yeah, it’s good if your a warlock, pop heat rises when you consume grenade and just hang off the ledge a lil bit, galrahn will swipe at you and it’ll count as an encounter kill (just make sure you make it back onto the floor so you don’t die too). It’s better with 2 or 3 people on Master, you can make sure the nightmare timer stays on and you also want an eagers edge sword to make things easier. The chest drops artifice armor incase you want a new high stat build and it drops enhancement prisms along with ascendant shards if your lucky enough.

I had 10 ascendent shards on me + 5 in my vault before I did the duality 🧀. “I did” fully master work a full set of armor (60 to 65 stats) just cause I had the materials for testing purposes but it turns out just a few of my normal Good armor pieces have me @ better stats. If someone went in just for a class item to get a free artifice slot and got it quickly it’s well worth it, (then just infuse it with your high class item n’ transmog back). So… all in all. For some materials it’s not a time waster by any means. The ghost modifier for armor is broken, it may add 10 but not to the stat you chose.
a note on legend lost sectors, it's not that most of them drop prisms, every one of them does. They changed LLS to drop 2 cores and 1 prism with a chance at 3 cores and 2 prisms
Plus it's patrol heaven. I keep dipping out to grab kill or scavenge patrols, and if you get lucky with ones that match the current wave, you can easily clear one or two per wave. Unfortunately because of this my post box won't stop yelling at me about the stack of overload terminal keys sitting in it that i can't pull out since I'm perpetually full on the things as a result.
Yeah, I've noticed Vorpal Weapon proccing on ads/red-bars this season, it's very strange. As far as I'm aware, bosses were supposed to typically be yellow-bars.
Its crazy that alot of the farms in this video are just "play the game." Which i mean like yeah but I feel like its a real bloated way of telling people lmao
I like dattos idea for matterweaves considering how annoying they are to actually use. I would 100% trade in 3-5 matterweaves for an instant core. no one wants to sit there going through hundreds one by one.
If you lfg dares of eternity you can get up to 3 ascendant shards if you get a very high score. Recommend lots of ghorn and legendary rpg spam once you have starhorse
For everyone saying the Gal. farm is patched, they just made it so you have to take the long way there each time, which amounts to little if you run Strand (you could also use Salvations grip to climb up the first room if you lack strand, or use it WITH strand to climb up even easier.) Doubly so if you master the art of projectile grappling. Just don’t forget to pack grenade jumpstart and bomber to get those ‘nade’s up faster (Hunter Sixth Coyote + Triple bomber and grenade jumpstart shaves off most of the recharge.)
I would have to see a method to farm legendary fragments without having to break weapons or armor since it is what is needed to be able to upload the pieces
You just play the game and they stockpile. Started playing month ago with my friend and I'm a bit low on shards as well, but I just do activities and dismantle guns and armor
We tried rocketing with grapple for 30 min yesterday and couldn’t do it. We tried gally, high impact frames and other archetypes rocket launchers and no success. @ this time on 3/18. Did they patch the rocket/grapple?
yeah but if you get a ball which drops from killing enemies with strand melee then you can throw that up into the sky and grapple onto it and get up to the skip
As a new player, this is good to know! I am no where near able to do the raids or higher end stuff like trials and legendary/master stuff, so knowing about the matterweave+moon trick is really nice, since I find myself running out of those when I want to try to mw something that works for me. A+ video!
Just a heads up I did 100 Aphelion Rest runs yesterday and ended up with 29 exotic engrams. It felt pretty consistent at a 1 exotic per 3 runs but had a pretty nasty streak of not getting one so I personally think they just gave legend lost sector the masters old percentage of 33% per run now. Will need to do 100 master runs now to find out if it went up to 45-50% per run which if so might finally justify running it. Either way you'll get hundreds of enhancement cores/prisms during a really good day getting sub 2 min runs so highly recommend it as an extremely easy source on easy LS days
I've now run seven legend lost sectors (I don't play for long hours straight) and have received three exotics. 6 hours and getting one single exotic, as commented above, is an extreme outlier in the RNG. I would contact your local church and request an exorcism, because you are most certainly possessed by a demon of truly horrible luck lmao

I don't know about anyone else. But, as of late. Nightfalls have been using Matchmaking and making it impossible to even attempt to run them solo. Which is odd. As Nightfalls do not even state that there is any such Matchmaking going on. Yet, they do it. -.- I wish Bungie just give a solo option to run just the Strikes on their own without going through the Vanguard. BUuuuuut Bungie is not about allowing their player base to have fun or have an easy time. Before long. These kinds of farms will be a pain to do. Even further, impossible to upgrade any equipment and will demand you to open your wallet to upgrade. Trust me, it will happen. And I know that Bungie got out from under Activision. But, in recent news of this comment. Activision is trying to make "Pay-to-Win" in cosmetics normal. As in their CoD game, having cosmetic pieces with buffs and bonuses. It won't be long other games will do the same or take it a step further. Like these Masterwork Materials and you needing to open your wallet to be more powerful. In other words, "Pay-to-Win".

Yeah we need something like how Nightmare Containment used to drop them every 3-5 runs. I used to have so many Alloys I HAD to spend them or risk losing them lmao
farm nightfall's when it is 2x loot and you can max out your prisms quite easily, but remember to switch character when your postmasters full or down grade them to cores so you aren't wasting runs.
To be fair when you don't have much of a life and play this game for years maxing out all of your items isn't very hard. Now, for people who don't have much time to play daily this isn't as easy.
As said from the last commenter, Dares is for sure best. You can also use the keys you get in there to get weapons to break down for shards. This is of course assuming you already have the patterns. There is also another way you can get shards but only if you're willing to farm public events for glimmer. Step by step, you do the following: 1.) Go into your collections, under flair, and pull out any blue rarity ship transmat effect as much as you can. Do this until you are either out of glimmer or at an amount you are comfortable with 2.) Go to Rahool (it used to be Amanda, but as far as I know he has all of her vendor functionality now) and trade three blue transmat effects for one purple one as many times as you can. 3.) Break down the purple transmats for a single legendary shard each. This IS very slow, but if you're someone who often hits the glimmer cap, you can take advantage of that and pull out 30-60 here and there and then have a stash ready to be traded whenever you want. I once pulled just south of 200 shards from this method with about 2 weeks of normal play with about 3-5 hours of random activities each time I played. It essentially cost me nothing but time and glimmer that I wasn't using on anything else. Some things to note about this method I should mention though. First, Rahool has been buggy with a lot of the stuff he has taken over for with Amanda being gone. I would recommend trying three blues to see if it still works properly before committing. And second, there is A LOT of other stuff that costs glimmer right now with the new content. Unless you've blasted through all your crafting, weapon focusing, have no exotics left to get out of the archive, etc., I would NOT consider doing this now. More of a whole ordeal to consider if you're either really desperate or really rich on glimmer/time. Well that was the longest youtube comment I've ever made, but maybe someone will find this useful. And if anyone tries this and Rahool refuses to continue these services, PLEASE LET ME KNOW lol

Personally I’ve been using a strand build on warlock with suspend grenades and an mg that has worked well since 1793

They limit the light level anyways I think they limit you to 1810 or something like that for legend lost sectors.

It works best with a rocket with low velocity, and the window is kind of tight. It works easiest pointing straight up, too, for the record.
As a new player, this is good to know! maybe your rocket is too fast
You can do this with the Winterbite projectile aswell, you need to hold S and D or A at the same time while grappling to not catch up to it.
