Yeah it was great all I did was walk into AutoZone tell him the year of my van size engine that I wanted it originally came with the 305 but I told him that I wanted to 350 they said no problem and waited about 2 1/2 weeks they called me took my truck over there picked it up still running good today barely put 300 miles on the new engine Just driving it around town took it to Modesto reservoir camping there’s a video on that also check it out
Those engines are on like a 1 - 2 month wait time right now.
How much hp do they make ?
Damn I was at autozone today looking at crate engines for my 93 🤗 said 4 year warranty, $1800. The Core charge is $400 just FYI. Think I might pull the trigger and get one. Think Nutech was the brand I was looking at.
Did you end up getting one? I’ve got one ordered right now, looking for anyone’s input.

Still run good?
Yep it’s still running good I just hit 3800 miles on the new motor. Still running strong can still fill the little gains especially accelerating from a stop at the red light I’ll have to do a review on the engine soon

If you have to start it up and keep the engine revved up for one 6500 is way too high it’s supposed to be 2002 if you have to do that then it has not been broken in
No when you first start the engine up, they said that you have to rev it like 2000 to 3000 RPM so that the lifters and rods can get oil up to them for about 3 to 5 minutes then it should be ready to drive and break in after 500 miles

@@massiveyeetage8340 Was she pretty sexy"undressed" ???? Just be'in a smart ass !!! I bought a similar one--the GM 350/290 last year for my '72 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4. Put a "Mutha-Thumper" cam in her, a Torquer II intake(which is actually a bit radical for what I am doing), Z-28 valve springs, Holley 2008 dual feed 750(vacuum) and stainless long tube headers. I'm not shitt'in you that damn thing runs like a BBC. And for only $1400 base engine plus around $600 extras. Where can you get that much fun for 2K ?????? Jim If I'd of had a brain in my head I'd of bought up (4) or (5) while they were on sale(to sell) --now the same damn motor is $1800--base !!
@@massiveyeetage8340 what do you mean by dressed and undressed. Asking because I plan on buying a motor for my 99 Tahoe soon, so trying to make the right call.
@@tevingay8030 dressed comes with all the bells and whistles ,valve covers , oil pan , etc etc undressed is just a block and heads
