They obviously haven't driven a 4wd tractor in deep snow. Can you lock a differential, or drag 1 wheel brake slightly to get power to more than 2 wheels? Get those chains on. A small tractor doesn't weigh enough to get traction without chains( front and rear chains are best!).
@@MountainBeaches Most people that have dealt with this much snow have learned their lesson that a snow blower is required to move that much snow, blow it back in he trees and keep your tractor on the road !!
@@MountainBeaches I don't know what your definition of expensive is but a rear blower facing backwards is cheap IMO. It’s been awhile but I’m pretty sure my tractor had a differential lock. It appeared you had one rear and one front wheel actually turning. Lock that rear Differential that would help next time.

Life if full of potential issues. We choose to live life to the fullest and not wrap ourselves in bubble wrap. You could die in an automobile accident which is MUCH more likely than the scenario you are suggesting. Tomorrow is never promised so we are living for today.
Try to pull or push yourself out with the blade. Raise the front of the tractor and pull or push with the blade little at a time until you can get enough traction to drive out.
And the moral to ths story...put the chains on BEFORE you attempt to plow. Great effort and perserverance to work through being stuck. Hind sight is always 20-20 too. You'll be more prepared next time :)
Norm, I learned a long time ago the chains go onto the tractor, even though it is four wheel drive, before the first snow flies. They make a world of difference, especially in the snow you are plowing. Also a lot easier to put on when it is dry and warmer. All in the learning process. Your are doing great.
Congrats on getting unstuck! When this happens again (and it will) try this. Place the truck in front of the tractor in the middle of the road in 4WD Low. Put a tow rope (longer than what you have) on the left rear wheel. Brake the front wheel (left or both). Pulling will rotate the tractor back on the road. If you purchase another rope you might want to condider one of the kinetic ropes (works like a bungee cord and multiplies you pulling power with a firm yank). We're in a drought now in New Mexico, but when we used to get serious snow (we're at 7,000 ft altitude) this worked great. Love your channel! Good luck!
Whenever I have a front end Snow plow on, I found that putting on the back hoe for the winter works like a charm if you get stuck. The backhoe can push, pull, lift as well as be an excellent counterweight.

You need to be using your snow plow blade to push you out. Lift it up high, turn it under, bring it straight down to the ground then turn it back out towards the front. I’ve never bothered with chains and just using the blade have pushed myself out too many times to count.
Since you should be carrying a couple hundred pound bags of gravel/sand in the back of your pickup for better traction during the Winter, just spread some of that in front of all 4 tires of the tractor and it will walk right out...Heavy Duty cardboard often will also work most of the time..Just.another good reason to have chains for your tractor in the Winter time.

Also when backing and you need a push use your front end loader curl back as far as you can lower frt loader, and as you start backing use the front curl to push back, should work even with the blade, but use your chains and even chains on the front tires, you also might want to invest in one of these new snatch tow straps that have some give and use the momentum of the truck to snatch it out, back, get some slack and gun it, and the momentum of the truck is more than the traction.
