- My Oregon Hobby Shop tour comes to a bitter sweet close in the finale! On the last day, we visit two spots - RC Nuts Hobby Shop, Florence and 721 Powersports in Lakeside, OR. From RC surfers, dune basher builds, to wrap around indoor rock crawler courses, we check out these family centered shops on the scenic Oregon coast.

Tammies hobbies in Beaverton Oregon. They've been around for fifty years i've been going there for forty five. I bought my very first airplane from a guy who still works there. They have a huge selection of RC cars. Airplanes. And stuff you don't find anywhere else. Rockets and trains.

Thanks for the videos, Hayley, makes me really miss RC racing, I got my first hobby grade car in 1989, a JRX2 I still have, and started racing in the early 90's. Ran off road, on road, but oval was always my favorite. Our hobby shop and track closed a few years ago, and things just haven't been the same. I have a couple of crawlers, but no crawling events in my area. But I still have a shop full of cars and equipment, and they bring fond memories. Met some amazing people along the way, and there's even still a couple of the races I was in, won one, still on UA-cam. Anyways thanks for all you do!
Finales are hard but your views of Hobby Shops felt like walking in , right behind you . Old unpractised manners of holding the door open. 😊 Wished more fellow Utubers would highlight Shops in their State , we need more of that and not surprised you did such a great Job @ it. 😊

Some cool.R/C shops, love the R/C shop tour you did and hopefully you can do more, I would love to have my own small R/C shop, even if it was just a part time thing, I really enjoy R/C....love fixing them for people!!!!

Love the Florence area. Spent many vacations up there riding the dunes and spending time in the town. Mo's is the best! Awesome that you went through there!!!
I wish I could have spent more time there for sure! The RC Nuts wanted to take me out on the dunes but it was a busy schedule that day visiting two shops. Will definitely be back

I’m getting close to quitting the hobby all together. Beyond so much hate and negativity towards women in the hobby is beyond bearable sometimes. Almost all my RC stuff has custom parts that is designed and built by me. I’ve designed parts for aftermarket companies they use but then get told to my face my work is garbage and cannot accept a woman has designed anything whatsoever in the hobby. The recent flood of hatred out of nowhere by people trying to turn the hobby into a political hunting ground and the repeated attacks as I try to stay calm and respectful has all but broken me! They have made it nearly impossible to work in the hobby at all as they went out of their way costing me multiple jobs and projects and I was forced to scrap nearly 100 new products and designs ready to be designed and sent and tested through the proof of concept stage and made available to the public 💔 I’m glad you’re doing better than me and keep up the great work and hope you are able to keep spreading the love of the hobby. I just can’t take much more abuse myself.

Another thing I would add is just - if you enjoy RC, then do it anyway! don't engage with the haters online. Keep shopping your parts and experience around. I know there are some good brands and companies out there supporting women in the hobby. Stay away from those that don't!

IDK what your talking about, there are tons a ladies in the hobby, the evidence is all over. And you'd quit something you love because of other people? Usually men love it when women show interest in the things they like. Maybe your LHS don't like you, who knows, maybe they're just jerks?

I guess if you have a sponsored youtube channel you can afford to go to actual hobby shops. Plus the hobby shops in South FLA are run but old angry people. For me I am stuck with Banggood and HobbyKing!!!
Yeah I think you need to do more tours around the country first before you go all over the world.
