I heard this song when I was a teenager it took me years to find it again I'm now 58 so it been long time. Thankyou for such a fabulous song from Brendan.
RIP Brendan. A great singer and comedian. Always kept it clean. Never needed to use vulgarity to get all the laughs. Anytime we were feeling sad we could look at one of his comedies to cheer up. He will be sadly missed.
As a English man I think Brendon was a great entertainer, I can't get anough of him. I like irish music and comedy. Rest in peace Brendon you were one of the best, and will be greatly missed by your fans, friends and most of all your Family. I say this with the greatest respect. Rest in peace

It's hard to think of a world without Brendan in it. I've laughed until my sides hurt for as long as I can remember, all because of this wonderful man. But as this post proves he was also a very talented singer. He also played guitar. He was the most wonderful all round entertainer. Thanks for the memories, and the laughs, Brendan. God bless
Agree totally with Helen. Only 'found' Brendan this year. Love his music and his Irish skits are so wonderful."Taking the Mickey' is a favorite phrase here (New Zealand) and portrayed so beautifully in performances like 'The Wedding' "the Funeral' etc.
