All we Hungarians want, is not to be the enemy of anybody. If the West decides to slam the door into our face (kick us out or become outwardly hostile to us), we, the majority of the Hungarian people will fully support our government turning to the East for partners (China, Russia, Indonesia).
Therefore, such a move would end up strengthening those and weakening the West. Do you really think that is worth it? Europe and even more so Ukraine should have listened and should listen to Hungary, because actually we have been their only true friends out here. Just one small point, we have a Nuclear Power Plant which has been operating safely and successfully, for decades. The EU has approved the extension and enlargement of this project and we are supplying Electricity to Ukraine. The video has ignored this point and is pretending that we are doing something which is not approved. Legally there is nothing wrong with stopping illegal Migrants to come to Hungary, if you wish to come, request entry. Russian scientist and trade people are allowed to work @ this Nuclear Plant, they are also welcomed as tourist's and they all will return to their home country. Closing the borders, which is possible by removing them from the zone or simply removing them completely from the EU. Russians need to be vetted to enter the EU and that is even to apply to move to other countries outside of the EU.. if you’re a Russian currently that person needs to be vetted to even apply for a visa in another country super difficult take up to a year just to get that done.

To be clear, I am a Canadian, I follow world events, etc. But if I did live in Europe, I would be hounding my member of the EU Parliament to first. Exam the rules to suspend Hungary's right to vote. 2nd, what is involved to remove Hungary from the EU. All I seen over the years is Hungary benefiting from it's membership to the EU. The question is, beyond grief, what does Hungary bring to the EU. Remember, China is building an Automobile Assembly plant so it can have access to the EU market. Maybe, if it hears rumblings that Hungary could be removed from the EU block, they may decide to halt construction of that plant. Just my 2 cents.

As it is easy to understand, the organization of species, both human and animal, says that species come together. So I hope that Orben's species will join Putin's species and leave the species that wants freedom and democracy. Although it does not represent the entire Hungarian people, it is the head of the nation. I propose that Hungary be suspended from the Schengen Treaty, NATO and the European Community.

The political strategy that Orban plays is very risky and counter to any of the objectives and values of the EU. He is not a team player but a disunified problem. Giving simplified entry to Russian and Belarusian spies put he entire continent at grave danger. Orban thinks he is cute sticking his nose up Putin's derrier. Orban and Hungary need to be kicked out of the EU ASAP to maintain security for the rest of the citizens of the EU. Orban and the Hungarian citizens can decide how much land they want to give the Russians. Hungarians are desperately seeking the nostalgia of the vicious and brutal occupation of Russian times in 1956 , yes?

Sadly, I don't see anything coming from this, despite the EU "outrage". The EU has no formal mechanism for the expulsion of member states; in fact, it was specifically set up that way, which is just...mind-boggling in it's naivete. Any amendments to EU law also requires unaniminty, which obviously isn't going to happen.
EU membership should require countries to post a multibillion € bond - which would be forfeited in the event a country violated its democratic responsibilities.
