I get the same quality muskies down here in Tennessee. It's like a little secret club on a tiny little creek half the size of the creek you are fishing. I catch a lot of 30 to 40 inchers but every now and then a giant comes along. 51in is my pb. Get a sit on top it makes it alot easier.
Haha thanks, wouldn’t that be fun ? Look up “tiger musky” - I only caught one small one on the channel so far but that’s what you get when you cross pike and musky ..
Beautiful huge fish from a likely overlooked stream. Really hope you can get a fishing kayak sometime with foot pedal propulsion so you can simply stow the paddle.
When I get I fish in a tend to hold the end or near of my rod and hold the line it's way easier to get them too the net, mind you I fish brown and rainbow trout in New Zealand, and I also have a little trout net, but stil
I love how when you hook Muskies outta that little kayak, your kayak just flies straight to the fish in about a second! 😂😂 Awesome video man, keep it up 👍
Great Fish for what you where fishing in. Where does this lead to a lake or river. To get that big it has to have quite the abundance of Fish to eat or it migrates to much deeper water and Fish don't feel hooks they have no nerve endings in their mouth.
I hear you but I just measured on google maps and there’s over 15 miles of creek before it dumps into a larger water body with mostly extremely shallow water in between. Id be very surprised if it goes back and forth. As crazy as it sounds I think it just got that big in the creek
I bought a back up and honestly the old one has a high pitched squeak when it’s runnin that the new one doesn’t…I think it’s from getting hammered so many times! 😂
@@absoluteunitmedia you will find that from time to time you happen to get “the one” with baits, it’s a 1 in 100 or 1 in 1000 lure that just has something weird or off about it and it just gets chewed, that FB you got us def one of those. I have a flap that has 3-4 fish on it, got another one as a backup, doesn’t even sound close to the same so I just sold it knowing it would never get thrown.
My hero I see you using that plopper lure that lure is famous world wide some dude caught a big juicy catfish with that lure on UA-cam they call it the Loch Ness Monster.
Free spooling as in I clicked the free spool button as if I was gonna cast and the just applied resistance with my thumb. It’s because for musky fishing (casting not trolling) you often have the drag all the way tight for hooksets and getting them in quick. But if u get a real big one pulling hard at boat side u either have to loosen the drag during the fight, or do the free spool thing
I didn’t freespool the last time I had a fish that big in the kayak and the rod broke: CRAZIEST MUSKY BATTLE EVER!!! MONSTER FISH! ua-cam.com/video/Hn4dIDtJESE/v-deo.html
@@austinnelson5342 no not really...the bigger issue is the big lures. like if a lure has too much resistance like a bucktail or jerkbait it pulls the boat forward and it's basically impossible to use.
so is it true that catching muskie and pike in warm water over 70° can possibly kill them? I'd ask if you ever came back the next day and seen one belly up but I don't expect a answer.
Been there done that with the net. My biggest kayak muskie is around 42 to 43 inches what a rush. Be selfish keep from telling people about your creeks to yourself or minimum amount of close friends.👍
What a beauty. I didn't think solo net jobs got any sketchier than mine but I was wrong lol
😂 ya it was a rough one
🤣🤣🤣
That's a really nice one even in the northern big waters! Congrats bro! Keep castin'
Thanks brother
Love these videos! I fish a lot of small rivers in Wisconsin but I’ve never got one that big, nothing more fun than hooking one in a yak
Thank you!
Congratulations on winning that battle and a safe release of a beautiful fish. Awesome job!
Thank you!
Mr. Amazing! What can I say. Nice work dude!!
Thanks man!
Got that kayak up on plane 😂. Congrats on that giant!

Bravo from Paris. Great fight and awesome maski 💪😎

I just like that this cheap one fits in my car, no need for a roof rack or trailer
Nice!!! Really nice!!!!
Congrats on that unit man!
Thanks man!
Amazing vid! That took some extreme skill landing that first fish and it looked like you nailed it!!
Haha thank you I’m learning
Great catch.
Thanks!
Nice battle and nice release. Cracker of a fish.
Thanks!
That’s a good spot you are at and those fish do get pressure there. There’s a good bit of guys that regularly drift those spots.
Ah ok ya it looked like it got use I just didn’t know if there’s many musky fishermen
where in PA is this if u dont mind me asking, im from New castle. if u want u can delete right after so not many people see. thanks very mcuh
Wow! Great fish!
Thanks!

Ya I have a feeling grabbing the line would be a big mistake in this case 😂
Awesome video, I’m from new castle so it’s really cool seeing you pull these hogs. Hoping to get into Muskie fishing myself soon.
Thanks brother I appreciate it. They’re out there
I love how when you hook Muskies outta that little kayak, your kayak just flies straight to the fish in about a second! 😂😂 Awesome video man, keep it up 👍
Haha I know right? Thanks man
Lmao. That's a plus!
Another great video. Loving your content bro
Thanks man! Can’t wait to make more stuff like this in spring. Ice fishing in the meantime
That fish was dragging that kayak like it was nothing.
Dude you just take off like a rocket in that thing lol.
Great stuff man. Congrats
Thanks 🙏
If I guess the creek, will you tell me if I'm right? 🤣jkjk. Nice fish, man!
Lol please don’t! Thanks man!
Keep downsizing the kayak.. what's next... pool floaties and a bamboo pole? LOL
Great fish!
😂 thanks man
Great vid
I seriously scream at my phone watching these!
I know it must be intense trying to maneuver but man it was literally in the net !!!!
😂 😂 I know!! It was just awkward to one arm lift the net up from that position
@absoluteunitmedia been going out alot learning my kayak, in October I'll be targeting these. Couldn't imagine controlling them with one arm
Sick Video ,,, thanks for the entertainment. 👍
No problem

This really is more wrestling than fishing
Really nice fish dude! Have you bought a lock box for that FB yet? If not I would consider investing if I were you lol!

what exactly is free spooling? when you mentioned he didnt break your rod because you knew to free spool

nice vid deff enjoyed n subbed -ben
Thanks I appreciate it
What rod and reel are you using? I've been looking for a combo that would be nice for kayak fishing big baits like these. Also great work man
Thanks man!
Rod: 8 ft st croix legend tournament “top n tail” (MH power, fast action)
reel: Shimano tranx 400HG with 100 lb braid plus steel leader
@@absoluteunitmedia do you find casting and handling the 8 ft in a kayak harder than a 7

No. You’re thinking of 80. And they say that mainly about musky not pike..
New here, big fish bro
Thanks bro 🙏

What county are you in?
I can’t say that on here man!! I hope you understand
Beaut
Whopper popper?
Similar. It’s a lake x lures fat bast*rd
You should get a rope to keep from losing your paddle
