Wow. Just wow. After 5 winters living in Finland, the snow has often made me despair... but this is next level insane. How you can even face it is beyond me. There's just nowhere left to throw the snow to. As someone who has spent endless hours digging, hacking, snowthrowing, ploughing and scraping, just watching this is making me anxious. My hat is off to you sir! Keep fighting the fight 💪👍🙂

I have to agree with James. This is a state of emergency at the state and federal level, way beyond the capabilities of a single township government to address. And while I fully understand the frustration, the fact remains that small local governments can only do so much. They don't have the tax base or tax income to stand prepared for a series of storms of this magnitude. And yeah, I'd be hot over the fact that the roads to the resorts were kept much better maintained than local residential roads, but let's face it: the local government gains a LOT more income from the resorts than they do from residents. Those resorts power the entire local economy, drive the entire local community. If you had limited resources and a huge base to service, tell me true, which would you service first and foremost? Local government must consider the needs of ALL, not just residents, which means devoting resources to keeping main arterial routes passable so that supplies (food, gas, etc) can be available to those that can make it to a place to resupply. Residents choose to live in a place they know may not be well resourced to service their needs in an emergency situation, keep that in mind. In short, your local government is doing the best that they can, even if you believe it is failing you. It's a totally unprecedented emergency situation, a little patience and understanding of the limits of small local governmental powers is called for, IMO.

There will be millions of climate refugees due to this drought. The southwest is DOOMED!!!!!!!!!!
I predict that in the next few weeks that Commiefornia will have massive forest fires. This is just terrible, the humanity of it all.

I find this hard to believe with the snow pack in the west and the decreased demand due to flooding. Then again, what do I know, I have no PHD behind my name.

I'm curious as to what happened with the town highway department. I've been following several creators from the Mammoth area, seem like they have been doing a pretty good job up until now. I'm sure like everyone else they are overwhelmed and burnt out, and sick. Hope they get back on top of things soon. Hang in there, you are almost there. Just get through April.

I saw a video where they were digging out all their equipment and had multiple mechanics working nonstop repairing a few tractors as well. They’re blessed to have such a great group of workers. For some reason we didn’t get our streets plowed for over 3 weeks in San Bernardino mountains and it was devastating to our mountain. No one could even drive around like he was in this video for over 3 weeks

You have a great drive to succeed. You are sick and tired and still pushing through it. I feel for all that are living through this but I’m glad to see the snow finally returning to the mountains again. As far as the lack of leadership in California, eh, I hope you vote them out asap.

Mind blowing!!! I agree that the city definitely dropped the ball today of all days, plus your sick! Which is no surprise to Me after everything you've been through with digging out every single day! Holy Cow! I believe you have more than 57' of snow. I think that was near Tahoe vs Mammoth. You still have April to go yet,and I heard you may get more snow 😢 I'm praying for ALL of you up there in the Sierras! Lord knows you guys need a big break 🙏 I pray that this wave ends soon and you can rest and get well to fight the next if necessary. But, I truly pray you don't have to deal with much more. God Bless you and your family and All the Residents up there. Please keep Us updated when your able. Get you and your family well. 🙏🙏🙏🫶🫶🫶💗💗💗 Take care and Thank you for the update. 🙏🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The only time I have seen it snow that heavy was in 2011 at Sugar Mountain Ski resort at 5200 ft above sea level in western NC in the Appalachian mountains. It snowed 42 inches in 12 hours. It was under 10 degrees F the whole time so the snow ratio was about 40 to 1 but it was amazing. But I am sure that is just a dusting to you. Appreciate your channel. Peace!

Still so far behind though. Pickup needs a 4BTA in the back running a 7' snowblower up front. Maybe some tire chains just in case.. As you said its the worst in your area in 14 years, maybe they can't maintain that level of staffing or they've run out of budget?
