This is so motivating and just cosy to watch 🧡 I'm just getting back to training after a year off with COVID and a bad accident, so this was perfect for some inspo 🥰 I've never in my life felt an urge to do pushups until I found your recent video 😆
Yesss that’s so awesome thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed the video and sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you feel better ASAP and get to do those push ups ❤️❤️
Hey Lucy, I've never commented on here before but just wanted to say thanks for your videos, they always brighten my day :) love learning more about calisthenics and also your recipes! Have a good one
Thanks for the Video just finished my work out and feeling great Did 5-6-5 chin ups and 20-22-18 push ups and squats with 90 lb dumbbells 14-16-20. Still lacking on the dips only 12-11-10 Sit ups and leg raises doing great as well. so a day off and then weight training, Again great watching your videos while working out.
Love watching the calestics training! It's such a cool way to train, but a bit overwhelming on where to start. I'm getting more and more eager to include some play into my training! We have such similar intrests I wish I could just follow you around the gym! Handstand game is on point👌
I rarely write comments but I also wanted to say thank you for your awesome, motivating content, Lucy! I feel like you're the most authentic person on the internet. Your videos and instagram posts are just so inspiring and you are a lovely person! Thanks again and keep going!
I love the way you go about training. This is exactly how I would like to stay. Keeping it fun! Thank you for motivating my 430 am beginner calisthenics training. It is a pleasure to watch your journey. 💪💪
My friend and I can climb 5.11a on top rope but still struggle with getting proficient with v4 bouldering. I love climbing, the challenge of both mind and body is so rewarding
This is refreshing! I resonate with Lucy on many levels glad I found her channel. I cant find myself sticking to a plan and a structured routine, so sometimes I feel like I'm missing out on progress. Eventually I came to terms with it and put enjoyment first and now my training feels like exploring more what my body can do rather than a task that needs to be ticked off.
Beautiful video, really enjoyed watching your training over the course of a week. I have a similar kind of attitude to training, used to follow workout programs very strictly but stopped doing that about 4 months ago because I realized there are different things I want to try, and I also want to listen to what my body is telling me and what I feel like doing on a particular day rather than just doing what the program says. You really brightened my day with this video, I am at work rn but am feeling inspired to go out later and work on my handstands and maybe do some pistol squats as well. Thank you, enjoy your weekend! Greetings from Germany 👋
What a nice, motivating video! As a nearly-graduate of couch25k (just finishing week 8!) I dare say, programmes are good for people who do not have the habit of exercising and/or are really unfit, in their case guidance in building up their endurance and forming good habits is rather essential. Having said that, now that I'm able to run 28 minutes without stopping and I don't need the NHS Laura to tell me what to do, I really begun to enjoy it and no longer view it in terms of targets and timelines. I guess every part of the process has a role in the whole weight loss journey! All the best & love from Ireland.
Well done!! I finished c25k a few months ago and I've been doing a couple 5ks a week since, I went from struggling to run 5 minutes to running 30+ no problem It definitely feels a lot more freeing once you've finished, although I do miss Laura a little bit ahaha
@@dynamicpenguin55 Congrats on sticking to it! I hope I'll keep this up and my running routine won't go out of the window once I reach the "target." Laura is pure class, the remark about observing yourself over the hedge and not being able to tell whether I'm running or walking will stay with me forever 🤣
I'm always in awe how you transitioned from a woman, into this fitness woman/person. Was it a slow process? Did you approach it as "play", & therefore weren't conscious of any changes? Thanks for all you do 👌👍
oh damn, your bouldering story hit me right in the sore spot. I'm still healing from a sprained ankle from my second(!) ever bouldering session, and it was the last hold as well. I went yesterday for the first time since then, and I can't boulder yet, but even horizontal climbing or top roping feels scarier. I really hope it'll get easier, especially when I start bouldering again and practice falling (which I didn't do or research beforehand but trusted my trainer), but it was weirdly good to hear that I'm not the only one struggling with the same issue. I hope it'll get easier for the both of us!
Such a fun workout routine I use a strict routine and it gets dull sometimes although i enjoy it more often than not. Your approach sureley is more fun Great video please keep motivating us
Can you please do some more varied calisthenics workouts we can do at home? I love your channel and your personality and I would love to do more workouts with you!
Not sure if you shared it, but I would love to listen to that playlist you use for handstands! Sounds like my type of music ✨❤️✨ Keep up being amazing! I’m starting my Cali journey soon and you are a big inspiration for me!
Love this video :) Such good inspiration and advice on how to be flexible and maintain your love for what you do! I'm curious to know how long do these workout sessions take you?
Great Video Lucy! i really enjoyed watching it and i find it really interesting to get a glimpse of how you workout on a day to day basis :) What grade are you currently bouldering at? The boulders looked pretty fun, now I want to try them too haha :D
Thank you so much and I’m so happy you enjoyed it! I’m currently around V6 - V7! They had just reset them and there was some pretty challenging routes but fun! Xx

Thank you for your reply!! That's so great, I'm still trying to improve to v4 haha 😅
Dang, good job, Lucy! You should get on rope so you can push yourself at your limit without being worried about falling. ☺️
What would you say the pecentage of your daily workouts is lifting weights and dumbells as opposed to just calisthenics?
Are you retraining for your handstands? Being able to do a handstand is one of my goals.
You give me major peggy carter vibes!! Like you are hayley atwells doubleganger :) and love the vid btw
