I am very grateful to be able to be home with her. I have recently been thinking about how many women have to go back to work and start daycare at 3 months and I cannot fathom the idea of sending my baby to daycare in 1 month from now, that would break my heart!!
Enjoy every minute as you learn to to be the best version of yourself as a mom. Don’t be hard on yourself if things don’t get done. Relax and enjoy the newness of motherhood. They are only tiny for such a short period❣️🥰
Great video, reminds me of myself, a couple of months ago (she's 4 months and a half now). Tip, if I may: use a baby night light (it's usually a cute dog or bear that lights up) for night feedings, it might help her sleep more 🤗
Absolutely, even though there are hard moments or hard days I am truly soaking in every moment, I am loving being a mom, especially to my sweet baby and I know I will miss these days (I already do!)
Hi Jess 🙂 Really interesting to see a day in your life as a SAHM. In the UK, the government discourages staying at home when the baby reaches six months old, but the research encourages one parent to stay at home. How is Chris coping with his new Dad role?
I just read bringing up Bebe which is a book on French parenting compared to the US, it’s really interesting to consider how other countries raise their babies. The quality of daycare (and accessibility) in other countries is so much better than the US, it’s quite sad really. Parents here in the US don’t like to send their kids unless they have to because it’s known to be a place where kids get sick often and easily, the caregivers don’t need much accreditation or training, and it’s expensive. But there’s still benefits to it, I haven’t really decided what we will do as she gets a bit older. I think Chris is really loving dad life! It’s a lot of work but so rewarding!
I was home with Hadley for 6 months and was so glad I had that time. Yes, some of the days were rough, but overall it was a great experience.

Those F45 workouts are no joke! Def good for a fast workout when we’re limited on time
I agree and I personally feel like they’re really helping me get back into shape post-partum!
Those first few months are really tough. My kids are in their 20s now though and I wish I could do it all again. Hang in there ❤
