The only way the Corporation could possess a space station is if the Closed Plan was carried out. ACVD didn't retcon the ties between AC4/FA and ACV. In fact, everyone thought ACV was a new universe entirely (as far as I was seeing) until ACVD revealed they were connected.

He walks right into that ambush with you, facing the most powerful Lynx on the planet-- and does he care? Hell no he doesn't, because you're on his side.
See now I was always under the impression that it went "I've already fallen I can't drive my head It's that I fall in you" Listening to Fall -into the grace- seems to support this
The merc you play as in AC4 along side with the operator Fiona went off and joined up with Line Ark and helped them. This mech, the new White Glint was crafted by an AC master craftsmen and the two named it White Glint in memory and in honor of Joshua since the three of them were close friends and since his death have fought in his name against those who lead Joshua's death and blackmailed him to do what he did.
0:34 for some reason I can hear a giga chad theme in low base Its like two men understand what their doing and they know it may hurt each other so therefore they embraced it hope for the best.......
You know what's great too? Armored Core Verdict Day all but confirms the Destruction ending, ACFA marking the humanity's decent into dark, ACV being the start of its ascent from darkness, and ACVD being the fight to finalize that reemergence. After all, fighting on the wrecks of Spirit class Arms Forts and crashed Cradles, and fighting a NEXT as the final boss is pretty definitive, ne?
Armored Core V confirms the ORCA ending. The Corporation has a space colony, which could only happen if the Assault Cells (which destroy anything attempting to leave Earth's atmosphere,) were destroyed. This only happens in the ORCA ending. The Cradles also come crashing down in the ORCA ending, so there's that too. Additionally with Armored Core 6 coming out, we know that it takes place on a whole other planet, so if there's any connections to the 4 and 5 series games, that solidifies even further that the ORCA Path is canon.
@@corvus9359 Any of the endings are possible, its just that we can assume that somewhere on the way, they destroyed the Assault Cells. In the Destruction Ending, Strayed destroys the Corporations and Cradles, leading to a new World Order and the possible destruction of the Assault Cells, that I'd like to believe is merciful at first, but slowly becomes tyrannical, leading to the events of V In the League Ending, the League eventually forms into the Corporation, and as the Cradles prove worthless for escaping Kojima Contamination, the Corporations forms the City, that is oppressive and leads to the events of V. In the ORCA Ending, the Corporate Elite leave Earth into Space, leaving the People to suffer on Earth, but form a new world free from the Corporations. But as all things do, the Mistake of the Old World begin seeping into their New World, causing another tyrannical Government, leading to the events of V.
@@dooggo-1402 Only one ending is possible. The only way the Assault Cells were going to be destroyed is with the anti-satellite cannons. This doesn't happen in the destruction ending because Strayed just goes on a killing rampage. Since everyone's dead, nobody reaches space because there's nobody left with the resources to make that happen. In the League Ending, all traces of ORCA were completely destroyed, and the anti-satellite cannons were also destroyed. It also literally said people forgot about the eventual Kojima contamination that was catching up with them. By the time they would realize what was happening, it would already be too late.
@@corvus9359 you do realize it's a reboot right? AC5/VD were the only exceptions with them taking place after AC4/FA. Games such as AC2, and AC3 for example are completely separate from each other timeline-wise and have their own separate sequels. They are *not* however, connected in any way whatsoever
Games are split up when it comes to overall lore. 4 and 5 are connected with the events of 4 freeing humanity to explore space, but the destruction of the war set them back tech wise. It's why 5's mechs are smaller and not as maneuverable since 4's mechs and emissions almost killed the world. 4's main plot comes from human colonies in the sky (cradles) floated above the pollution of earth. One path (Orca) involved forcing the cradles to land potentially killing millions, but it opens the skies for humanity to try to escape to other planets (AC2 takes place on Mars). So it seems Orca was successful. 5 follows the calamity of 4 with people finally starting to move towards space while still constantly fighting. Don't know what happens in AC1, but in 2 humans have colonized Mars and new corporations are fighting each other much like 4. Fights pretty much continue up until 3. 3 was technically the last (if 2 and 3 are part of same universe as 4 and 5).
AC4 story in a nutshell part 10. 1. After this you would normally destroy there main base like like you did BFF flagship but, Raylernard, at the brink tells a certain somebody about the Closed Plan and how it will only happen if they win, and that someone is Berlioz, the No. 1 most friendliest mother trucker ever who decides to carry it out, him being so awesome he is able to get 3 other to work with him to make an unstoppable team that would make you lose if it wasn't for you MR. awesomesause.
For Answer is an Armored core 4 era game. Each number change signifies either a new continuity (AC3 and 4) or a major timeline change (AC2, which was about 1000 years after AC1).
I think at that point in time it's very clear that the Raven was somehow integrated in to White Glint, Phantasma style. Usually characters can't pull this off with out some heavy cyborg level modifications. It seems to me that all of the time lines are likely somehow linked at this point. Also, J strikes me as being the original pilot, considering how he pulls the classic spin maneuver with White Glint.
LYNX are physically linked into their cockpits. When we fight N-WGIX/v at the end of Verdict Day, it's a clone of J, piloting a NEXT made of different parts.
Apparently J is an artificial human cloned from a skilled pilot. With Aspina being known for their human experimentation, and The Foundation known for trying to recover lost technology, as well as J having the same Japanese VA as Joshua O'Brien, the original White Glint, it's possible that J is a clone of Joshua O'Brien with "J" standing for "Joshua." This would make sense for J because the N-WGIX/v was clearly an attempt to recreate a NEXT. In order to pilot a NEXT, the pilot needs to be able to interface with the AMS. Joshua O'Brien was known to have high AMS compatibility, so cloning him would be a good way to get a pilot capable of controlling the N-WGIX/v.
@@corvus9359but it seemed faulty The next i mean As far as I seen assault armor cuased it to be imobile which is a fatal flaw for an next If you cant move fast enough without PA its a death sentence
@@R-XI_Sulla Oh yeah definitely. The Foundation came close to recreating a NEXT, but not close enough. The N-WGIX/v looks very experimental and its flaws are probably due to knowledge gaps and inadequate technology to properly create a NEXT. It was certainly a formidable opponent for conventional ACs, but against an actual NEXT, it wouldn't stand a chance.
Final Boss, Prototype NEXT: 00-Aretha, God I would love to pilot it :D I hope Armored Core 5 will be based much on it, since the 00-Aretha has massive weapons just like in the Armored Core 5 Teaser =] And this is my fav AC song =D
Only three fights I deem memorable. The Fight with Joshua or (Final Boss) The Fight with Barbaroi (or Amazigh The Desert Wolf) The Fight with White Glint (ACFA)
You have to keep in mind that fan favorites always find a way back. Looks at 9ball and Jack-o. Some of the newer model AC's even resemble older one's. Maybe that's just their way of saying keep calm and battle on.
God I want Armored Core 4 so badly... I've been playin' Armored Core 3 for the first time lately... I made it to A-1 in the Arena, but I can't beat the game without the KARASAWA, so I'm gonna hafta start over again from scratch, and try to get the KARASAWA.
No I cant and dont want to see the modern media ruining it It has an very good chance for succes but its still to low for me I dont want to see this gem to be ruined by people trying to push agendas
The lyrics are either _I've already fallen_ _I don't want to fight you_ _It's so hard_ _Wanting you_ Or _I've already fallen_ _I can't drive my head_ _It's that I fall in you_ Personally, I think it's the second one.
Zappy Caboose I can hear both of them. Although i'm listening to the "Fall Into the grace" version of this song. 0:34 - 0:55 of this version you can hear both of the lyrics you posted AND I can hear "I won't hurt a comrade, I don't want to fight you" at 0:59 - 1:05 so it's like this: I've already fallen I don't want to fight you It's so hard wanting you I've already fallen I can't drive my head It's that I fall in you . I won't hurt a comrade I don't want to fight you
+Night Flyer I'm not sure if i'm 100% accurate as if you look at different parts of the lyrics i posted for example the 2nd part while the song plays the first part, you'll here I can't drive my head. It's that i fall in you. However imo the lyrics i posted is more accurate story wise. As the final boss doesn't want to fight you "I don't want to fight you" "I won't hurt a comrade" and has "fallen" where it's either a do this or die so he has no choice
Owned this guy AND Supplice taking 5k points of damage. Joshua's weakness in this Super AC is close quarters combat, so if you're good with blades, you're in luck. As for Supplice, medium range combat is the easiest way to take care of him. I used the Mussel shell Missile launcher in tandem with the HLR01-Canopus Hi laser Rifle. Drains PA like no other and has an awesome PA piercing to boot.
it was a name given to joshua o'brien (first pilot of wg) because of his high speed combat style, theres only one raven left and thats the protagonist of ac4 who is the white glint on fa. imo the reason why the over boost for white glint 2 looks like that is because hes the last raven so thats why it look like wings when over boosting, also in fa he is rank nine to represent nine ball :p
The theory is that he survived since the operator of WG was very close to the pilot. This is also evident in how you just get the Next after it is supposedly shot down.
it just represents that 2 best friends meet and the verge off battle knowing only one of them is gonna walk away from this alive. Both forced to this conclusion by war. Both who will fight to protect their home from this war, even if it meant fighting one another.
@Yatolcharles just equip the wing arms and the dual back cannons the shell ones that have 20 ammo. the first one just use the cannons and the seccond 1 use the cannons and the missles
this mission wasn't dofficult on hard, but man, I was so pissed at the NEXT who arrives when you beat Joshua. CELO, who taunts you by effectively downplaying your skill and when you destroy him? His NEXT is exploding, and he just laughs in a very creepy manner.
listening to this song reminds me of the 2 annoying sentences i heard like 2000 times... "heh. im coming in after you. you can chew me out on the other side"... had to remodel my core zapper with bettr equips (putting me overweight) to beat him normal mode and remodel it into zapper T with even better equips for me to beat him on hard... omg man... ridiculous... and just let me tell you that my core is awesome... thats how outragous things are here... this thing beat all the simulator bosses but a couple within 10s or less... record of 6s... what i do is let out my pulse gun and laser rifle's fury out on you at the first moment... and so long as you dont circle me quickly you will go down... well the outragous part is that aretha has way too much AP and hits too darn hard and he freakin TELEPORTS... but i guess this is good because of the energy issues from the better equips... so developers... i just have 1 thing to say... "y u make fial boss so HARD!?!?!?"
@LuckyNoDice747 Man, taking on Motherwill, Over Boosting like crazy to fly past the waves of missiles. Cabracan, Quick Boosting like crazy to dodge the lasers. Than there is the Answerer. Speechless. XD I guess those were the best, Arms Fort battles. Though Answerer shouldn't have gone down just because you sliced a few wings off, and Motherwill shouldn't have gone down just because you plugged a few holes in, and blew off it's cannons.
@X17Clones I did a little digging (played AC4) and yes Omer science was behind it. I believe they held Joshuas family hostage which is why he agreed to fight in the first place. I don't think Omer held Aspina hostage but rather the 2 were working together. Therefore it is fitting that Celo does turn up for the party.
i like how in the beginning u have to kill "him or her"(its never really certain in the start it says he then in for answer it say she in the loading screen he and at the end she but once u finish certain missins in "for answer or amored core 4"(white glint is in both) u get to team up with W.G its actualy pretty fun doing so i hate when u have to fight the "for answer" arms fort in the end... huuggee disapointment its was honestly too easy XD
No the ghost of rayleonard is Shinkai and some people say that Otsdarva is his secret identity. I follow with that theory from the Dialogue after the mission "Spirit of motherwill" and in the mission "Attack arteria cranium"
The theory i came across suggested that Shinkai was a double agent for collared and that he faked his death to return to ORCA although he was truly loyal to Collared and took the opportunity to kill Thermidor, Shinkai was then mistaken for Thermidor in the battle after killing him, only to correct the operator saying he killed him. Sounds riduclously elaborate for this game but it sounds cool XD
I only just recently got my PS3 for X-Mas '09, so I haven't gotten Armored Core 4 yet. I suspect I'll be grabbin' Armored Core 5 first, though. I just want all of them.
AC4 story in a nutshell part 5. 1. So you do some missions and you eventually have to go after Aldra best robot friend who is No .14 sherring, who likes to share pain with people, and your like sharing is caring wreck is stuff so you just killed the 14th best friend in the world, basicly just went halfway through the 26 ranks of friends and screw Aldra, two birds with one stone. 2. After that you decide to do a different mission hoping it is safe, only to have to kill three super friends of evil
AC4 story in a nutshell, Semi Final. 1. You pretty much show the world the true meaning of friendship and you destroy all four of the robots and Berlioz even applauding you before he dies, now that is a friend right there. Making the undisputed No 1. Friend. Rayernored runs away to their main water base only for you to destroy it, and guess what your main man josh just destroyed Akev vit main base, ending the Fat War. The final part is next yaaaaaay!
@TehPSFanboy Kind of, the experimental next he used had many faults, one of them is that the kojima generator in it is so strong that anyone in it would suffer severe kojima sickness.
@AlienHeartBeat For a bit more detail the final boss in armored core 4 is Joshua O' Brian piloting a prototype NEXT. He was shoved into the Prototype by Aspina I believe who chose him to pilot it because of his High AMS and him having ties with the company before. After the battle yourself and Fiona your operator escape and become the White Glint of armored core for answer Aka the awesome NEXT in the picture for this Vid.

Raven: "The Corporations will pay, O'Brian, you aren't gonna be alone long..."
I know this is 9 years old but-
It's sad that he was black mailed into it too
I was BROKEN when I heard Joshua's voice from the Prototype NEXT.
Oldking ending is the only ending.
See Wynne? Otsdarva? that's how a REAL bro dies. he doesn't fake a freaking thruster failure because he's scared of a little combat. He walks right into that ambush with you, facing the most powerful Lynx on the planet-- and does he care?
Hell no he doesn't, because you're on his side.
Never really realised how much of legend Oldking was til I read this. Thanks
Though it comes at the cost of you becoming History's Greatest Monster.
I may be his lapdog, but he fights to the end
@@boxtank5288 aka hitler x1000
Fuck yeah bro.
This fight actually makes you put feeling into it, meaning emotion. One from the theme music and from who you're fighting.
better be enjoying amc6
It is our time Ravens! Our chance to make ourselves known! Let us make our names on Rubicon!
See now I was always under the impression that it went
"I've already fallen
I can't drive my head
It's that I fall in you"
Listening to Fall -into the grace- seems to support this
The merc you play as in AC4 along side with the operator Fiona went off and joined up with Line Ark and helped them. This mech, the new White Glint was crafted by an AC master craftsmen and the two named it White Glint in memory and in honor of Joshua since the three of them were close friends and since his death have fought in his name against those who lead Joshua's death and blackmailed him to do what he did.
0:34 for some reason I can hear a giga chad theme in low base
Its like two men understand what their doing and they know it may hurt each other so therefore they embraced it hope for the best.......
This song gives me so many feeling that i dont know how to describe, never played the game before
You know what's great too? Armored Core Verdict Day all but confirms the Destruction ending, ACFA marking the humanity's decent into dark, ACV being the start of its ascent from darkness, and ACVD being the fight to finalize that reemergence. After all, fighting on the wrecks of Spirit class Arms Forts and crashed Cradles, and fighting a NEXT as the final boss is pretty definitive, ne?
Any of them could be, its not like the Corporations would ever stop fighting each other.
In the Destruction Ending, Strayed destroys the Corporations and Cradles, leading to a new World Order and the possible destruction of the Assault Cells, that I'd like to believe is merciful at first, but slowly becomes tyrannical, leading to the events of V
In the League Ending, the League eventually forms into the Corporation, and as the Cradles prove worthless for escaping Kojima Contamination, the Corporations forms the City, that is oppressive and leads to the events of V.
I've owned every armored core game so far. I love it!
So i just got into Armored Core about five minutes ago, having found out it existed.
So far so good lol
Update: been 3 months. Still can’t figure out anything about the lore help
Ruphite english version of AC is badly translated from the japanese version of it that has the good lore
N-WGIX aw that sucks. I don’t speak japanese :/
@@ruphite9521 late response but thankfully people translated some of it into the wiki
I'm not even a fan of the mech fighting genre... so why do I keep coming back to Armored Core's soundtrack?!
Music dosn't belong to a genra
@@DrMaseus He very clearly meant that music doesn't belong to a _game_ genre.
why does every armored core game has that one final boss that has you in tears after the fight
I definitely didn't shed tears for beating Stinger into pulp, balling over Nine-Ball, and outright screamed "FUCK YES" after defeating Zinaida.
i wish i knew armored core sooner
With Aspina being known for their human experimentation, and The Foundation known for trying to recover lost technology, as well as J having the same Japanese VA as Joshua O'Brien, the original White Glint, it's possible that J is a clone of Joshua O'Brien with "J" standing for "Joshua."
This would make sense for J because the N-WGIX/v was clearly an attempt to recreate a NEXT. In order to pilot a NEXT, the pilot needs to be able to interface with the AMS. Joshua O'Brien was known to have high AMS compatibility, so cloning him would be a good way to get a pilot capable of controlling the N-WGIX/v.
@@corvus9359but it seemed faulty
The next i mean
As far as I seen assault armor cuased it to be imobile which is a fatal flaw for an next
If you cant move fast enough without PA its a death sentence
@@R-XI_Sulla Oh yeah definitely. The Foundation came close to recreating a NEXT, but not close enough. The N-WGIX/v looks very experimental and its flaws are probably due to knowledge gaps and inadequate technology to properly create a NEXT. It was certainly a formidable opponent for conventional ACs, but against an actual NEXT, it wouldn't stand a chance.
傭兵『くそ、速い…!ジョシュアとは差が違いすぎる…!けどな、負けれないんだよ、こっちだって…!!』
Mercenary: Damn, fast…! The difference is too different from Joshua…! But I can't lose, this one…!!
Final Boss, Prototype NEXT: 00-Aretha, God I would love to pilot it :D
I hope Armored Core 5 will be based much on it, since the 00-Aretha has massive weapons just like in the Armored Core 5 Teaser =]
And this is my fav AC song =D
西部劇の一騎打ちを思わせるラストバトルに似つかわしい曲
Pretty cool that you can hear the melody from 4A's Today in this song.
This game's OST's drums are off the god damn WALLS
"Hey... I guess there's little need for words huh?"
Only three fights I deem memorable.
The Fight with Joshua or (Final Boss)
The Fight with Barbaroi (or Amazigh The Desert Wolf)
The Fight with White Glint (ACFA)
May all us ravens chase the clouds from over Rubicon, never to fall again
You have to keep in mind that fan favorites always find a way back. Looks at 9ball and Jack-o. Some of the newer model AC's even resemble older one's. Maybe that's just their way of saying keep calm and battle on.
God I want Armored Core 4 so badly...
I've been playin' Armored Core 3 for the first time lately... I made it to A-1 in the Arena, but I can't beat the game without the KARASAWA, so I'm gonna hafta start over again from scratch, and try to get the KARASAWA.
My favorite theme in the whole series.
"Heh.. lap dog"
they should make a movie out of this whole videogame series. that would be way cool
No
I cant and dont want to see the modern media ruining it
It has an very good chance for succes but its still to low for me
I dont want to see this gem to be ruined by people trying to push agendas
@@R-XI_Sulla yeah... I guess you're right. But with AI assistance, maybe an indie group could make a fan made series?
*Main System. ENGAGING COMBAT MODE.* Welcome back ravens.
N-WGIX stands for NEXT-White Glint IX ( IX means 9 in roman numeral)
True?
you can't have two game series with the best soundtrack
The lyrics are either
_I've already fallen_
_I don't want to fight you_
_It's so hard_
_Wanting you_
Or
_I've already fallen_
_I can't drive my head_
_It's that I fall in you_
Personally, I think it's the second one.
Zappy Caboose I can hear both of them. Although i'm listening to the "Fall Into the grace" version of this song. 0:34 - 0:55 of this version you can hear both of the lyrics you posted AND I can hear "I won't hurt a comrade, I don't want to fight you" at 0:59 - 1:05 so it's like this:
I've already fallen
I don't want to fight you
It's so hard wanting you
I've already fallen
I can't drive my head
It's that I fall in you
.
I won't hurt a comrade
I don't want to fight you
+Night Flyer I'm not sure if i'm 100% accurate as if you look at different parts of the lyrics i posted for example the 2nd part while the song plays the first part, you'll here I can't drive my head. It's that i fall in you.
However imo the lyrics i posted is more accurate story wise. As the final boss doesn't want to fight you "I don't want to fight you" "I won't hurt a comrade" and has "fallen" where it's either a do this or die so he has no choice
+Zappy Caboose Welcome to Armored Core music, where even the LYRICS are ambiguous :P
***** Thinker has accurate lyrics because of the Reprises track.
Well after a year, looking back at my comment I'm embarrassed at the English of my younger self.
Besides Marche Au Supplice, this was my favorite battle in the game. It's weird though, because I always won by cutting his head with a blade.
it was a name given to joshua o'brien (first pilot of wg) because of his high speed combat style, theres only one raven left and thats the protagonist of ac4 who is the white glint on fa. imo the reason why the over boost for white glint 2 looks like that is because hes the last raven so thats why it look like wings when over boosting, also in fa he is rank nine to represent nine ball :p
A Badassed song to go with a badassed boss!
its my dream to make a real AC and 4 some reason this song helps me keep pursuing it/
How'd it go?
I can still hear the alarms going off in certain parts of the beat.
Those drums and bass are to die for
The theory is that he survived since the operator of WG was very close to the pilot. This is also evident in how you just get the Next after it is supposedly shot down.
why do i shad tears to this song?
it just represents that 2 best friends meet and the verge off battle knowing only one of them is gonna walk away from this alive. Both forced to this conclusion by war. Both who will fight to protect their home from this war, even if it meant fighting one another.
Hay...
Guess there's little need for words...
then
All those stories about you...
They're exaggerating
HAHAHAHAHA!
Watching Omer's party crasher go down was EXTREMELY cathartic after what they'd forced Joshua to do.
"Hey...I guess there's little need for words.
Me: "Why Jashua!"
DAMN YOU OMER SCIENCE!!! D:
God this is so old sheesh. Time flies.
The AC games have always had a pretty unique soundtrack :)
Well... i guess there's little need for words
REEEEEEEE fire
This feels like old wild west a little.
The lyrics of this song are what i want my metal gear to sing in mgs:peacewalker
listening to this song reminds me of the 2 annoying sentences i heard like 2000 times... "heh. im coming in after you. you can chew me out on the other side"... had to remodel my core zapper with bettr equips (putting me overweight) to beat him normal mode and remodel it into zapper T with even better equips for me to beat him on hard... omg man... ridiculous... and just let me tell you that my core is awesome... thats how outragous things are here... this thing beat all the simulator bosses but a couple within 10s or less... record of 6s... what i do is let out my pulse gun and laser rifle's fury out on you at the first moment... and so long as you dont circle me quickly you will go down... well the outragous part is that aretha has way too much AP and hits too darn hard and he freakin TELEPORTS... but i guess this is good because of the energy issues from the better equips... so developers... i just have 1 thing to say...
Why can I imagine this as a song in FLCL? :3
I've already fallen.
I dont want to fight you.
It's so hard wanting you.
Awesome.
i like how in the beginning u have to kill "him or her"(its never really certain in the start it says he then in for answer it say she in the loading screen he and at the end she
but once u finish certain missins in "for answer or amored core 4"(white glint is in both) u get to team up with W.G
its actualy pretty fun doing so
i hate when u have to fight the "for answer" arms fort in the end... huuggee disapointment its was honestly too easy
XD
That beginning reminds me of a song from ultrakill. Dunno if the composer was inspired by this game
No the ghost of rayleonard is Shinkai and some people say that Otsdarva is his secret identity. I follow with that theory from the Dialogue after the mission "Spirit of motherwill" and in the mission "Attack arteria cranium"
the man is still a terrifying pilot
I've already fallen.
I don't want to fight you.
It's so hard loving you.
I love you.
oh my god it´s just dawning on me that AC4 is a tragic love story
You have a good taste in game :)
Sounds like a song you'd hear in Hi-fi Rush

You know whats funny, ayre and allmind c weapons is literally just whiteglint design
@pkemr4 If you remember correctly from the opening vid, it lost the ANNR assault rifle due to being hit while assaulting the Spirit Of Motherwill.
@ZeroStealth117 kickass! i hope my white glint knock off will be just as badass in the next game!
I have to agree, I guess thats why I never use Omer stuff and always do missions where they are the enemy... Heh...
Probably one of the best songs in AC4.
