Weapons in each slot missed but worth looking at:
Hand Canon: Posterity with voltshot in the third column and either rampage or frenzy in the fourth, it's a fantastic 180
Pulse Rifle: BxR -55 Battler with demo and incandescent and a great origin perk making hip firing a breeze / Smite of Merain with Demo and either Adrenalin junkie or FireFly / Chattering bone with killclip and Kinetic Tremors lead to being an add killing machine
SMG: Submission with either overflow or subsistence paired off nicely with Frenzy will perform extremely well
Fusion rifles: Royal Executioner which gets the same roll and does it very well / Iterative loop with compulsive loader and voltshot is a workhorse / as for the Eremite, instead of running envious, reservoir burst, run envious, controlled burst for a super good feeling high impact frame that does a ton of damage
Grenade Launcher: Explosive personality with auto-loading frenzy, lets you either pull it out for quick bursts of damage or stay on it and use it like a main weapon letting it be usable in all kinds of play
Shotguns: Heritage, one of the best primary slug shotguns, reconstruction and recombination lead to a very powerful slug that has been used plenty since its release.
Trace Rifles: Acasia's Dejection with Reconstruction incandescent / Path of Least resistance with Stats for all and voltshot
Heavy GL's: Regnant, with auto-loading explosive light, can be used especially on void classes, doing damage rotations that are for sure worth looking at
Swords: Throne-Cleaver for titans can do a pretty absurd amount of damage with triple heavy slams / The Other Half for enhanced eager edge
I'm a little disappointed in how large this list ended up being, as these are all great options worth looking into.
I also have to add a Few
Deliverance is the only craftable fusion rifle that can get Chill clip; and while chill clp did get nerfed it is still an amazing option.
Techion force great for a Secondary DPS option with the roll reconstruction and controlled burst allowing 12 rounds to be fired without reloading
Age old bond is perfect for void builds due to the combination of Destabilizing rounds and repulser brace

mulligan + vorpal is cfazy
with rufus or any auto rifle you want rewind rounds instead of reconstruction. reconstruction wont be active a lot on primary weapons cause you will be using it the most out of you 3 weapons and only works for one mag, its better for special and heavy weapons. rewind rounds is better for primary weapons especially with target lock, they synergize well together, with both requiring constant hits on your target, rewind rounds gives you 50-60% of your ammo back at the end of each mag, say your mag is full at 40 rounds, it goes from 40 20 10 5 2 1 every time it activates totaling at 78 rounds without having to manually reload. yes reconstruction would give you 80 rounds but once that mag is empty you have to wait 72 seconds to get up to an 80 round mag, vs rewind rounds you just have to land your shots to consistently get the 78 rounds and it ready every time you reload.
I agree but only for legend/master content anything lower, like normal raiding, subsistence is better.

@cavemanfromthefuture I know subsistence is a fun perk cause who doesn't want to not reload, but I prefer perks the increase reload speed rather than a perk that won't do much in endgame pve which is what I do mostly.
With reconstruction you can have +120 rounds in the mag
now I know I'm a few days late but im gonna list some guns you missed:
submission: overflow/frenzy or sub/demo
Tyranny of Heaven: Archer's tempo/incan is amazing
Under your skin: archer's tempo/successful warmup gives you hush levels of draw time
Posterity: voltshot/rampage works well together and can be a real monster
modifying the word of crota roll i wouldnt reccomend dragonfly since the origin trait does that for you and instead subsistence or demo for infinite mag or class synergy respectively
BxR: demo incan is just insane for any solar build
Smite of Merain: I dont personally use primary pulses but this one can get demo/aj which I really like
Trustee: Recon or rapid hit/incan is a monster if you want a solar scout
Techeun: Reconstruction/controlled burst is insane for boss damage, however the low reserves hurts it a lot
Royal Executioner: Use this one for envious/reservoir burst and give eremite controlled burst instead
I'm an avid glaive hater so im skipping that category
Pardon our dust: Personally i would swap vorpal out for demo for more build synergy
Heritage: I really dont understand why this wasnt mentioned but the role is reconstruction/recombination
Nessa's Obligation: Reconstruction/vorpal for double slugging
Ikelos shotgun: I only use it for threat detector/cascade point since it basically turns it into legendary 4th horseman
Until its return: better ikelos shotgun with overflow or auto loading/cascade point
Any one of the trace rifles are worth crafting besides retraced path (because acasia's is just better)
Acasia's: reconstruction or rewind rounds/incan
Path: stats for all or shoot to loot/voltshot
Hollow denial: lead from gold and repulsor brace for more survivability and class synergy
Regnant: its better wendigo with enhanced perks (i dont use it bc i wanna cope with my perfect wendigo)
get taipan off the list since it isnt worth using at all
Briar's: reconstruction or rewind rounds/surrounded this gun does so much damage and im kinda shocked you didnt acknowledge it in the vid. if you arent using cataclysmic, this is what you would be using for a linear.
The other half/half truths: i think this goes without saying but if you dont have either of these swords with eager edge yet you are missing out on a wide variety of fun go fast gameplay

As the resident bow user, under your skin and raconteur will always be better than tripwire in any slightly difficult content. The damage profile of the precision frame is so much better than lightweights

Even for a pve video youre missing a lot. I think that because you're trying to say that these are the ONLY ones worth crafting youre pidgeonholing yourself into only having a few options.
For the eremite, controlled burst-envious shouldve been mentioned. Iterative loop is also good because of voltshot, and Royal Executioner can also use the envious-reservoir combo
For grenade launchers, Regnant can use envious explosive which can be more useful than wendigo.
For trace rifles youre forgetting that acasias and path of least resistance are really strong because of their elemental debuffs. Some of your weapons also have better perk combos but i suppose the video is still a good guide for newer players

if your gun has a lower mag size (11 or less) target lock procs with one bullet for the full 45% damage bonus. match it with triple tap or fourths time and you won't lose any ammo at all
As someone who has played since the beginning, but only alone, and has enjoyed puzzlecontent, story and secrets, and hasn't begun theorycrafting and looking at weaponperks until recently: I THANK you for going very explanatory into why certain guns are good. The combination of perks is eyeopening and it's not always obvious when you look at them yourself. Thank you! Looking to up my weapon-game, but never knew which end to begin! Guess I need a consistent group to start farming raids 😅
I believe this is a PvE only list, so I'll temper my personal recommendations:
- Fel Taradiddle is a bow I will always pick when Overload Bow comes around, with two main rolls: Archer's Tempo/Explosive Head (Also good in PvP!), and Shoot to Loot/Explosive Head. The reason that I mention Overload Bow here, is Fel Taradiddle's Origin Trait: Psychohack. As both of my rolls have Explosive Head, it only takes two shots to activate Psychohack, which stacks with Overload Bow, to make afflicted enemies deal, if I remember correctly, around 35% less damage to all players.
- There's another roll I like on Tripwire. Dragonfly/Successful Warm-Up. Whilst it's true that Ambush or Veist Stinger can drop the draw time themselves, a bow not having a draw time decreasing perk is a bow I will very rarely use (Taradiddle is a special case, obviously). Successful Warm-Up actually decreases draw time more than Archer's Tempo, which is fun. Pair it with Ambush for extra damage to get your Dragonflies started, or Veist Stinger for more origin trait uptime - either way, you're looking at a draw time reduction of around 47% when you have both Warm-Up and the trait active, and explosions galore.
- Raconteur gets Headstone with Wellspring, Archer's Tempo, or Shoot to Loot. Maybe worth a whirl if you like stasis a lot, and don't feel like using Verglas Curve? It does have Archer's Tempo, which (along with availability and damage), could be worth it over a well-rolled Lunulata-4B.
- Under Your Skin is the easiest to obtain, non-sunset Legendary Void Bow (The other being Imperial Needle, which comes around in Banshee-44's Featured weapons list rather frequently, or from Dares of Eternity on Rotation 2). It's decent in PvE, I suppose? It's rather a standard energy bow, slightly bumped up by Volatile Rounds existing, as it has Dragonfly. Not my favourite, really.
- Tyranny of Heaven has some wild perk combinations! Dragonfly + Incandescent is arguably worth giving up a draw time perk for, but it can also pair Archer's Tempo or Successful Warm-Up with Incandescent instead! Other mildly notable perks are: Wellspring and Explosive Head in column 3, and Golden Tricorn in column 4.
When it comes to the other perks, I recommend that you:
- Use Polymer String with either Compact Arrow Shaft *or* Fibreglass Arrow Shaft + Draw Time Masterwork for the Lightweights. Tyranny of Heaven doesn't get Fibreglass, probably due to its unusually high base Accuracy stat(even though Whistler's whim has higher base Accuracy and STILL gets it...), so go with Compact every time.
- Use Elastic String + Reload Speed *or* Draw Time Masterwork, and Compact Arrow Shaft for Precisions - they kind of need all the reload help they can get, and with Accuracy that high, you don't need to worry about dropping it whatsoever.
Only hollow denial for traces??? Bruh, path of Least Resistance???

Heavy gls regnant with auto loading and explosive light is a quite nice void gl. Used that actually very often
Since a few people have already pointed out several weapons that deserve mention, I'm just gonna point out that as far as glaives are concerned, there _are_ reasons to pick certain ones. Honestly, if you can, go for Nezarec's Whisper. It rolls with Demo, and makes for a fantastic choice when unstop glaive rolls around. Has Adaptive Munitions too, making it a genuine workhorse for when you want grenade uptime, utility, and survivability. Glaives work decently in high-end content when the mod's there for it.
Aside from that, Song of Ir Yut really should be on the list, considering the number of cracked perks it can roll with. Rewind/Reconstruction in 3rd, your choice of Target Lock/Sword Logic/Cascade Point/Bait and Switch in fourth. . . It's possibly the best LMG out right now, definitely as far as Adaptives are concerned. Explosive Personality is worth getting, partially because of the unique roll Genesis/Disruption break which works pretty damn well in PvP and is a niche but useable roll in PvE since it gives the benefits of perks like Ambitious Assassin but without needing to reload.
Hell, Drang (Baroque) is worth crafting too. Fantastic in PvP, decent rolls for PvE, and could be paired with Sturm since the HC buff applied to that beefy 120. Sure, Sturm can't combine with Lucky Pants but those overcharged shots are probably being slept on in the current sandbox. Definitely worth looking into.
All in all, I'd say experiment with rolls _you_ think matter, on weapons you think may work. Limiting yourself just means missing out on gear that may be far better than you might've expected. List's fine, but is definitely missing some great choices imo.
Nation of Beasts with Dragonfly and Voltshot feels like a primary ammo Salvager's Salvo. For most content it's overkill for sure, but what I love about it is that it makes Voltshot way more viable in endgame content, where it usually tends to leave enemies oneshot. With this combo they will most likely die, and if not, you can follow up with another dragonfly explosion on any of the nearby weak enemies. I recommed just maxing out reload speed to spam voltshot, this isn't pvp, you really don't need max range.

For special ammo GLs Ive been using harsh language instead of pardon our dust bc quick silver storm and osteo striga are like my most used weapons atm
acasia's dejection can hold almost 600 rounds total without reserve mods with enhanced field prep. it pairs nicely with incandescent for a general use trace rifle.

Submission w enhances subsistence and frenzy is one of the nicest smg Ive ever used. It is a guilty pleasure.

Another weapon worth checking out is the Prodigal Return. Disorienting grenades combined with Envious Assassin and Voltshot is a true workhorse. Ad clear, crowd control, and high burst DPS all in one grenade launcher.

U missed a lot of good weapons there. Like for fusions for example eremite isn’t the only fusion worth crafting at all. The neomuna one is great. Aswell as the last wish one. Also recommending wasterlander over slugs is kind of a weird choice. Same goes for traces, heavy gls…
You can get the Caretaker sword, exact same perks as Bequest with I'm pretty sure only 4 less impact.
The other benefit that makes me like taipan over cataclysmic is veist stinger making the weapon randomly auto reload just for dealing dmg
For scouts I think trustee from deep stone deserves a mention it’s quite good gets good rolls and can run incandescent for solar Synergy

I really like fire and forget. I use chill clip and it handles champions and bosses pretty well. I use Veist for chance to reload on hit and tomb stone just because I use ice crystals builds and I like it . 😅
Tbh I’m partial to Tyranny of Heaven (bow) with dragonfly incandescent since precision shots just delete rooms of ads in one shot lol (especially this season since it’s solar but this vid was made before then so fair enough)
I have been loving Posterity with Voltshot and Frenzy.
Plays well into my Renewals Build. On damage I get nade energy back and the thing hits pretty good.

Tyranny of Heaven has the ability to be crafted with both Dragonfly and Incandescent for PvE becoming the explosion king of bows. For PvP on it, it's best with Archer's Tempo + Swashbuckler/Snapshot
regnant is probably the best VOID heavy gl if you care about surge matching or if you dont have the cataphract or wendigo
Royal executioner gets the same perks as eremite but with faster charge time but less damage, I used it while grinding for eremite
Also. Definitely craft nezeracs whisper, you can put genesis and adaptive munitions on it, great for a all around shield breaker
Recurrent is insane for ad clear, enhanced subsistence refills on a kill faster then you use the ammo (without actium btw) and frenzy
So many perks and combos are overlooked because it's not meta, subsistence is insane on a shotgun, you literally don't have to reload, don't go with meta workout trying other options or at least do some thinking about what the perks will do for your build. You'll miss out on a lot of fun crazy builds because of it. I never see anyone use what I use and I die so rarely it's insane

For the Ikelos SMG, I think Feeding Frenzy is a bait perk worth avoiding as it doesn't proc on voltshot kills. In my opinion because you're using a close range weapon, threat detector will be more useful.
This is just me, but I do recommend people give it a try, I prefer Surrounded on my Calus Mini Tool. The way Bungie is designing missions now, it’s really easy to proc, and that’s a free what 40% damage on the base version of it? That’s just for being around enemies, so you get 40% more damage for free. That’s nasty imo.
Also, regarding fusions, on Eremite Controlled Burst is also strong af, Midas Reckoning is also really good in the situations you can get surrounded going for damage, Iterative Loop is good as well.
Also, can we stop playing Glaives? They are really good with all the utility they provide. Extra DR, and with Unstoppable force you can soak damage and dish it back at your enemies. Or with Close to melee you can cut everything down (especially with Bungie walking back some of that nerf to Glaives and Synthoceps). Glaives can do a lot for you in end game.
How did you forget the Royal Executoner fusion rifle? It can also roll Envious assassin Reservoir burst, but it’s an adaptive frame instead of a high impact frame.

Nezarec whisper is the best crafted Glaive. Melee and projectile kills while surrounded heal you.
Honestly, Edge of Concurrence is one of the Glaives I really like. Sure it’s unconventional and only for hunters, but it’s not let me down. Then again, I don’t really do raids and such so there is that.
I feel like you went heavy on raid weapons at the expense of some non-raid weapons for solo players, for example, Palmyra-B for those of us who don't have a raid team is a fantastic rocket that you unlock just by doing the campaign, gives auto-loading holster and explosive light, and is otherwise just an excellent resource for new players looking for a solid DPS rocket before they get into their first raids to get to the better ones.
if i got an apex predator to drop with the god roll (impact casing, reconstruction, bait and switch), should i still craft it with enhanced perks?

idk why people only use ammit, I crafted a firefright and it hits way harder (mulligan + killing tally is goated)

I know I know this would make the video longer but I sure would have appreciate if he include where to craft or get the pattern lol just a solo destiny player here so game gets boring season to season so I play some of them 😅
I don't understand why reconstruction/recombination heritage isn't mentioned, or lead from gold/enhanced kinetic tremors supremacy. There's also the shoot to loot scout rifles with explosive payload, shoot to loot, and as much handling as you can fit for speedrunning content and specific encounters. Also, hollow denial sucks, why would you tell people to use this? Retraced path with incandescent and adaptive munitions is just the best.
Also, it's important to note that pretty much all guns should have handling+reload as priority stats, as well as mag size. You want the most uptime with your guns.
I make all crafted weapons useful by only using crafted weapons. It saves vault space, makes every red border worth it, and I don't have to worry about dismantling some random god roll I have no idea existed.
Im about to start doing that, If I need an arc bow or solar hand cannon, I just revert back to my crafted weapons.

I like to at least unlock every craftable weapon. I am missing a few raid items like bequest but every seasonal weapon I make sure to unlock.
You forgot Austringer and Kept Confidnce for being absolutely top tier hand cannon options for pvp
Most of the good stuffs are raid exclusive and amount of grind even if a solo player like me findings somewhat good lfg is worse as we have to do the raid multiple times to get a single weapon. Then to find red border.
You only missed like... only a few: Nation of Beasts, Age Old Bond, Tyranny of Heaven, No Reprieve, Fixed Odds, Royal Executioner, Heritage, Deliverance, Iterative Loop, Techeun Force, Raconteur, Regnant, Briar's Contempt, Nessa's Oblation, BxR, Acasia's Dejection, Path of Least Resistance, Death's Razor and Throne Cleaver. Not too many.
Wastelander is... It's okay. Literally any one-two punch shotgun works, which includes the Ikelos SG and the Ragnhild (which has ALH).

I wouldn't call this "the ONLY weapons worth crafting", as there are a lot of great weapons that were missed out, and a majority of weapon classes (namely the Fusion and Pulse Rifles) only had the newer weapons called out instead of nice picks like Disparity and BxR (pulses) or Midha's, Techeun and Iterative Loop (fusions).
However, this videos does give newer and returning players the more recommended options to go for since the weapons chosen can be accessible more so than others. I still would give this a thumbs-up for people who also just want to have an excuse to get specific weapons.
Austinger is the only craftable hand cannon I want
idk about other weapons cause im a hc crucible main but we just gonna skip over kept confidence, round robin, austringer, and nation of beasts.
Honorable mention for hand cannons: Round Robin. Subsistence and hatchling is very good for any activity that you can one or two crit red bars
180 hand cannons are my favorite
Nice list, but it would be more helpful if you did not say Oversoul Edict was the only pulse rifle worth crafting when one has to grind raid content to get the print for it. Just saying you should have mentioned a few others that do not require raiding to get like you did with auto rifles.
Unfortunately, all the good craftable pulse rifles ARE raid pulse rifles. All of them.

@@dontme6996 the bxr and neomuna pulse rifles are some of the best pulse rifles in the game and he basically just skipped over them, eremite isnt even the best craftable pulse rifle, and saying that wasteelander is the only shothgun worth crafting while hertiage exists is a joke

i have many problems with this video. First of all u didnt mention some of the best weapons like path of least resistance with voltshot and shoot to loot but u also missed some perk combinations on weapons u mentioned like controlled envious eremite. U missed the best swapping sniper with ikelos and supremacy is one of the best snipers but not because it can shot for so long but because its a great option to switch in on a dmg rotation and for that u use kinteic tremorse not fourth times. On shotguns u also missed some stuff like heritage for bursting majors or without remorse for lightweight swapping which is one of the best dmg options with tractor. A huge mistake are also that u did not include briars with surrounded and reconstruction which is the best linear for stuff like ghost of the deep and ir yut. I also want to mention the heavy gl from root which is koraxis cus it can role envoious surrounded which is in some scenarios even better than apex for example is this the only weapon with which u can 2 man one pahse sanctified. Overall i think this list could need some changes for people who are new to the game.

Nice just about all of them are raid weapons which I don’t have access to because I’m a solo player.
All of them are great but most of them after 6 years of playing I just won't be able to get don't do Raids "nope no way" not for me solo player.
I mean I'll try it sometimes but the Vault of Glass, Heresy & duality😢🤬🤢.
And you with that being said if I could do the GM solo, I'd be able to get the higher-tier armor. Then might allow me some of the rage solo, or feel confident enough and having fun playing the a team😅 but it hasn't happened in six years so😊
Why do people think that recon is better than rewind on primary weapons? Makes no sense imo
Title a bit deceiving, all the weapons listed are all good but they are definitely not the ONLY weapons worth crafting. Under Your Skin, Ikelos shotgun, techeun force, transfiguration, and tyranny of heaven all good guns with great perk combos id recommend
