The ability to remaster music is one thing, but personally I think being able to experience this album, or any of Fleetwood's music back in their glory days would have been better. But I'm only 25, so it seems to me that being able to experience any music before my time would feel a lot different than experiencing it today.

@@WastelandPimp Same age and I agree. There was a different authentic charm about music from this era that simply is no longer captured by today's artists it seems. Not to diminish anyone's talents, but I can only imagine the concert experience from then vs now...sigh.

Sirius xm radio.... The deep tracks station is currently all FM with a focus on CM. it's freaking amazing. I've been a fan since about 1976 (I was 14)and I've been hearing tons of tracks that I either never heard or forgotten about.
That band. Dayum. And Christine was as integral a part of the songwriting, harmonies, performance, and vibes, of any of them.

Even when I know they’re not gonna be there the absence is jarring, like missing a step on your way downstairs.

For real, this song's use in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is the one of the best song choices in a series that knows how to choose songs.
Look at both times this song comes up (the Guardians are in turmoil and break up at first-and Starlord realizing that Ego's the villain and turning on him-basically realizing the Guardians were his real family). And then look at the history of Fleetwood Mac, specifically the extreme turmoil the band was in when they were making this album, with this song (the only song credited to all five members of Fleetwood Mac) being a perfect encapsulation of all of the drama that was tearing the band apart-and yet the band carried on and stayed together for about a decade afterward.

The more I listen to this the more I can understand why it's named this way. The amount of emotion and spirit put into this song makes it not need lyrics to make it's message clear.
Just like classical music, it's up to whoever listens to it to actually hear it.

This is a great song, but I personally wouldn't say it's the best song ever made. For example, "Love is the Message" by Yussef Dayes blew me away...

I was born early 70's and I remember how I so took this song to heart!! It made me so mad as a teenie bop when Fleetwood Mac broke up....I took it personally, I was like....I thought you would NEVER break the chain!!! Nowadays it makes me smile when I think about such innocent times...

I remember getting this album when it came out and playing it over and over again. First track to last track just over and over. What a great album to have as part of the soundtrack of my life!
