Wow, yeah. Its head does, right? It was definitely a Slug snake though. But you had me doubting myself for a second. I just checked back over the original footage, and yes it is 100% Pareas atayal, Slug-eating Snake (鈍頭蛇). Haha
Awesome, do it. Let me know how it goes. Though I always find night hikes take much longer because you end up stopping to look at everything haha. 10km would take me all night lol
I live near the temple and go through the same trail several times but never dare to walk at night considering those dogs and boars, so I really admire your courage.didnt you get scared? or you take yourself as a part of the nature😂.I have passion to nature and those beautiful animals as well but most of them are nocturnal so it is satifying to see them from your sight.btw, the park also features some rare mammals including pangolin, civet, urva which I never have a chance to see.I'll leave it to you!
I have seen pangolin holes up there. Yet to find the animal itself though. I have seen Masked Palm Civets up there, but not the other ones. A lot of cool stuff up there. You are lucky to live close. I wish I could just walk up there any night of the week and be close to home.
Great job!
Really cool video. Makes we want to visit Taiwan
When COVID is over, hopefully you can.
Beautiful snake night.

11:33 It looks like Square-head Snake (大頭蛇)

Yeah, one day lol. Need to do some trips like that in Yunnan too.
