    Me and my baby brother are volunteer firefighters on march 10 2015 my brother lost his life in the line of duty he was 18 yrs old.. I've just became aware of what that horrible day has done to my mind I suffer from severe PTSD from that day we do it for the love of mankind and the compassion that deep within our soul...as soon as I'm cleared to return I'm returning to duty

    I do it because even as kid me seeing a fire truck blaring and going to someone's worst day to make it better & help is why, on top of genuinely love doing it. Couldn't imagine doing anything else. The adrenalin rush is the best feeling ever.

      BossATsleep nah, firefighters are there because cops need someone to call

      BossATsleep Expect all cops are paid and 70% of Firefighter in the US do it for free

      police officers need heroes. that's why firefighters respond.

      @@AErney51 there are places with volunteer cops too, at least here in Canada. But yes most are paid.
