Lions see the truck and the people in it as one very big unit. However if any of the passengers separate themselves from that unit, then the lions will attack.
Animals don’t just attack anything. For example some people walk through this wilderness like Maasai. The animals get aggressive when it’s dark. During the day lions do not easily attack humans unless they feel threatened. Lions have different temperament from tigers and leopards. Tigers and leopards are more dangerous to humans. Also you’ll notice lions do not consume hyena and same goes with humans. Lions in the wild rarely attack humans. In zoos they do because they live under different circumstances.
@@JacobVazquez-l7d There is a hyena that lives at least half a year already only walking on their front legs, other clan members take care of them and keeps them alive. Such Wounds are nothing.
This battle is about territory, not about killing. The lions repeatedly spray their scentmarks on the ground after scraping the ground barren. That hyenas took a daring risk to move between the lions and got a punishment. If their intension had been to kill the hyena they would have done so.

It is about killing any chance a lion gets it’ll kill a hyena I’m surprised they didn’t manage to kill this one there are plenty of videos of lions killing hyenas it’s much rarer for hyenas to kill lions but it also happens depending on the situation
I think the driver was right when he said: these lions are still young, had they been a year older the situation would be very different. It also implies that the lionpride is growing in number and they may look to expand their territory. So they had entered on hyenaterritory now. But couldn’t hold it this time as the offspring of the big male (at the end) is still too young to make a hyenakill by themselves. So the young generation withdrew and papa came in to defend against a revenge from the hyenas. The one that held on to the hyena while the others backed off showed off his bravery and will become the leader of his pack of siblings. He may even have let the hyena go because he knew he was not ready to take full leadership of his pack of siblings and didn’t want to challenge the authority to his father on setting new boundary by killing a member of the hyenas. So he hang onto the hyena until even the last of his siblings backed of and thereby he demonstrated his future single leadership over all his siblings.

It’s unfortunate how hyenas have always been portrayed so poorly in popular culture as stupid, disloyal, deceitful vultures, when in reality constitutes something completely different. They possess, pound for pound, the most powerful jaw strength in nature, are highly intelligent, incredibly deft hunters, and possess complete and total loyalty to their pack/one another.

@@alexanderowusu01oh mighty lion whisperer when did the lions reveal this astonishing revelation to you?
Animals don’t just attack anything. For example some people walk through this wilderness like Maasai. The animals get aggressive when it’s dark. During the day lions do not easily attack humans unless they feel threatened. Lions have different temperament from tigers and leopards. Tigers and leopards are more dangerous to humans. Also you’ll notice lions do not consume hyena and same goes with humans. Lions in the wild rarely attack humans. In zoos they do because they live under different circumstances.
Not all Lions are as ferocious as others.
They let it off the hook.
Those are Wizard of Oz lions.

@@Crocutaalphacan you just shut up you comment on every lion related comment💀 your so annoying let people be
It is about killing any chance a lion gets it’ll kill a hyena I’m surprised they didn’t manage to kill this one there are plenty of videos of lions killing hyenas it’s much rarer for hyenas to kill lions but it also happens depending on the situation
