 1000+ to 10000 and now he's known for having 20-30 k viewer every stream so believing in such words is so hard for him because maybe in his mind that because of his popularity they start DMing him so IMO it's his best choice is to Ignore them for now and maybe when the day comes he got motivated to the point that he's open to anyone .. But for now he had friends that are helping him to have fun every day, every stream and I wish him to be happy with his choice in life..

You know, I used to not be able to understand how a dude like Sykkuno is unable to find a relationship, but you hear him talk about his past sometimes and you really do get the sense that he was RELENTLESSLY bullied.
And, that makes me both mad and happy for him. On one hand, he needs to understand it's okay to get angry sometimes. On the other though, let's be honest. We've seen those dudes on Reddit. Sykkuno could have turned out a LOT worse than he did with a history like that.
Well. Arguable in some ways. You could say he turned out just as bad just inns different direction on the spectrum... On one end he could have become a huge asshole, but on the other hand he became too passive, let's people push him around, tolerates behavior that shouldn't be tolerate, and now has the sociability of a wooden door ... And that is arguably just as bad, just in a different direction on the spectrum.

Damn this brought back some memories. I experienced something similar. It absolutely affected how I view the world. I can absolutely empathize with him and hope that he is able to push through it. Things get better eventually. It just takes a while.

I’m sure he fills anger, but he’s smart with how he deals with it. He doesn’t show it to us or his friends nor does he let it control him. He deals with it in a calculated way that shows empathy for the other person that is being mean, in such a way that only the best of humans can do. Look at his streams and when he encounters arguements, he is always able to defuse the situation or walk away. I think Sykkuno to be a great human being, one that I’m very proud to call a fellow human. Just because he doesn’t show anger, doesn’t mean he doesn’t feel it nor address it.
Although I do admit, his ability to not show any accountability for the other side is a bit worrying. I wish he would show some apathy into the mix.

It's sad, I've never seen someone be so naively nice before, always tryna find the "bright side" in where there is none yet also avoiding/denying all possibilities that can help raise his confidence. It's so much so to the point where I'm slightly skeptical if he's even being entirely honest. I would say it's logical to assume that those who grow "stronger" are more likely to succeed due to that mental fortification and thicker skin. Empirical data is likely unavailable for that type of assessment but it makes sense.
However, you do not know for sure whether the bullying butterfly effected these names to become great people. They may have very well been just as successful without bullies which is likely, but not guaranteed.
I will say, though, if you're so weak minded that you commit suicide or externalize your trauma onto others from being bullied then you're a waste of resources, you're pathetic. Weed out the weak. It's unfortunate, but I don't want weak minded individuals flooding the streets. We literally have too much of them nowadays.

Also bullying doesn't provocate a permanent change all the times, the 'growth' is usually how the victim tries to adapt after the heavy judgement they received, which most of the times is not even a good thing as bullies themself are almost always very problematic people and just want someone to attack in order to slide away their frustration.

Yeah, that happens. I'm a grown ass woman and whenever someone compliments me, my first thought is along the lines of "they're not being serious/they're just making fun of me/they're just saying this out of pity" because of all the times at elementary and high school that I've been called ugly.

being bullied by girls in school when ur a guy sucks. i struggled with the same exact thing as sykkuno until last year, when i had to repeat the year cuz i got depressed and failed all my exams. but then things took a real u turn ever since covid. time alone helps the most, along with realiing the fact that most people are ok with alot of things that arent ok. people like sykkkuno and i who dont curse or dont like saying certai things feel as though we have to have a different persona when with everyone else. so thats why it causes awkwardness. plus the trauma. he is fighting with the following concept: that he is wrong and everyone else is right. but he knows on the inside its the opposite. which is why hes stuck being so mixed up and awkward
