Great videos these. I can relate to the fens. Living in Somerset we have many drains across the Somerset levels. Fished them over 30 years. Very similar fishing indeed.
What a banging fish I'm well happy for you. As you say now and again the big girls could turn up and one has lovely looking esox. Keep it going were behind you...
Great video as always. And what a nice fish, wicked! Well deserved after all the hours you put into it. Always love your videos, nice camerawork, nice music, and good explanations of your fishing methods. Keep em coming!
Another brilliant upload mate am going to miss these uploads when you end the season pike fishing, I do hope you do more pike fishing throughout the warmer months as well on the lures
Really nice content and good footage 👌. Like the fact you keep it simple and dont over complicate things. Not a great fan of the wide mesh nets as sold by 1 or 2 of mainstream brands. You'll start to notice the tears the cause on the fins and mandibles, especially if a fish death rolls in the net. Keep up the good work. Look forward to seeing more videos soon 👌
Massive big girl well done buddy 👍🏻🎣🐟absolute stonker great video work 📸 do you mind if I ask what camera and chest rig you use as I’m new to filming pike catch and release videos and I’m using my phone at the moment thanks for your time and videos 👍🏻🎣🐟
Currently fishing a water with lots of jacks present. Not too keen to use lures I'm hooking probably around a third of my takes. Any advice to improve my rate? I'm fishing half a sardine with 2 size 8 trebles one tail root and one mid flank. Appreciate any thoughts 👍
I would reduce the size of the bait for starters, always sharpen the trebles make sure there razor sharp with a simple hook file......jacks can be a pain unfortunately nothing we can do to stop them taking the baits, you also could go the other way and use very large baits but you will get lots of dropped runs from jack's but if a big pike takes the bait you'll catch her.
The smile on your face Lee precious, can’t stop smiling myself. What a clunker 🎣
