I was married to a Hungarian woman. It will surprise how many defect from Hungary. New York city and Florida Is full of them. The average person there makes 4 to 5 hundred a month. That's in American money, by comparison. 100 or more goes health care a month. All after taxes. And they go to jail if you don't pay your healthcare every month. No rich people live outside of Budapest.

I just came home to the UAE after spending a few days in Hungary. It was a marvelous experience, totally different feel from Western Europe, the Hungarians struck me as a Christian nation. They were extremely proud of their identity and their past while being welcoming and respectful of others. I saw phenomenal statues of historical Hungarian heroes, beautiful churches, and an incredible architecture all around. They weren’t ashamed of their past “mistakes” like the Americans and the Western Europeans, they seem to accept the reality of good and evil and that nations are always built on such duality. God bless Hungary.

I have lived in Budapest for almost 5 months last year and recently returned from 2
-week stay there. I can not but agree with most of the comments above. The Hungarians are friendly and proud without being arrogant. The city is lovely and there are practically no bums on the street like in other western EU countries...or the US.
V. Orban might not be the perfect leader, but his country is like a magnet for foreigners, who are looking for a better safer life, and this speaks for itself.

I'm Italian and I totally agree! My wife is formally Romanian but her father was Hungarian who lived in Romania. So my wife is half Hungarian and as a resul our two kids are ¼ Hungarian. A pity that the Hungarian language is so difficult, otherwise we might have considere moving to Hungary... And infact I hear from Mr. Orban that many Europeans of Conservative and Christian orientation are moving into Hungary... the same thought that we are having as a family...

I’m proud to be American but never forget where my family came from. They had help from the Swedish Red-cross once they got to Austria. 2 years in a refugee camp. Got sponsored to live in Iowa USA.

I've just left my birth country of Australia to Hungary (back to roots) and it is amazing here! I've never known such freedoms and never had national leadership to look up to. Hungarians are proud of our culture and traditions and understand basic scientific principles. As a hungarian who is intrested in american politcs just like hungarian politics, i have to say that Orban is an excellent liar, he and his cronies robbed us blind. They sold us to western and asian corporations we have 0 economy we live off from EU money. They couldn’t force us to welcome immigrants becasue the hungarian people in general are not very welcoming towards none europeans. It would’ve been an uprising so they had no choice. The family policy is coming from the fact that most people in their 20’s and 30’ or even in their 40’s have 0 chance to own a property without government aid. Orban said no to arabs but said yes to ukranians which is obviously not as bad due to similarities to culture, but my wildest guess is that we have at least 1 million ukranians in hungary for work in a country where the population is about 9.5 million. BUT hungary also tries to force the vaxx and ignoring ivermectin so my second wildest guess is that they serve the same powers behind the scenes.
