  • Hi guys, in this video, I try to flip a Corsa for profit.
Before telling you how much I made from this trade, let's see how everything started.
I went online on this auction website and found a dirty Corsa from 2008.
Saw that similar cars are selling for 5000-6000 euros, and the last bid on the car was 2600, so I decided to place a bid for 2686 euros.
The next day I received an email with an invoice and a message saying I had won the auction. After that, I went back to see why I ended up
    winning the auction.
I missed some essential things, like the fact that the car had five previous owners and the AC compressor was broken. Because of the broken compressor, I had to reduce 350 euros from the sale price when I negotiated with the buyer, so I paid attention to all the details.
Even so, I decided to keep the car, knowing the profit margin was high.
Getting the car to the workshop costs me 150 euros.
    Repairing and cleaning:
After a quick inspection, I decided to change the front rotors and pads, flex pipe, rear shock absorbers, coil springs, and an exhaust rubber mount and do a new service. All these parts cost me around €351. I also ordered a new battery, rear window handles, and the handbrake leather gaiter for an extra €125.
There were signs that the car had been sitting for a long time and not being driven. The interior was a disaster. It was filthy and smelled very bad. This was good because I knew I could clean it and make it look brand new.
To clean the plastic and upholstery, I used just a multi-purpose cleaner. Then, I applied a good quality dressing to bring back the original shine.
I am delighted with the result I got the car looked like new again.
Everything I did in this car took somewhere around seven hours.
    Selling:
After I took some professional pictures I placed an ad with the price of 4900 euros, I intended to make around 1000 euros profit.
The ad was on the internet for three days. During this time, I received a lot of emails, many as I offer you 2000, what is the last price? Or things like: I will help you get rid of the car for 2500 :))
On the third day, this guy showed up to see the car. He seemed very interested and told me he wanted to buy the vehicle for his girlfriend (big mistake :)).
He asked me if I was willing to sell the car for 4200. I said that my limit is somewhere around 4700. After he discovered that the AC compressor was not working, knowing that the repair cost about 500-600 euros, I told him I would sell the car for 4550 if he became a subscriber.
He didn't give me an answer right away. Said he would think about it and let me know the next day.
The next day called me and said he wanted to buy the car.
And that's what happened. The guy came and made the contract and payment.
Both of us were happy. I made a little profit, and he ended up buying a clean car in perfect working condition(except for the AC :))

Regarding parts and efforts you invested, an excellent job! The result looks extremely good and in my opinion is absolutely worth the price you called. Regarding the time you took, I expected a slightly higher price to be called.
I think, you did a lot more than typical traders do, because you even replaced parts, that should be replaced by you own opinion.
Summed up, I am very impressed.

In Germany every older Vehicle has to go to a car check every two years including emissions test, which this Corsa was likely to have failed because of the flex pipe. The brakes aswell are a reason to not get another two years of TÜV.
Therefore, doung everything so the car will get through the TÜV a couple of times is something buyers look out for.

a lot of work, also for editing :).. the anti-glare coating removal just blew my mind. I didn't even know it was possible. I wish I knew this when I bought my old opel astra h 8 years ago. What kind of tool and products did you use? thx and keep it up.
