Speaking of Strong Towns - you might enjoy the UA-cam channel "Not Just Bikes". He's a Canadian who moved to the Netherlands and his perspective - if you're already reading Strong Towns, you probably know a lot of it so it's more of a pleasant watch as opposed to information dense.
Martin, I totally understand about trying to make long term solutions! I finally realized it was my way of trying to "control" the world around me. The more anxious I felt about how things were going in my life, the more I would try to create the perfect routine. But I was never satisfied... Either I failed miserably at the routine, or if I succeeded at the "perfect" day, I felt trapped and suffocated. I've been working on letting it go... Now at the beginning of the day I pray and give my day to God. I still have a list of things I want to accomplish, but I've come to accept that it might not all happen. And not feeling like I have to be in control has helped me a lot! Anyways I just wanted to share. I hope you're able to find some solutions that help with your present day Martin!
Re: Anxiety going to the gym. ... Break it down into the smallest steps. Put on gym clothes. Go to the door of the gym. Go inside. Which activity will you do first? ... The thing that gets rid of anxiety is practice. Practice the things that don't make you anxious. Getting dressed doesn't make me anxious. Going to the door of the gym, might... So I go when there won't be anyone there. I touch the door handle and leave... If that's all I can do great! I go home and play back the video in my head and (this is important) I tell myself how nothing happened. What ever I was anxious about didn't happen... Or if it did happen, it wasn't bad. I survived and I can survive. ... Usually, I can do more. I planned to touch the door and leave, but in the moment, I go inside. I maybe walk around or even do 30 seconds on that treadmill before I have to leave, but I always go home and process my anxiety... I did great, there was nothing to worry about... It was easier than I thought. The processing makes it so you get through the steps faster. Sending lots of love ❤ from sunny 🌅 Arizona 🌵. 😷
It's funny how the first thing I thought was: "Martin should have a black background to match Thomas's and wear a palpatine robe". And immediately you guys started talking about starwars
Hey Thomas, Martin and team! I too am looking into biking as a method of commuting, however my old walmart bike is not cutting it. I am looking into an e-bike, would you recommend yours?
Hey Frank! You look exhausted! Take some rest and take care of yourself, it's the best productivity advice possible 🥰
The most inforomious episode of The Inforium yet, I do declare!
But for real this was awesome!
The same guy who did Samurai Jack did indeed do the Clone Wars series. Gendy Taskavarksy

Thomas has a Steve Jobs type outfit, love it!
Steve Jobs was such a jerk, I was really disappointed when I learned more about that, but the aesthetic is def dope
