About Lost in Space: The Robinson family was supposed to set off on a five-year mission to explore a distant planet, but an act of sabotage by the scheming Dr. Zachary Smith -- who managed to get himself trapped aboard the spaceship -- leaves them adrift in space for three years. The Robinsons, pilot Don West, Dr. Smith and their trusty robot move from planet to planet, always searching for a way to return to Earth.

In my opinion the appearance of the green woman is one of the very best of the series. That's saying a lot too, because there's so many! The best television show of all time!
Nobody can quite scream like Doctor Smith!! ( especially when he is caught off guard)
Vitina Marcus will turn 87 on March 1st. Those were were some pretty great scenes between her and Jonathan Harris in this episode. Later on in Season 2 she makes another guest appearance on the Robinsons planet. I just saw her on a guest appearance on a 1962 episode of Gunsmoke. She played the love interest to Frank Sutton who became Sergeant Carter on Gomer Pyle later on.
This must have been when Bob was walking the robot suit instead of it on his treads.
