P0k3D0nd3M4cG they aren’t exactly the same. They’re different ways of comparing things. Similes is when you state what something is like, “fast like a cheetah” or “as fast as a cheetah.” A metaphor is when you state that something is what it’s like. “You’re a cheetah.”

This song got me through so many tough times of feeling like a ghost through life, after listening to doom for so long i felt like he was invincible. Listening to his lyrics and feeling empowerment through his isolation HE NEEDS TO BE THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME NOT THE G.O.A.T I'm not religious but I thank the creator for giving us a leader like MF DOOM, leading the younger generation through mental illness into paradise with his written testimony of a journey through life's trials and tribulations, showing the entire world how hard the journey was and how the journey molds you over time. Transforming you into something, something above yourself. Doom and his brother are jamming and reaping the benefits of such works as this right now. Rest In Peace Doom I would of killed myself long ago if it wasn't for you! I'll always devote my life to being a DOOM Fan.

This song is insane. He 'ends' the song at 1:30, but the final rhyme, while great, isn't perfect enough to DOOM, the 'cowboy' part is kind of loosely attached. So he paces around the stage thinking and stifles the applause frustratedly because he wants it to be perfect, and then ends that gorgeous second verse with the absolute fucking perfect rhyme. While he put himself in your shoes run ya kicks
You heard it on the radio, tape it

Raw lyrics-he smells 'em like a hunch
The same intuition that tells him "spike the punch"
    Curses, he's truly the worsest
With enough rhymes to spread throughout the boundless universes
Let the beat blast, she told him wear the mask

Sometimes they were comedic- or relentlessly horrifying
They were the foes of society, whether fighting the local sheriff, or a secret agent
Frequently they mirrored our times: the gangster villains which rival real newspaper headlines of the present day
Collectively, they are the components which have fueled nightmares for decades to come

DOOM is not the god of hip-hop.
DOOM is the God of the entire English language.

Madlib did all the beats and Doom did all the raps. i think the best albums are made that way recorded together in the bomb shelter. This will never get old to me #classic
