If you’re fishing for a handful of particularly sought after fish species but you aren’t able to completely enforce a catch limit then you’re inevitably going to diminish the population of those fish species up to the point of potentially driving them to extinction. Given that, how is it strange to say it’s a waste to not eat a more numerous, quickly reproducing, visually undesirable but nutritionally adequate species? Doubly so if you consider how much of a conga eel is edible compared to a normal fish

I wouldn’t mind being yelled at by Gordon, all he’s trying to do is help you improve by being serious enough for you to snap out of it and get shit done. All you have to do is respect and think him as a USA military sergeant, but for a kitchen. So anyone who does become a student for Gordon, it’s okay to be yelled at, you just have to understand he wants you wake up and do your job.
