Great session buddy 🎣🐟👍🏻 me and my son went to the forgotten lake again Sunday my son had a lovely little 11lb pike and then I struck in to a big fish and lost it at the net we caught a glimpse of it and it was massive looked like that magical 30lb monster or very close we was amazed but gutted but glad we had seen it so I kept my head up and got the rod back out in position and just prayed that another big girl would come along and then about hour later 🎣bang fish on 🐟 and managed to land it another big girl 🐟 but turned out to be the same 24lb 5oz pike my son had a couple of weeks earlier and same fish I had 2 months ago at 24lb still in amazing condition great to see her again for the 3rd time 🐟 I’ve now got the bug for that bigger girl I lost can’t wait to get out again 🤞hopefully I can get her this time 🎣🐟👍🏻good luck and tight lines thanks for your videos 👍🏻

Loving the channel ciz. Lucking forward to seeing this big capture. Could you tell me how long do you wait to set the hook after the first indication of a bite. I think I lost a big fish today because I struck too soon
If there's any indication that a pikes taken the bait so float starts moving or indicator pulls out then strike instantly, if it's a heavily pressured water then wait a few seconds because most of the time the pike drop the bait or can very picky.

Great vid Lee.. question mate when resting pike do u unhook it first then back in net to rest or just unhook the trace get rod re sorted then sort the pike out... cheers
Rest for 10 mins , then take out trace mate

Can tell you get a lot of nice pike calling a 9lber a small one id class that as a decent one my way
