How do you manage practices? What's your time management strategy? How much time on batting, fielding, throwing, etc? And I guess I'd like to know your "winning softball" philosophy.
Let's say it's a 2 hour practice - I'll spend maybe an hour 15 on fielding and hitting drills. The rest of the practice I like to work situations. If its a younger team, say 8U, I'll split up the practice half defense and half hitting with a huge emphasis on drills.
I tried side throwing and I got pain in my elbow after a bit is this normal? I am a kid so it’s not old age. Does that mean I am throwing it wrong though?

@@gary8768 I usually have pitchers and catchers come 20 or so minutes early
