I try not to get too excited for books or anything really because if it doesn't reach those expectations than I can be disappointed. Also you got to tell that Liam guy to relax with the reading pace
Yeah, this book seems to have people split down the middle. Ursula K. Le Guin especially seemed to despise it, and torched it, though I haven't read her critique of the novel. But I also saw that Neil Gaiman was complimentary of it, so maybe it's not all bad? I don't know lol. Good review T.
“I don’t hate that ending” 😆 You’re reminding me about the book, nice thoughts! I too wish this one was less disappointing.
Don’t know that I should say it, but I can’t help thinking “Beatrice deserved it”. 😅
Thanks for watching, and for telling me to read it.
This book sounds interesting. I think I would have the same frustrations as you do. I may check it out. Thanks T!
You might like this one. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts.
Thanks for watching!

Generally that’s my approach as well. Doesn’t always work out though.
He really does need to slow down.
Thanks for watching!

Interesting, I’d like to read what Le Guin had to say about it.
Thanks for watching!
I had high expectations for this book and was disappointed too. Try The 1st Voyage of Sinbad: The Waters of Zemzem for a totally opposite experience.
