I always wondered what could have happened if you could save Otsdarva. His death was so quick. If i remember right he was not the type to betray you... well unless you go genocide.
Armored Core is what I find FromSoftware is doing BEST. Visuals, gameplay, terms of customizing and the FUCKING MUSIC!! This is all nostalgic to me =w=
Actually, it’s what they still do. The Soulsborne series and games has so much loving detail put in with the same. Patches even was an introduced as AC pilot, and even then he was a coward all the way through, sniping at you and bolting if his teammates were taken down.
This game was so amazing I did 11 play throughs and I loved all of it pushing my Mech every time. New parts, different parts, new pieces, and etc. I eventually settled on the white glint frame and parts that allowed me to fly infinitely it was amazing
@Satellites In defend Line Ark, I think Anatolia's mercenary (Us from AC4) survived, and Fiona mentioned that they've made a full recovery and that she's working on getting them a new NEXT. This was sometime during the ORCA uprising. I forgot where I saw this, only that I chose to defend Line Ark at that time.

You start fighting this guy, and he pulls out tactics you the player used to use in 4. What the hell? Why is he trying to copy you as if you use the frame. But then it hits you. This is Anatolia’s mercenary. The reason the bastard pulls out 4’s player character tricks… Is because he was the player character.
If I remember correclty, Abe Marsh designed White Glint in an aim help Anatolia's Mercenary on piloting "his" or "our" style of combat manouvers, that being a high speed, fast reacting AC with precise use weaponry fit to accurately targeting Nexts and Normals even at high speeds. While also being that of a well balanced medium class AC, it is also using the design specs and combat log of the mercenary's fried O'Brian, giving the all 'glinting' of its flight more that of an angel.
And once the mission is cleared, you reclaim it as Strayed... But what will such an Answer spell for Earth? False salvation from doom, true salvation from the surly bonds of gravity, or damnation from the skies?
Anatolia's destruction was most likely caused by the last remaining powers of Rayleonard after you destroyed their HQ. They used Joshua, Omer's lab rat, in their Proto Next (it never implied who built the Proto Next but looking at the design, is seems highly likely that it was Rayleonard that built it).
@@WatcherMovie008 Actually, we(as in, we the player) do know who was responsible for Anatolia's destruction. It was Omer Science. They blackmailed Josh into attacking us by threatening to destroy Aspina, then(assuming your playing the hard mode of the final mission) they send in Cielo to kill us if Josh fails.

Hardest boss fight against one enemy in the game even with backup while occupation of arteria carpals was bonkers hard had to do it in 1.2 with a very tanky and quick byped for hard mode but that's a 5V2!!!

Its amazing that from software made this amazing franchise, but somehow remained overshadowed by Dark Souls.. goes to show how incredible Dark Souls really is, but man, I wish AC got more love... The Armored Core V and Verdict Day were.. steps down.
Honestly having played AC since PS1 all the way until AC5, I think AC5 feels more AC like than AC4 or ACFA. Don't get me wrong I love the max out for AC4/ACFA but I don't think AC5 was bad at all, it feels more like going back home after a crazy road trip at AC4.
@@Rhythmier The flight height cap and the slow lumbering movements felt more like it was trying to combine with Mech Assault.. and the rock paper scissor style of damage/defense types was just annoying I can't agree! AC5 was a fierce step down, even from the original on PSX
I remember playing a couple of them on my pirated psp😂 They were fun games tho honestly, I've also been waiting for them to make an Armored Core VI for the PS5 or something, with all the knowledge they've gotten from the Souls games I bet it will be a masterpiece
