I usually listen on audio but I just wanted to provide some feedback. I really liked this episode a lot and think it is the best one you've done since the rebranding to The Inforium. It shows the growth and maturity that you guys have gone through during the last few years. Martin has this confidence about him lately that shows he has made a large mindset shift since moving. I'm about 8-10 years older than you guys (I'm 39) but I'm in around the same place in life as you guys even though I'm older. I think that is why I like The Inforium so much, you guys are talking about where you are in your lives, and listeners can relate to it because we are either in that time in our own lives, or have been there. Keep up the good work. It is refreshing to hear a podcast from two normal guys attempting to navigate life without creating sensationalist content.

This was EXTREMELY helpful. Now, I enjoy looking at my "list" of things to do and seeing which things give me a good feeling and a knowing that I can actually do them. If something seems too complex, then I just isolate a very small part of the task and put it on today's list. I am enjoying not being so fragmented. This was your first video I watched. Loved the subtle humor. THANKS!

I feel the same way as Martin about books. They all need to be digested.
And I also really, really need to keep in mind the "What is truly necessary in a day ?". This is... well, necessary. I'm going to make a piece of paper with that and hang it somewhere.
Appart from that, thanks for the podcast ! I don't listen to them often but when I do, it always feels like a friendly interesting talk : I feel at ease, learning, while having a good time and juste quietly and calmly thinking. I actually probably feel kinda like you both felt when you were doing the podcast.
    It's a wonderful feeling.

The part about the feeling of succeeding or not hit really hard. I guess this really influences me a lot, if I know I can do it or not.

Just making sure that overwhelming is not a dramatizing word or a irresponsible excuse of pure laziness, unless you physically working 3 jobs a day and those are all dealing with people one on one...you can not, like, overwhelmingfrom too much studying for example, you get bore...

Random Q: Do you both have the same model of piano/keyboard behind you, or am I just seeing things?

Nearly identical - Martin has the model right above mine. I think mine is the CA78 from Kawai, and he's got the CA98 which is the same but adds a soundboard on the back which makes the speakers more resonant. I'm more concerned with keyboard feel and tend to replace the output with VSTs using the MIDI out, so I opted to save a few bucks! -Thomas

Good episode! I really liked what you said about delegating/letting go of opportunities to fill that human need for competence, because probably you already are more competent at something else! Also, I may have asked before, but have you guys thought about a partnership/crossover with How to ADHD? I’ve been listening to Thomas and Martin for years, but as my ADHD symptoms became more pronounced and I got a diagnosis, I felt a mild disconnect with their advice- like “ahh, I just don’t think this stuff’ll work for me anymore.” It would be so cool to hear you chat with an ADHD expert about building systems specifically for ADHD brains.
