Addendum for the heroic patrols: you can reload the Terminal Overload activity from the map to load into a new instance, which refreshes/changes the patrols available. If you want to farm the red borders for the Neomuna weapons (which heroic patrols have a higher chance of dropping), just load into a TO activity, check the patrols and if there aren't any heroics, just open your map and reload the TO activity. Rinse and repeat ad nauseum. So far, I need 3-4 reloads before getting an heroic patrol on average.
I am almost positive bungie stealth nerfed heroic patrols. Haven't gotten a red border in almost 30 patrols. Before last patch I'd get one like every 4 or 5. At worst. I am regretting not farming them sooner now.
you dont even need to be on the same flawless card to get the loot i turned in my card on saturday and got 7 wins on a new card (flawed) and still got loot drops on sunday/monday
My favorite farm for weapon leveling: Go to the moon campaign mission called “In the Deep” (it’s only active on a weekly rotation) at the very end when you have to run away, stop at the bridge under the tomb ship and turn around. Endless thrall will come at you and you can get as many kills as you need. If thrall aren’t coming, you might need to wipe and try again. Works better than shura chi and it’s how I got all my exotic catalysts
Ammo can be a little tight on special or heavy weapons, but if you bring a primary you needed to level up or grind the catalyst for anyway and equip the appropriate ammo armor mods, it’s brain dead. This is also how I got a lot of my catalysis and leveled weapons.
You can also use Breakneck mission from Lightfall. The moment you break glass door and put a flag. There is alot of vex goblins that spawn and also you can refill your mags from rally flag.
As a tip for solo players, for the VOW secret chest farm, kill the first set of abominations to stop the darkeness debuff but don’t deposit all the 9 knowledge things. This way you can sparrow through and do the first secret chest without dying or more ads, in Fallout’s video he didn’t do this but it makes a huge difference!
Literally all you need to kill is Savathun to open the door. Ignore the darkness debuff and sparrow past the first add group while they're spawning; you can get the chest in under 30 seconds and the time you spend rezzing is _far_ less than the time it takes to kill enemies (and potentially dying to adds anyway).
For fast glimmer you can go to the EDZ and complete heroic public events. The EDZ has so many areas that can have a public event that chances are there will be at least one active one at any given time and all have a convenient landing zone nearby to teleport once you finish one, there's so many of them that you can complete like four in a row, each one granting over 12k glimmer per completion. Best part is that there's a decent amount of experienced players doing this method all the time, so odds are you will find guardians that know what to do at the events rather than the usual blueberries messing up the heroic. I like this method because I'm kinda broke in shard so I don't want to pay Rahool lol.
@@lakeshow3453 really? i was going to say i remember farming the EDZ for heroic events when D2 came out for exotic quests and all that fun shi😭 that’s nice asl to know tho i haven’t played since forsaken just started back up so that’s gonna be useful
For legendary shards I recommend every player just go in their vault and delete a bunch of things lol. Most players have 400+ things in the vault we never use and sometimes 5 of the same gun with different perks never used. Keep what u deem as collectable worthy or genuinely useful, get rid of the junk. I did this last week and gained 1k shards just by simply cleaning my vault for the first time. (You will also get shards back)
Bonus tips for everyone cleaning out their vault: Light gg > God roll tab > Roll appraiser. This will help you easily see the ratings for all your guns provided the guns have enough player data from light gg
For enhancement prisms, I would recommend wearing the iron banner armor with the origin trait when IB is up. It rewards enhancement prisms fairly frequently if you wear 4 pieces, and you basically just have to show up and play.
For spoils, there a fairly easy OOB you can do to get out of bounds in VoG, then get to the first secret chest. That chest seems to always give spoils even when VoG isn’t the raid in weekly rotation.
@@joshuajulian4665 a few things to let you know. 1 you can farm any of the encounters in Ron for spoils best are nez and first encounter and 2 anarchy isn't that great. I bought it awhile back and it's ok
Secret VoG strat is going from start to templar, then backtracking to first 2 chests from 3 characters, then doing the gorgon chest from 3 characters and gatekeeper chest. Oracles are easily soloable if you know their audial cues and templar is usually no problem if you do wipe strat. 60 spoils for a moderate effort, usually takes about 40 minutes. You do need a friend to do swapping though.
For those who don’t have cores but have prisms, you can grab blue gear from collections and level it up to level 8, then dismantle it. You’ll use 3 cores and 1 prism but when you dismantle it, you’ll get 6 cores
This is the brain dead version. Just use gear that drops (blue or purple) and level it up. You can have 3/4/5 loaded and save your glimmer + some shards if you got lucky. Stop working harder and get smarter. I just came back after 2 year hiatus a week ago and I knew that lol. Keep throwing away glimmer of you want.
@@DireWxlf_ why farm the blue armour pieces??? You can get infinite of them for a bit of glimmer. There is legit no point in farming for blues just to do that, except for if you are low on glimmer, to which you should farm glimmer not cores then
@@Totalynotaweeb the “meta” is to pull blues from collections. I’m saying to just load up the blues that naturally drop. Your wasting glimmer and shards by pulling from collections. And for some reason no one knows that you can do it with purples as well. Same exact reward at 8 energy.
@@DireWxlf_ fair, but that just clutters up your vault, and you have to pre plan to save the blues/purples to upgrade and dismantle for the enhancement core farm, so unless you are predicting to need enhancement cores, there is nearly no point in saving them rather than just recollecting the blues and paying the tiny glimmer tax
0:18 If you have a bunch of enhancement prisms/legendary shards and extra glimmer, you can trade them for enhancement cores. 1. Go into collections > armor > leveling. Buy a blue item for 777 glimmer. 2. Level it from level 5 to 8. This costs 10 legendary shards, 3 enhancement cores and 1 enhancement prism (plus glimmer). 3. Dismantle for 6 enhancement cores (profit of 3 cores).
Ya know, not only are your videos top tier, but your dry wit and casual sarcasm is *chef’s kiss*. I love it. All of these other D2 creators are either way too serious, or are way too happy about whatever they’re talking about. Honestly, it’s like listening to myself explain something to one of my friends. And it’s perfect.
The pit of heresy boss drops very "spikey" armor because it's a garunteed +16 in 2 random stats which CAN be different from the one on your ghost, leading to armor that is almost exclusively those three stats and is definitely worth running on rotator week. The armor also covers at tier 7 and drops 1 enhancement core every time it's dismantled if it's not worth keeping
For the legendary shards, go to your collections to Flair and get Rare Transmat Effects, from there visit Rahool and you can turn in 3 rare transmat effects for a legendary transmat effect, you can then dismantle it for a legendary shard.
0:30 there is a faster way to do this. The prophecy dungeon has 3 knights that spawn in the very first room you start in. This is a lot faster as they spawn faster than going to a new moon chest spawn.
hm, not sure i'll have to try it. you dont need to go to a new chest FYI, you can just keeping shooting the same wrong rune. I got this down to about one core every 15 seconds
@@ZOOFI57 But you still need to shoot the runes for it to spawn. In the prophecy 3 knights spawn and by the time you kill 1 and then another one the previous ones respawn
FYI, for the Lost Sector Exotic farm to work in which you need to be full of engrams on your character; the only engrams that now stay on your character are Prime's and Eververse. No more umbrals in the game, so a lot more difficult to do and you probably want to start saving all you can. There are 19 Eververse from the season pass rewards, so use these to top off if you need to.
You can also fill the armor slot the drop would go. So if the lost sector is exotic arms you can just keep that slot filled, if you don't have 9 extra armor pieces in that slot re-aquire blues from the collection.
For Glimmer, I'd rather recommend doing some regular (not legend) lost sectors on Europa with stasis equiped and trying to get stasis kills. That drops tons of herealways pieces and those can be turned to Rahool for 25:10,000 (iirc), which is pretty efficient and also let's you farm weapon levels and not get bored of running around in patrol areas.
IMPORTANT: If you are in need of upgrade modules, do the witch queen or light fall on a character you have not done it on and you will get lots of them.
Glimmer can also be farmed by heroic events. When you finish them you'll get 15k ish if you have a boost on. Combine that with rainmaker and you should speed through it pretty fast
I had no idea that you could still get adept weapons even if you had a flawed card. Thanks for the pointer, that'll definitely make me hop into trials more!
Not really a farm for gear but to anyone who wants another location for grinding catalyst progress, on the moon in the sorrow harbor where you do the seven waves of hive sacrifice if you stay to the right and head towards the vex spawn where you begin the xenophage quest it usually spawns a good chunk of vex to kill and will always refresh upon fast travel to the bay again. Usually guarantees around 5 to 10% progress for your catalyst. I have also seen some of my catalysts get around 20% in one run. Hope this helps some people out
One great way of making glimmer while building up on mats to trade with Rahool (if you own Beyond Light) is farming two Heroic PEs daily on Europa. The PEs will give you around 25k in a window of like 6-10 mins, while Variks' upgrades should net you around 30-40 Herealways mats as long as you're killing with stasis and/or precision shots. Add that to mat hunting if there's enough people running the PE, and you can get around 30-40k glimmer with enough Herealways for 10k more and a bit.
Honestly, for glimmer, just go to the EDZ and farm public events (heroic) while having the highest glimmer mod equipped on your ghost. Goes a lot faster than the resource farm method.
Also, you can get the last hidden RoN chest by getting a Nezzy checkpoint, and going backwards. If you need the video, look up Cheese Forever's Solo RoN chest
For upgrade modules I found that the legendary campaign gave an insane amount of them. My inventory is full and so is the postmaster for 2 of my characters
if you want legendaries quick then get a gatekeeper cp on vault of glass, start by killing the hobgoblins but dont kill the gate keeper, the 3 vex each side will endlessly spawn with 1 yellow bar each time, easy glimmer and legendaries all in one along with catalyst grinding :)
I am so glad this exists now, I've been looking for it since I got back into destiny a few weeks before lightfall I also hate how forced you are to have friends for the game, I like the legendary lost sector mechanic with a limited amount of revives and I think they should implement that or something similar in more activities for people like me who have no friends (who activily play the game at least)
I prefer running Public Events in EDZ for Glimmer farm. One Heroic completion gets you about 13K Glimmer, and most items outside of the Exotic Kiosk in the Tower can be bought after maybe 4 runs depending. Probably not the fastest but it is engaging and getting a heroic can be done Solo if you know how.
Great vid man . Usually I'm always needing enhancement cores but this season I find myself short of legendary shards and ascendent alloys . And the the alloys I didn't see mentioned in the vid . Grinding hero wq weekly story is terrible . I literally ran 15 of them all platinum runs and not a single one dropped for me . I just wanted to added that u can target farm a bunch of the neomuna weaps just by running all 3 toons up to the breakneck part of the campaign. Then delete a toon and do it 2 times more . Better if you don't have other toons already but still efficient and not difficult at all and it nets u the fusion, hgl ,the pulse are target and if u do the side quest the sniper and bow
For the heroic patrols, if just farming that, load into overload, look, if none, load into the fast travel at the harbor, and look there. There was times where I ended up getting 3-4 heroics in a row just by just swapping between overload and fasttravel and it reseting the areas.
this is good to know i like fallout but srsly trials is trials and going flawless it gona be difficult no matter what but I understand FO just trying to help
I really appreciate this, I've played since D1 vanilla and have never had a friend group to play with. I've really been wanting to do more content like raids eventually so I joined your discord. Haven't found anyone yet, but I look forward to. In the mean time I find these super helpful.
For something casuals can do which is pretty engaging. Play IB whilst using a set of 4 IB armour pieces. Then use your ghost mod for additional legendary equipment. Dismantle and most games you’ll get around 10 legendary shards and an enhancement prism! On top of this you’ll get a bunch of rewards. I’m on reset 5 on Saladin and I’ve made about 600-800 ish shards and about 40 prisms. It’s pretty good.
I do hero nighfalls…sure it’s a big long but it guarantees prisms and cores upon completion and a chance at exotics as well as reputation with the vanguard which helps with legendary shards as well as tons of glimmer
For the Ascendant Shard you don't have to go flawless you can go through with a flawed card and after the 7 win mark every game after has a chance to drop one. It also has a chance to drop prisms aswell.
@@harisonpunian3689 yes but there's a lot of people who aren't going flawless and probably never will who instantly crossed this method off their list the moment fallout said flawless
@@MrDekasOne it’s me. I’m that person. I almost always do Trials without my fireteam, and playing with randos I’ll never be good enough to go flawless. But just getting to 7 wins… slightly more doable.
If you need glimmer, you can also do public events. If you get it heroic it gives around 11-15k each time. Combine this with the method shown here and you will never be broke again.
Also, if you're going to farm crucible at least mod your ghost for the mats you're looking for. Banner is great because the emblem gives you like 50% rep boost (saw this in a post I can no longer find but can confirm that it must be true as I reset my rank 2 days in a row and nearly a third but haven't played enough to do so) and the armor with that perk attached gives you drops as well so theoretically you could really clean up in crucible. If you're going to do it anyway, make it rewarding for you.
farming Ada-1 Bounties is a breaze if you grab the make 100 orbs and just chill at the OG loot cave in Grasp of Avarice. It's a good source of XP at the beginning of the season too.
This depends on how they will fix the Ghal encounter in duality but you can solo it in 3 min with strand rocket riding and even in master difficulty and you get a 50% ascended shard drop rate plus artifice armor 18%XP to all weopuns and 10k XP and shards and prisims too
Best farm for glimmer, cores and modules is the nightmare event in sorrow harbor on the moon, mattergrams and matterwaves trigger on many of the yellow health bar enemies (plentiful in that event and weak) and you get a LOT of phantasmal fragments at the end that can be exchanged for glimmer at rahool, also good for leveling crafted weapons
I think I’ve gotten a prisim on every heroic nightfall run I’ve done (that has matchmaking). It’s a lot harder than it used to be, but man, it’s been way more consistently rewarding.
to boost my enhancement core I just do legend lost sector (especially when there is an easy one) then convert the Enhancment Prisms to cores by upgrading blue gearto tier 8 then dismantling. You get 3 enchantment core for every prism and honestly its really easy to get your prisms back doing the lost sectors anyway on top of the cores you already get from the lost sector. Last weekend I did the Calus Ship lost sector and got like 200 cores and maxed out my prisms then converted to ascendant shards and maxed out my prisms again all in a 4-6 hour resource grind session. I was doing that lost sector in about 7 min but if there are faster ones then that grind can be nutty
One thing you left out: legend nightfalls drop golf balls pretty often now. Bungie seems to have buffed the rewards to align with the difficulty changes.
With the recent glimmer changes, heroic public events are very good. You get roughly 16k with the booster, and they're constantly going on the edz. Each one takes like max 5 minutes
Each weekend XUR offers an Exotic Cipher Quest!!! You have 4 days to grind it. Upon completion, you can unlock an exotic at the Tower. Complete and exchange it before the weekly reset, and you can repeat the process the following weekend. Really unsure why nobody ever mention it and GOD do i wish i knew that when i started, but yeah, there it is, you're welcome.
If you really need glimmer, pop a rain maker and do the moon event, the unending spawn of trawls makes it easy to pop 200+ heads in 20-30m I go from no glimmer to full quite fast. (I was farming glimmer to finish all the fragments on all my characters)
It's been a while since I've done it, but the 2 chests using the wish wall in Last Wish can drop decent stat armor. Not a guarantee, but it doesn't take too long to do both and the weapons are nice if they drop too
I've been out of all 780 of my matter weave since late witch queen. been doing the gunsmith cheese where you do it on all 3 then delete one so you can do an extra 4 bounties. keep that 1 your never touch except to do bounties, delete and repeat for as long as you have the patience.
A buddy of mine hoards ships in his vault to make sure he always has guaranteed glimmer in case he ever needs it. I believe it’s Zavala’s Authority or whatever it’s called, and the Always On Time sparrow. It’s technically less glimmer back than what you spend to buy them, but he bought a bunch when he filled up on glimmer
I spammed master lost sectors. A way to skill up, test out builds AND get a ridiculous amount of enhancement core and prism. So many prisms in fact I had to start turning them into ascendant shards
Pro tip: I have a ton of legendary shards and if you are like me, you can reacquire rare armor, upgrade it three times (5 energy to 8 energy) and when you dismantle it, you get 6 enhancement cores back. You spend 3 and get 6... Of course you use legendary shards, but once again I dismantle so much things on all my characters.
I grind for cores sometimes by getting blue armor, enhancing it up to lvl 8 using two enhancement prisms, and dismantle into 6 cores. it's a 1 prism to 3 core transfer. good if you're doing a lot of gm's and don't need the prisms.
I just wanna say, the blue transmat method is the equivalent of hoarding the othercide sparrow for easy glimmer. Buy them when you have extra glimmer. You can literally stack 999. So, the is a lot of shards. Remember 999 FOR EVERY TRANSMAT SLOT. I dont think its 'efficient' but its good for shards on demand when you need a little bit.
Your RNG on the gold patrols must be amazing. I have not received a single red border weapon from the ones I have done so far. Neither have a couple of other people I talked to.
Additionally, if you're struggling to go flawless, you can wait until the Flawless pool drops, then you can have a much better chance to go flawless as all the sweats get pulled out of your pool. VOG bonus chest gives spoils and is really easy to do solo on Hunter and Titan (Warlock is a bit tricky for non warlock Players, as it requires heat rising and some skill with movement techs) just requires some OOB shenanigans. Farming for Neomuna deepsights is better by farming Heroic Patrols with the Neomuna weapon drop. I got all but one of the deepsights done in a single day. Don't bother with the Terminal overload itself for that, but use the load zone for it to start your hunt. If Doing the Terminal Overload farm, If Terminal Overload is in Ahimsa park, you can loot the chest 4 times instead of 3 if you practice the pathing with your sparrow well enough, as that loadzone transition is shorter than the others.
Whenever iron banner goes live I just grind out with all the boost gear and things, equip the ghost mod that grants enhancement prisms for precision kills, and just play a lot. Most of the time I’m able to get 2 or 3 ascendant shards in the week, unfortunately iron banner isn’t around all the time, but it’s still a fun way to get ascendant shards imo
While glimmer method doesn’t produce a lot of shards, it’s more about doing it over time cause they will add up. I usually do it when I’m full on glimmer cause glimmer is easy to come by. Just spend 50-100k doing this then wait until max again. Last season I had about 2500 blue transmits to reconfigure and delete
Not one that comes up super often, but whenever I need to complete a Exotic catalyst for a weapon, it just need to get X number of kills with something, I always go to the Cosmodrome lost sector Veles Labyrinth. It’s got around 125 enemies, tho sever are exploders which can kill other enemies who won’t count towards your total. It’s super easy to do, equipping the right ammo finder mods or getting lucky and having an event be happening nearby can keep you full on ammo very reliably, and it takes at maximum 9-10 runs for even a primary ammo exotic.
For glimmer, just put the glimmer mod on your ghost and go on the EDZ and do public event. You might need to do them on heroic, but you'll get between 12000 to 15000 glimmer. It's easy and quick, there's almost a public event every 30 sec on the EDZ
Another quick tip is to not go to the tower and pick up bounties and just pick them up with the official mobile app. It saves a bunch of flying around and if you're OCD like me you don't have to go mouse over them to stop them flashing in the UI if you do it BEFORE logging on. Also if you're at light, legendary lost sectors aren't that bad for prisms, if you consider the possibility of random loot drops too. I was farming those sub 1800 in less than 10 minutes so 1800+ should be cake.
If doing the Neomuna farm for terminal overload in the eastern area with the pyramid ship, if you're truly quick you can do it 4 times total. If you have Always On Time you'll have an easier time getting that 4th hit.
for Enhancement Cores, buy blue armor and upgrade them into level 8, after that dismantle said armor and you will get 3 free cores for each dismantled blue armor. The only downside is that you tan out of legendary shards, but you get +100 enhancement cores in 10 minutes if you are consistent
Another note on Upgrade modules: I consistently hear about guardians using them *too* frequently without releasing they don't need to. The two reasons you should infuse into your gear is to save character space or because you are going into a light level enabled activity. As long as you are CARRYING your highest light level gear, your drops will reflect your highest available LL. You don't need to have it equipped, as long as it's with you. saves a load of modules you wouldn't need to buy/use
You've not needed to have your highest light gear on your character since the entirety of D2. As long as it's on your character or in your vault, the game factors that into your drops.
I recommend solo players make their lfg post for nightfalls as "no mic", most players are fine with that and will opt into it and at least pre-difficulty changes there was nothing really worth communicating on. I'm comfortable talking on lfg, but I don't really want to and I'd rather listen to podcasts while I play so I often do that for my lfg posts
Hey Fallout quick question about the high stat armor. So I'm in the process of trying to some armor that have high resilience and recovery. What mod would you recommend for me to put on my ghost?
Put on Discipline. The reason being, it will force a 10+ in Discipline and 10+ in either of the top 3 (Mobility, Resilience, or Recovery). I assume you're a warlock. This is what I do.
Iron Banner is a little decent for getting high stat armors. I've been getting a few 63+ armor pieces, sometimes the rolls are bad but sometimes they're amazing.
If you've got an exotic where the catalyst includes getting kills with the weapon but you have the patience of a dog staring at a piece of bacon; For heavy weapons, load up dares of eternity. If you complete the Starhorse obstacle course, free regenerating heavy for the heavy exotic that entire round and lots of targets to shoot at. Start blastin. Stand on the right plate, even more regenerating heavy for the final round, continue blasting. For primary and energy weapons, load up Grasp of Avarice. The old loot cave functions perfectly as a kill farm of never ending spawns of thralls and acolytes. Just be sure to wait about every 3 spawn cycles so that the exploding engrams don't take the kills from you.
Grasp loot cave kills only count at half the rate, plus you have to deal with engrams stealing your kills, plus you have to deal with engrams killing you if you accidentally pick any up. I usually do primary/special weapons at one of the following: 1) Exo Challenges. Particularly Simulation: Survival (the boss will infinitely spawn waves of six Vex goblins; great for primaries or if you have a mix of weapons of different ammo types--I actually did my whole DARCI catalyst here because I was doing something else and had dozens of heavy bricks lying around so figured why not). The enemy density isn't super fantastic, but it's at least very consistent. Throw on some music and just mindlessly go at it for a while and you can get done with whatever. Simulation: Safeguard works similarly, except that there are friendly NPCs that will gradually kill the boss and there are some tanky Wyverns in the mix, so it's not quite as good. Don't bother with Agility. 2) If Simulation: Survival is not up, my next choice is the second mission of the Witch Queen campaign, particularly the final checkpoint where flags are free and you can get a few dozen kills before wiping to get more ammo to go at it again. Ideal for heavy weapons that aren't naturally suited to add clear such as LFRs and swords, as well as stuff like Cloudstrike or DARCI (if it's a RL or heavy GL, might as well just do Dares). 3) Patrol zones with high density: if you happen to be in a zone where the "Enemies are moving against each other" prompt shows up or is ongoing when you get there, consider that a chance to grind out some quick kills. The problem is actually making this happen consistently. Trostland has a pretty accessible one, but there's a good chance you might be competing with blueberries for kills. Alternatively, if you're also low on Glimmer, try looking for the Glimmer Mining public events, as turning those Heroic basically gives you infinite waves of Fallen enemies for a few minutes to clean up (though again, only if you can kill things faster than whatever blueberries are there). I wouldn't set out to farm these for catalyst or crafted weapon XP alone, but if I have a weapon on me that needs those and I'm in the area for whatever reason, it's nice. 4) Shuro Chi. I don't actually use this spot that often, as I find inputting the code and/or getting a checkpoint to be too much hassle alongside burning a raid banner every rep, but it's still a very popular spot for a reason. 5) On weeks where the weekly rotating Shadowkeep mission is that campaign's first mission, you can run that, as the opening two sections have infinitely-spawning heavy ammo boxes. A good Dares alternative if you're sick of Dares (though there are other reasons to do Dares even if you're tired of it, by which I mostly mean legendary shards). 6) The addition of various enemy-dense Battlegrounds to the strike playlist makes that a better choice than it has historically been. If you need Zavala rep or whatever, just throw on a crafted weapon or two and an exotic weapon you need the catalyst for (ideally a primary) while you're at it. 7) If it's one of the handful of catalysts that specifically need Guardian kills, Momentum Control is traditionally the best mode to do that in, since TTKs are incredibly fast and ability energy is harder to come by. In particular if you're working on the quest for the Witherhoard catalyst (one of the best catalysts in the game BTW, prioritize that if you don't have the gun or completed catalyst yet), that gun is really good, but also make sure you're bringing a heavy GL and trying to get heavy as often as you can reasonably manage, since that counts (I think; did it a long time ago and trying heavy GLs hadn't occurred to me at the time).
the neomuna deepsight farm can double as a legendary shard farm until you get all the red borders. i think i got around 200+ shards last night farming all the weapons for red borders. other and that you may have missed ascendant alloys farm for enhanced perks on craftable weapons.
To be bluntly honest, just farm Grandmasters on a double loot week to max your Ascendant Shards and Prisms with the extra loot Ghost mod instead of doing anything else for those things. GMs on double loot are also good for farming Exotics. Farm Lost Sectors on days with shorter ones for Enhancement Cores, it’ll also net you some Legendary Shards and Exotics if you need good rolls. Nothing else is even close. (And you’ll never need more than about 1000 Cores .) Once you max out the former and get enough of the latter, you’ll never really need to farm for more to the same degree, just periodically to top yourself off.

Small correction for the trials ascendant shard step, you don't even need flawless card, just play on a 7 win card flawed or not and they drop
At worst. I am regretting not farming them sooner now.
you dont even need to be on the same flawless card to get the loot
i turned in my card on saturday and got 7 wins on a new card (flawed) and still got loot drops on sunday/monday
I didn’t notice a section for solo farming Alloys so I assume that doesn’t exist atm 😅 I’m big sad because I need sooo many
My favorite farm for weapon leveling:
Go to the moon campaign mission called “In the Deep” (it’s only active on a weekly rotation) at the very end when you have to run away, stop at the bridge under the tomb ship and turn around.
This is also how I got a lot of my catalysis and leveled weapons.
this is huge tyvm. very tired of doing the wish wall for shuro chi
You can also use Breakneck mission from Lightfall.
The moment you break glass door and put a flag. There is alot of vex goblins that spawn and also you can refill your mags from rally flag.
How is this compared to grasp of avarice farm?
Yep. I quickly levelled up three or four crafted weapons this way to get them to 20 so I could god-roll reshape them.
Finally, a farm I can do without my friends yelling at me for using Symmetry for boss DPS.

This is vital information, so many people fuck up doing the weekly vow chest and it becomes more of a chore than it already is.
i find it easier to just run past them and take the 10 seconds of death timer
I do this every week. It's great.
Also, use leviathans breath on Savathun in the beginning
You can also equip a public defender ghost mod to increase your rewards so it helps a bit with legendary shards and enhancement cores.
Came to see if someone posted this. Bungie buffed this a season ago or so, and it's now easily the fastest, low stress way to get glimmer.
15k if you put on glimmer boosting mods on your ghost
For enhancement prisms, I would recommend wearing the iron banner armor with the origin trait when IB is up. It rewards enhancement prisms fairly frequently if you wear 4 pieces, and you basically just have to show up and play.
But iron banner sucks
@@rvidxrjohn2504 Iron banner is great since they removed light level advantage from it
I would, but the IB armor I get refuses to be good enough for my PvP stat builds.
@@Ferno556 i wouldnt call Immortal banner great :/
It may be the case that you can just wear it as an ornament and the effect will still proc. Not 100% sure though.
For spoils, there a fairly easy OOB you can do to get out of bounds in VoG, then get to the first secret chest. That chest seems to always give spoils even when VoG isn’t the raid in weekly rotation.
This is correct vog definitely gives spoils from the secret chests each week
@@joshuajulian4665 a few things to let you know. 1 you can farm any of the encounters in Ron for spoils best are nez and first encounter and 2 anarchy isn't that great. I bought it awhile back and it's ok
The first vow chest is also braindead easy. I do each of these every week on all chars for 30 spoils in like 7 minutes
@@paffyoggy yeah, I'm super late to the party. It's my last forsaken exotic. And I'll have to see if I can find some LFGs for first encounter farm.
There is legit no point in farming for blues just to do that, except for if you are low on glimmer, to which you should farm glimmer not cores then
@@Totalynotaweeb who said anything about farming blues???????????????
Went from 3 cores to 100 in like 10 minutes. But it does sink your legendary shard count.
Not many people know about this! Super easy way to get those shards up!
Where?
@@MrKajiscottin the anus of a big bear
For the legendary shards, go to your collections to Flair and get Rare Transmat Effects, from there visit Rahool and you can turn in 3 rare transmat effects for a legendary transmat effect, you can then dismantle it for a legendary shard.
Thank you for the shoutout Fallout...appreciate you. 😘
Finally a guide for me and my no friends.
Not a consistent way, but a quicker way; lucent hive spawns In the throne world patrol area, if you know where to look for them
FYI, for the Lost Sector Exotic farm to work in which you need to be full of engrams on your character; the only engrams that now stay on your character are Prime's and Eververse.
@@dexterpaton7944 i did this and it went to post master as a piece of gear not an engram.

That’s a good point and with how much I enjoy the witch queen campaign I think one of my characters will suffer a fate of repeating deletion
That is the best use of Finest Matterweave I've ever seen, bless your soul
Glimmer can also be farmed by heroic events. When you finish them you'll get 15k ish if you have a boost on. Combine that with rainmaker and you should speed through it pretty fast
I had no idea that you could still get adept weapons even if you had a flawed card. Thanks for the pointer, that'll definitely make me hop into trials more!
Thank you for this, I don't ever have a team since I play in very short bursts due to the woman, the child, and the job, so this is very helpful
It actually blows my mind that we can't just toggle on finest matterweave or rainmaker so we dont have to go in each time just to use it.
I am so glad this exists now, I've been looking for it since I got back into destiny a few weeks before lightfall
I also hate how forced you are to have friends for the game, I like the legendary lost sector mechanic with a limited amount of revives and I think they should implement that or something similar in more activities for people like me who have no friends (who activily play the game at least)
I'm genuinely surprised you didn't add heroic public events for glimmer - arguably the best way to get lots of glimmer fast and cheap
Thank goodness, I needed this as a solo player. Thanks for catering to every part of the community Fallout!
This is why I subscribed. Just watching your other videos made me understand, you get it. Love your content
There was times where I ended up getting 3-4 heroics in a row just by just swapping between overload and fasttravel and it reseting the areas.
for the trials one , you only need flawless if you want the adept loot, you can still get the ascendent shards if you did not get flawless before.
this is good to know i like fallout but srsly trials is trials and going flawless it gona be difficult no matter what but I understand FO just trying to help

It’s pretty good.
yeah iron banner was amazing too bad its gone.
Thank you for this! The highest stat armor I've received was 69. After masterwork with the desired mod, it totaled at 91.
Thank you so much for putting this together! As a new solo player, this is incredibly helpful! Saving for future reference

Going flawless does significantly up the rates

If you need glimmer, you can also do public events. If you get it heroic it gives around 11-15k each time. Combine this with the method shown here and you will never be broke again.
Also for catalyst and weapon level farming, launch grasp of avarice. Dont activate the first encounter (and avoid picking up treasure) endless thrall.
Pit gave me my absolutely cracked Chestpiece on my Titan.
28 Resilience and 24 Discipline when masterworked.
farming Ada-1 Bounties is a breaze if you grab the make 100 orbs and just chill at the OG loot cave in Grasp of Avarice. It's a good source of XP at the beginning of the season too.
I have found some finest matterweave since Lightfall came out. Also, some of the ghost mods need to be unlocked somewhere. Great video :)
Yes! Thank you! this was the exact type of video I was looking for!
to boost my enhancement core I just do legend lost sector (especially when there is an easy one) then convert the Enhancment Prisms to cores by upgrading blue gearto tier 8 then dismantling.
Soloing legend Nightfalls really doesn't appeal to me the way you think it does.
@@spacedoubt15 I never said to solo them. He mentioned LFGing GMs to get golf balls. My point is you can get them more easily by LFGing legend
Golf balls aren't listed in the reward list for legend nightfall? Are you sure?
With the recent glimmer changes, heroic public events are very good. You get roughly 16k with the booster, and they're constantly going on the edz. Each one takes like max 5 minutes
Each weekend XUR offers an Exotic Cipher Quest!!! You have 4 days to grind it. Upon completion, you can unlock an exotic at the Tower. Complete and exchange it before the weekly reset, and you can repeat the process the following weekend. Really unsure why nobody ever mention it and GOD do i wish i knew that when i started, but yeah, there it is, you're welcome.
I've been running insanely low on enhancement cores all season, definitely gonna try that moon cheese.
Love your videos! You get straight to the point, and have been very helpful with those who are causal and non causal players. Appreciate ya!!💯
Legendary story missions give you 2 upgrade modules every encounter (double chest) - so about 4-6 on EVERY Mission. :)
Not a guarantee, but it doesn't take too long to do both and the weapons are nice if they drop too
Thanks man, that was a much needed greatly detailed farming guide.
For upgrade modules do legendary campaigns guaranteed 1-2 per mission (lightfall chests also give upgrade module per chest in mission)
Good tip use The greater core harvesters so that you can infuse blue armor with those and you get six enhancement Cores
You can literally just keep waiting around for the cabal event.
They basically spawn back to back for some reason
@@awacsrazgriz967 That's where I do all my Gunsmith bounties, and whatever other ones I can.
I racked up 100 Enhanced Prisms and about 220 Enhanced cores yesterday on Lost sectors alone. Obey the Law of Accumulation
heroic public events also drop around 15k glimmer from the chest! (with the max glimmer booster)
I got a 55 “High Stat Armor” from the HELM yesterday. Was pretty pissed
Mileage may vary for the Heroic Patrol farm. I did like 8 of them yesterday and didn’t have a single one drop Deepsight.
@@LODIN yea I am a warlock. Appreciate the advice!
For upgrade modules, play the legendary lightfall campaign.
Now we’re taking. Solo grass touching is right up my alley…
Iron Banner is a little decent for getting high stat armors. I've been getting a few 63+ armor pieces, sometimes the rolls are bad but sometimes they're amazing.
If you've got an exotic where the catalyst includes getting kills with the weapon but you have the patience of a dog staring at a piece of bacon;
For heavy weapons, load up dares of eternity.
I usually do primary/special weapons at one of the following:
1) Exo Challenges.
Heroic Public events with the max glimmer mod on your ghost gives around 13,000 glimmer per completion!
the neomuna deepsight farm can double as a legendary shard farm until you get all the red borders. i think i got around 200+ shards last night farming all the weapons for red borders. other and that you may have missed ascendant alloys farm for enhanced perks on craftable weapons.
These were solid. Nice tips
(And you’ll never need more than about 1000 Cores .)
Once you max out the former and get enough of the latter, you’ll never really need to farm for more to the same degree, just periodically to top yourself off.
