Gday Stu, great overview there mate. The Promised Planet is one of my fav eps. I love all the eps that feature the J2 in flight, hence S3 is pretty special. I can forgive the GVR episode, it made the series that much more famous. Any publicity is good publicity as they say👍
Thanks for watching my video. Yes, the J2 in flight episodes were special.....the childhood memories of LIS ....those afternoon screenings of the reruns....
@@StuartRaweakaStuOz oh yes, the arvo eps after I got home from school too 👍 We were very blessed growing up in better times I reckon. I drive a silver Jeep Commander which (you guessed it) is named Chariot 😁 my little slice of childhood haha 👍👍

Marcel Hillaire. Had more recognition as the junkman in his 2nd guest appearance. His 1st was he played Mr. Fanzig on the 3rd season premiere being one of thousands of frozen prisoners on a prison ship.
He was also a professor of French at Princeton U, Frederic OBrady. I took a course fall of 69, then a grad seminar, 2th century theater. He invited me into his home after that...the seminar was just a conversation between the two of us. Was in many movies and tv shows, from Sabrina in54 to a 2 part Get Smart in last season. I had a HORRIBLE nightmare, back around 1970. 'The Great Spock's Brain Rebellion.' Zacherle showed up and replaced Spocks' missing brain with a cauliflower.
I love voyage even with the silly monsters and crazy plots because it was the Seaview crew who made it work for me . Voyage did not focus on one person like lost did. The Dr. Smith character became the star and he was a total jerk.
Thanks for watching. I like Voyage, Lost in Space, The Time Tunnel and just about any Irwin Allen production....with the exception of Alice in Wonderland (1985). Thanks again.

Most of the Black and White early episodes of Lost In Space were very well written. When it switched to color, only Hunters Moon was well written.
