He is 9 years old and talk and performed in front of this enormous people, his confidence is the real magic.
Your comment is also a magic.
I can see how he did this but this kid is amazing with slight of hands..It moves so fast...Good job by an 9yo
Enormous amount of people*
I would get nervous performing in front of my dogs
So well put
He has AMAZING stage presence for a 9-year-old.
I was going to like your comment but as of 6/23/21 at 3:51pm your post has 212 likes. Manhattan area code is 212 so I couldn’t possible hit the like button on your comment. I agree he has amazing stage presence. Most New Yorkers do

Simon has changed a lot over the years. Ever since he has a son. He now speaks from a fathers heart. This little boy was amazing.

Yeah he used to really not like kids on this show
Such a sweet and humble 9 year old boy. Your parents raised you well. All the best for the future kid
To all those who're saying that we know how he did it and that his tricks were a beginner level, well he's a 9 year old, talk about confidence and presenting skills. That kid's gonna be the next shin lim I'm telling you.
I agree. I see they liked it. What can you expect as he's 9 years old (+ agt. Lots of guts right there), then an order person requires more expectations or 4 x's. We'll see if he makes it through to the finals.
So basically you're telling us that his talent is being a 9 year old?lol
Little hands. That's got to make it harder.
@@timothyle4248 I don’t expect as much, but he shouldn’t be judged less harshly because of his age
@@hamfistsman6267 actually for a lot of magic the size of hand doesn't make too many moves hard to do. It mostly comes down to say hiding a card in your hand. Other than that it's really not too bad. I've taught about 10 people 4 being kids magic and that's the only problem they had was hiding cards
Little man is the future of magic. Crazy how young he is but humble to understand there’s a lot of things to learn still.
When I was his age I was picking my nose and afraid of the dark lol
@@kyezek524 I might have bean learning to skateboard and picking my nose at the same time(mulitasking)🤣🤣 that kid is crazy good and knows there is way more for him.

I do magic and let me tell you that coin routine is difficult as hell and that little kid just killed it.. well done!
*The only move I could pick up was the ditch at the very end. Incredible, especially at such a young age.*

His face when he got the yes’s was THE CUTEST 🥰 What a humble and adorable kid.
That's not kid
Shoji: I am nine years old
Heidi: WELCOME TO LOS ANGELES!
He is fantastic
The best part it’s not his magic act, it’s all about his humbleness and character, well done young man👍
Yea 🎋
He's Japanese and taught humility from a young age.
Yeah
Yeah. That's his true magic...
Magic is about presentation and personality too.
Hes so young but yet his double draw is so CLEAN, this is a true magician by heart
He deserved the golden buzzer! Look how cute he is!
His expression when the judges said 'YES' was the cutest thing i've ever seen in this show
This kid is so cute and humble!! Definitely hope he can collaborate with Shin Lim one day😆
I agreed. lol
Yes!! When he goes to the finale 😊
That'd be pretty sweet.
`and they kinda look alike..😀
Shin probably would do a colab
This little cute and adorable boy's real magic is his unwavering confidence that He illustrated towards that much people.😊😊
Nice to see Shoji being emotional after getting 4 yes from judges. His reactions were genuine and cute.
Just spot on. His humility and his respect. The way he cried. I am sorry but that kid tunged at my heart strings. :)
same 😔
He's unbarerably adorable
Don’t let him tung at it
He kind of got to me too LOL but I really do like its magic I think he's great take care of your friend Billy Simmons
On judge cuts, he need to be the golden buzzer
This little boy is amazing, talent or not. He wants to buy tacos with his money...can't get any better than that! Lol 🤣 🌮 🌯😍
Hey dear
@Rye Bread not worried about his talent. His love for tacos won me over.
@@aaronalex4450 hey dear
@Rye Bread you're not paying him though. And it doesn't matter what he likes, if he wins, he gets tacos...
That's right it doesn't matter what the boy like
He’s the cutest 🥺 Tacos & dog are a great combo
This kid is so humble, innocent and confident. Super nice character.
And the way he put his hands on his chin when Simon was about to comment on his act 😄😄, so beautiful.❤️

he sounded really like Harry there:
"i'm Harry, just Harry"
He's Shin Lim Jr

Oh my gosh he's a mini shin lim! 🤩☺
When he started to cry, I cried as well 🥺
Omg same
Love how the judges gave him the most confidence-boosting comments and reactions all throughout even though lil shoji is still somewhat of a beginner. Imagine him a few years later
Asians are the most humble and respectful people in the world ❤️
1:25 Heidi wink just killed me 😍
😉
His act was simple, but was well executed given the fact that it was flawlessly performed by a 9 year old.
Hello Melissa
Hello Melissa, how are you doing??
@williams king how are you
@jackson rodriguez I am good how are you?
@@melissas1815 I'm glad you are okay, I'm fine also
Nice meeting you, where are you from?
He is very humble very cute his stage presence without a fear or a shy infront of such a huge audience at 9 yrs old is extremely appreciatable. So much love to shoji the cutest yet talented magician I had ever seen❤🇱🇰
So cute, talented and very well spoken. Props for him.
Man, kudos to the judges. They've seen magic world champions on the show and though they know Shoji's magic doesn't stack up to them (yet) and that he'll never win this season, they were 100% supportive of him. That's so wholesome! This will be the moment that drives him to become a huge name in the industry
More convincing that he's not wearing a long-sleeved shirt. Big props!
But his shirt does have a pocket,
which is where the coin 'disappears' in the 3rd coin trick. :)
(Notice he never brings it back after that).
He's really good though for 9 years old, a natural talent.
@@Stickyburrs haha! Good catch.
@@Stickyburrs wow. Thanks for the reveal.
For the 1st one, I really got fascinated how he hid thecoin in his fingers!
Any ideas for the cards part? I think there were 2 Q.spades and handed one to Howie and brought one to the top (here should be the main sleight of hands wrt his weird hands 😅)
I cant know tbh :)
Anyway his confidence is phenomenal. I still can't talk in public in my 28th yr :))
@@Stickyburrs yeah, from the camera point of View you can see were the coin goes all 3 times yet, all were different options
@@MrPeter13th yes, I like how it looks like the coins on his wrist on the second one, by the way he's holding his hands up.
He's really good though, had to go frame by frame to catch those all.
this made me tear up, he’s precious! love this so much
Me too Vivian I love him
Who else loves Howies way of always playing along like a happy kid? I bet he is very excited for christmas morning and presents.
He’s one of my favorite judges on any of these talents shows. All round...😊
I'm a 30 years old magician and I was not that good when I was twice his age 👏 I see no sneaky magic gimmicks being used, just pure skill. Well done, kid! 😎👍
That’s a kind comment and put all the non magicians criticising him in their place.
Respect to you and your comment. 19 year old magician and I remember when I learned my first trick at 7 years old. I wish I had the confidence this boy had to do this.
Thanks for a kind and thoughtful comment from an actual magician…
That's, not kid man
You are 30 year old kid😂
2:30
This kid didn't know that Howie didn't like to be touched.
😂🇮🇩
Hahahaaha yeah! 🤣
Hahahaha
And Heidi's response to him avoiding Shoji's hand lol
Probably because he suffers from OCD.
@@lisacrosier8951 Yup precisely. That's the point. The kid just didn't know it.
His face when Simon was about to vote 🤣
The real magic here is this little man. Great potential.
I think this kid is gonna be the next Shim Lim or Eric Chen.
😂🇮🇩
May be he can be better than those men
↖︎ Let's be healed by watching the video💕
I think this kid is Shim Lim. It's Shim Lim new Magic trick, time travel ;)
Everywhere I go I see that's flag
He is the next shoji☺
Not bad at all. He's already got most of the moves down pretty smooth.
His slight of hand was pretty cute mane. Real classic mixed with his hero. From finger holds of the quarter to the illusion of giving the top card to Howie. Loved it all
I started doing magic when I was 7, but I wasn’t doing this kind of sleight of hand at the age of 9. Magicians or hobbyists will respect what he did even more than lay people. That was difficult sleight of hand and he did a great job. Go Shoji!
Exactly most of these people cant suffle cards and they are saying easy magic hahaha
When this kid got teary eyes i got teary eyes.

Cutest little boy ever! He made me cry wen he cried
cute boy
How are you doing Rozay?
This kids stage presentation & delivery was beautiful. Good on him for coming on to the show.
I love how the editor use the right music background at the right moment. It made me goosebumps.
also look at how his face lit up when he got his first yes from simon!!! he really wasnt expecting any of judges to like his act that much. such a sweet and humble boy
Even his moves not so clean enough, but for 9 years old kid, that was amazing. He will improve and become the next shin lim 😀
True
Can u ro do what he do 🤣🤣
For a 9 year old, he is already very good.
ua-cam.com/video/2s3qGhTMbMU/v-deo.html
His charm and confidence made it incredible
Oh man I hate this Covid stuff it really looks like the judges and Terry really wanted to give him a hug when he was crying
This kid is breaking Asian barriers , I still can't even talk to a girl at 30 yrs old and this kid is on stage at 9 yrs lol
What asian barriers
WTF is asian barriers?
@@scottthebot2779 that they are quiet soft spoken nerdy book engineer doctor .
@@scottthebot2779 what he meant by asian barriers is that some asians, dont have the confidence and socially awkward in front of many people.. most cases are japanese millenials whi cant even speak to a girl, one of the reasons their population is dwindling
When I was 9 years old, I cried if I have to perform in front of audiences like these.
For just 9 years old his confidence and skill set is amazing.
he is literally the cutest omg
Mad respect for this boy. I've done magic for 10 years now and even though these tricks arent like the magician that's been on the show before but his courage and talent is growing so fast.
Awesome Magician! I loved his confidence and humility ... Bravo Shoji!
I respect how humble he is. I bet Shin would love to meet him.
He's so charming and super cute🥰
His skills are amazing for his young age. I hope he sticks with it because he's already very, very good.
He’s so cute!!!!! He looks like a cartoon with that cute voice and chubby cheeks!☺️❤️
What a wonderful little boy! Such personality. Adorable manners. Awesome talent. Just loved him.
if he already knows how to do that at just 9 years old.. you already know he’s gonna do big, amazing things when he gets older ahh!
I absolutely fell involve with this boy!! He got such raw talent & just how adorable he is, is an added bonus! Hobestly too loved too how much it meant to him, his inspirations, and so on. Really looking forward to him making it far!
Also, this kids really gotta try the quanecada tacos near my area - got my vote when he threw in!
Hello Marie
He is so adorable, confident and charming.
I love how the judges are going along with it and acting surprised. You've got to start somewhere and I'm sure as he learns more, he will become amazing. He did very well especially giving that he's nine.
Anyone else fascinated at the Asian Magicians? Shin Lim, Eric Chien, Patrick Kun, Shoji. Kid is going to perform great magic & make an elephant appear & disappear!
9 year old kid does magic tricks on AGT
Me when I was 9 I used to search for spiders to become spiderman
I just spit my coffee, dude. Lol!
😂😂😂 I laugh so hard
Wow, you are brave! I have arachnophobia so spiders are like ghosts to me.
😂😂😂😂😂
He is so precious. 😭
That killer wink of Heidi ❤
I couldn't imagine that the coin disappeared and came back again with cleaning hands and arms. Really, that little boy is talented
U have to learn a lot dear
The double lift was easy to see, idk how he did the coin trick, but just his stage presence at 9 is a W!!! 💯
Only if you actually know the technique, which I don't. What is a double lift?
The kid is 9 performing in front of celebrities and a MASSIVE crowd. It's pretty easy to screw up a double lift when you're nervous. That smoothness is something you develop over time
This little magician really wowed the judges with his good performance, I really like
cutest audition this season !
His stage presence and the confidence he showcased are the real magic. Truly wonderful young lad!
When he said these cards were made by shin lim, you might know him. I laughed out loud and idk why lmaooo. Kids got more confidence and stage presence then most grown ups i know. He even acknowledged he’s not nearly as good as others. Humble yet confident. Rooting for you shoji!
Even a 9 year old boy is better than those singers...
Exactly
And they always have the golden buzzer
Well they always have background story that make us more sympathetic to them. Not that I mind
Those singers who got the Golden Buzzer are actually really good
@@surahatakonateh4892 ikr it upset me awhile ago with the singer that sang tommorow like he was average at best

Little shin lim version 😩💜💜
Thankyou America for give a chance to every race in the world.
9 years old yet full of potential even though his routine was simple. He might even make a building disappear and reappear in the future
Here's a nine year old who acts and has politeness beyond his years.
For his second trick, his double flip is very smooth. It is not easy to master.

I love the way that Howie said to him to be careful because of the stairs😆😍🧡

Hahahaaaa
Such a sweet little cute boy, I feel like crying seeing those happy tears in his eyes,
God blesss you babyyy 💖🤗
What a sweetheart !!! It is so refreshing to see a child who has such beautiful manners...
Oh boy, the confidence, at 31 I still can't stand in front of 10people without suffering anxiety,
I know how he did these tricks and so do a lot of people but his slight of hand is what has to be appreciated, 2 years of practice and he, a fast learner, has learnt everything damn fast.
If.you knew can you please show us how??? Lol🤣
@@thehenrich6171 so basically he put the first card on top of the of the second card, and he showed everyone, and then when giving Howie, he removed the overlapping card and kept it with him, and gave the card he would pick in the end
Yes even if it is basic, for a kid to learn like that is already so impressive. Can you imagine how good he can be when he grows up?
2:10. Simon and Heidi put a smile, when Shin Lim name mentioned
The hug from dad sealed the deal for me. Tear wreck right here
Although the card trick was a 'simple' one, and a little bit rough around the edges - AGT may have just kicked off his magic career. He'll be back as a teen and will blow our socks off.
