My only request would be pullup proof in every instance you told us you could 🤣 absolutely stunning job. I knew this would beaRAD build (see what I did there), but had no idea the level of quality you'd be able to produce. This motivates me to start a machine shop! I mean holy cow, endless capabilities. Looking forward to the next one!
Your attention to detail satisfied my ocd. I just love the At no inch was wasted and everything was double or triple secured and everything is so tight fitting. No shortcuts were taken and I love it! I hope one day to do the same thing but in my own way.
Battleborn and Victron FTW! I have a slew of Victron stuff along with two Battleborns in my truck camper. Looks like your BBs are the heated versions, which didn't exist when I bought mine back in 2018.
Haha a good kitchen cabinet you can! You gotta think, this thing will be getting twisted and slammed down the road for hundreds of thousands of miles…gotta be sturdy!
Frames for the skylights? I'm a lot jealous of the tools you have available and your skill with them. The fit on the hard plastic T-nut was crazy good. Can't wait to see whats next.
Man your attention to detail is so refreshing to see. So many poorly done builds out there. As a former tool maker turned cabinet maker, I applaud you! It's looking great so far. If your door hinges are still too slow for your liking I would shut one of the soft close off. There should be a very small switch/slide that will shut it off. I know Blum products best but generally there is.
Bungee net, a long one normally used in the back of a truck cab Use it along the counter top back wall. Keep things on the counter held in place while driving.
This build is the first time watching you, the build already looks amazing 👍🏻👌🏻 those joints and screws you made was incredible 🥵 that would take a life time for me to learn 🤣❤️🇬🇧
My word he's done it again! He's surmounted the trials and tribulations of Adobe Premier and emerged with a narrative documentary that is, by all accounts, sick as frick
This is awesome! Love the attention to detail. Are you planning on adding some sort of locking mechanism to the cabinet doors? From experience those things love to fly open when the contents inside fall over.
16:48 On many soft-close hinges you can turn the soft-close mechanism on and off. For example, on Blum soft-close hinges there is a little tiny slider bar you can push with a fingernail. If you turn off the soft-close feature on one hinge per door, they will close faster. Very cool build. Thanks for sharing!
It definitely helps in some cases but I assure you, there’s always “another” way to do everything shown. 95% of this build has been done with a cordless skill saw and drill/driver. The frames could easily be outsourced to a lazier cutting shop (which I actually would have done if not for the time constraint). The bed hinge mounts and brackets can be made with a cheap drill press or even a cordless handheld…although I’ve grown up around all the nice equipment, there are many instances I/we have had to use the “primal” tools to get the job done. I have to thank my dad for always teaching me creative techniques to get things done when you don’t have the ideal tool for the job. But yeah, considering I have access to it, I’m sure as hell gonna utilize it 😂
Super impressive build man. I hope this doesn't mean you're closing down fantasy land! Wasn't able to make it out last summer sadly, life got in the way and I barely put a couple hours on my new 450R. If you ever need stuff custom designed and 3d printed for the van or some gadget ideas programmed let me know! I don't do it as a business, just love building cool stuff!
Love the build looks great an love the videos when they come out wish there were more but hey I can't do anything besides say something. Hope to see a bunch a riding videos soon! Keep it up an will be hitting the store up asap for parts for my 07 yz 250 I'm rebuilding for a woods an trail weapon.
They are not done yet 😊. Well, they are now, but not as the videos show haha. I went with aluminum tabs but I do like the idea of the indents or whatever…maybe next build I’ll do that!
Looks Great, Man! I'm No Expert But I'd Call It A High End Conversion. What Is Your Estimate Of How Much It Reduces The Load Carrying Capacity? Thank You.
it might not be the same for you but in the UK a 350 transit has a max weight of 3.5 tons.... I think your work isbeautiful but I m worried abought the weight ! Hope I am wrong ! x
You guys must not get the HD here or this wheelbase length of 178”? Of course the box itself weighs a lot. The build is done, it drives great 😊 at the limit of GVWR however, yes.
BeRAD - gotta love that SPYDER Tarantula blade on your circular saw. Our head product guy is a dirt/trials guy and has been following you for a few years now - he has his second Transit (turbo, AWD) on order. A few years ago, we built a bunch of trials moto ramps: ua-cam.com/video/HeSIAEj8BD8/v-deo.html Thanks for choosing our blade and shopping at Lowe's!
The blade is fantastic!! I was actually having a lot of issues with my 1/2” finished Baltic birch delaminating. Switched to that blade and it did much better! The wood was junk….was still peeling but that’s because they apparently didn’t use enough glue. No fault of the blade!

The build quality on this is as nice or nicer than any of the professional conversions/builds I've seen.
My biggest gripe with a lot of the “professional” builds is how horribly not practical they are. Many lack storage space and accessibility to items.
Very impressive! What a blessing to be able to do this with your father 🤘
Absolutely is 😊. He’s taught me so much and continues to every time we work on something together!
This is my second time around watching this build, one year hence! Incredible build and really great series!!!
Thank you so much!
This is such a good setup!!!

Former welder/fabricator. Love your attention to detail and quality of work. Very well done! 👍
This precision makes me so happy.
I like how the strenth of the components are measured by the ability to do pull ups from them... as if you could do that with normal kitchen cabinets
Haha a good kitchen cabinet you can! You gotta think, this thing will be getting twisted and slammed down the road for hundreds of thousands of miles…gotta be sturdy!

You got it right! They look soooo good. Holds up the greenhouse panel and trims it out nicely.

WOOOOOOW. Your lighting answer is amazing. BRAAAAAAP
Thanks a lot! I’m in love with it.
The attention and effort to make it look nice and not just functional 💯🤌🏻
Exactly!

Hahaha it was a battle that’s for sure!
Your dad is awesome 👌
No doubt about it!

I cant wait for the next one!
Awesome build man wish I had that life style to do it.
Loving the build so far, it is looking really good.
Thanks!
WOW.... Brilliant job 🙌🏼
Very nice work! Box gang!
this van is becoming and absolute fucking unit and I love how its coming out. keep up the vids man!
Great job on the video! Thanks for making it.

Yeah I got the cheap one. I don’t believe you can grunt it off. I like the soft close, it’s just a bit slow. I’ve grown used to it.
You guys did a great job, I’d love to have something like this for my son and I to travel and ride!
Everything is for sale…😜
Amazing job and video ! Lucky Dad had a machine shop and so many tools to do a professional custom build. 💯😁

For the cabinets put one soft close hinge and one normal close hinge and it will make it better
Amazing customization and attention to every detail. I hope I have the honor to see this in person someday. Great job!
Have you explored the idea of a battery powered pressure washer? Would hate to load up a dirty bike into the fresh van!
Super jelly man. I've been looking for a vid like this for a while. On the hunt for a van. Lower budget though.
Living the dream
Great build
This is fantastic!!!!

You have to be the best rider brad! You encouraged me to race but my bike broke 😅

Keep up the great work
Absolutely love this series ❤️
Looks great
Awesome. You better have a 3D printer stored somewhere! Just Incase you need to make that small plastic part that breaks
I’ve got spares 😊
Nice work... constructive criticism ... route some finger pulls in the bottom of the doors so they are easer to open.
They are not done yet 😊. Well, they are now, but not as the videos show haha. I went with aluminum tabs but I do like the idea of the indents or whatever…maybe next build I’ll do that!
love your videos berad your the goat
Sooo awesome!! Was wondering what you are going to use to keep the cabinet doors from being opened whilst driving?
Thank you! That will be revealed in either the next episode or the one after!
Lights up top
I’m so glad u didn’t knock fingers on that extra tall table blade height😅
That’s what the push stick is for! Lol
Looks Great, Man! I'm No Expert But I'd Call It A High End Conversion. What Is Your Estimate Of How Much It Reduces The Load Carrying Capacity? Thank You.
Thanks! I’m at GVWR fully loaded lol. It worked out just about right.
Need more 125 content pls🤘
Kind'of cheating with a machineshop but this is a dreambuild of mine.
