    I'm on Rover and I've been killing it recently. It's so busy and I'm securing that 💰. 😊 its a great side hustle for extra cash. I personally don't go to clients house cuz I'm not comfortable with it(I only accept dogs in my house) but if you are, make sure you take all the precautions. 💜

    Hi Regan your video is spot on! I joined Rover a few months ago and love it. I’m retired and have 3 acres, so most of my business has been boarding. It’s been interesting caring for different breeds. Right now I’m caring for 2 Great Danes which at first we’re a little intimidating, but they’re big sweeties. I’ve subscribed to your channel. Thanks again for all of your great advice.

      Yeah you're going to people's houses sometimes other times I'll meet you at the door and give you their dog.
      I know with WAG! Most of the time the clients are home but they have what is called a WAG! Lockbox which basically is a padlock with a 3 or 4 digit code that you put in and it unlocks the bottom and it has their house key to their front door.
      It reveals the coach you once you've arrived at the client's house so you can turn the dials to the right number and unlock the the bottom to gain access to the client's house.
      Also another tip if you're entering a person's house whether their home or not but more so if they're not always just assume that they have cameras in their house and that they are watching you just so you get in the habit of not doing something weird or kind of a little off to make the client feel uncomfortable or that maybe you you think no one is watching or listening to you say something that maybe they don't like.
      So just keep that in the back of your head and assume that every client is watching you on a nanny camera whatever so that you can just always act professional when entering someone's home.

      You should receive your payment 48 hours after the stay or walk. Rover holds the funds for that period just to ensure that everything went well and there is no need for a refund. Once the 48 hours have passed, you should receive pay!

    • @reganriley2930
      @reganriley2930  3 роки тому +5

      I personally never have but I also have never asked. I have done doggy day care w my dog at home with the rover client though! But I also let the owner know I have a dog at home. If their dog doesn’t like other dogs I probably won’t accept them for doggy day care just because I have one at home. If this is something you are hoping to do maybe put it in your bio or ask the owner beforehand.

    • @AttractionSpot
      @AttractionSpot 3 роки тому +3

      Now I don't see really a rule about this with Rover but if you are doing it with WAG! For safety reasons they don't allow you to bring other dogs or pets with you while on your walk unless they're the dogs from the client's house.
      This is a safety issue 4f like the client's dog is aggressive towards other dogs and things.
      But I mean if you have a legitimate service animal and that's different.
      I know for boardings I have two chihuahuas at the house I've had other dogs over at the house while my dogs are here. It's really up to the client if they feel comfortable with that or not.
      With Rover there is just have to read your profile saying that you have your docs in the house or you can even take on multiple dogs at once they just need to be known that you have other dogs there at the time if they're requesting a boarding.
      With WAG! Before you do a boarding there is some pre-selected questions that the client marks yes or no to such as has their dog had all their shots, is their dog spayed and or neutered, does your dog get along with other dogs, does the client feel comfortable with you having dogs in your house.

I can tell you though that it wasn’t hard to make back that money.
