Ya, i cant stop listening this music, when i hear, more better this music goes.
I grew up listening to Fleetwood & all the solo albums as they went through everything... timeless...
That's like me
The bass solo with the drums building up into the guitar solo is so clean

Yeah! Iam so excited for the song. It’s like a goosebumps in my ear
I was "today" years old when I learned that John McVie is playing a fretless bass on this song. Didn't realize that they existed back in 1976.
Anyone listening in 2024?
yes.
Yes
Ye
Dang right.
Nah
To think I fell in love with them by listening to this on a crappy A.M. car radio! Thank God I lived long enough for digital remastered recordings of all of Mac’s work. I’m crying…
The ability to remaster music is one thing, but personally I think being able to experience this album, or any of Fleetwood's music back in their glory days would have been better. But I'm only 25, so it seems to me that being able to experience any music before my time would feel a lot different than experiencing it today.
@@WastelandPimp Same age and I agree. There was a different authentic charm about music from this era that simply is no longer captured by today's artists it seems. Not to diminish anyone's talents, but I can only imagine the concert experience from then vs now...sigh.
As someone in their 30s, I have to disagree, something about the old recording and audio frequencies hits different.
Great statement I was born in 1975 but love these so much my parents got me hooked
Nice to hear you made it man, congrats!

The fact that I just found this song few weeks ago makes me angry , how many great songs are hiding out there ? will I ever find them ?
I highly recommend Jefferson starship(start with a song called white rabbit it’s a trip) or Cream both are fantastic, also Steve nicks the main female singer of fleetwood Mac also did a lot of solo work also fantastic, as I side note highly recommend you look into the history of this very album it’s called rumours for very good reason and every song has very real and deep meaning once you know it the songs take a very different light but don’t want to spoil that journey for you. Enjoy
Just listen to your local classic hits station and use Shazam to find the song and artist. That's what I would recommend nowadays. However I grew up listening to these tunes on the radio all the time, a good while before Shazam, and when UA-cam was in Infancy

You know this song was birthed through the break ups in the band. Pain makes powerful songs, especially when Fleetwood Mac is involved.
It’s funny you mention that because thanks to Guardians of the Galaxy and the fact I’ve been treated poorly by groups I thought I would fit in and belong to I associate this song with anger and that poor treatment. That’s the simple terms for that anyway.
In 1978 my brother taped what turned out to be the end of this track from the "Grand Prix," programme of BBC2, We were too underprivileged at that time to buy the album from whence this comes. Not many people know that this was used for formula 1. Kudos
@@biru4531It’s a double-edged sword, tbh babes. Any time I hear this song come on and it gets to the iconic bass - without fail - I find myself listening for the whining engines, the screams of the tires and the voice of Murray Walker. Fleetwood Mac were an exceptional band. Everyone was great.
I always listen to this song before major stressful events like exams or competitions. That bass line gives me strength…
For real, this song's use in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is the one of the best song choices in a series that knows how to choose songs.
Look at both times this song comes up (the Guardians are in turmoil and break up at first-and Starlord realizing that Ego's the villain and turning on him-basically realizing the Guardians were his real family). And then look at the history of Fleetwood Mac, specifically the extreme turmoil the band was in when they were making this album, with this song (the only song credited to all five members of Fleetwood Mac) being a perfect encapsulation of all of the drama that was tearing the band apart-and yet the band carried on and stayed together for about a decade afterward.
Poetic, almost you can say.
I read James Gunn chooses the music before anything else in the Guardians movies. Both have amazing soundtracks and grateful my son gets to experience them within that context and learn kick-ass music
