  • Little Nemo: The Dream Master on the NES was a hidden gem from Capcom that offered great music, unique enemies, and classic Capcom graphics. Let's see if we can save Dreamland and give Nemo a good night's rest for a change. #nes #nintendo #charliefive

I remember playing this game and a few years later I watched the anime movie at a friends house. It was so cool seeing a movie (and good one if I remember correctly) based on the game I played. I really have no clue if the game was based on the movie or the other way around.
Anytime I show videos of the game to people today they always think it looks great, even by todays pixel art standards.

Loved this game as a kid, the costume change ability was around the time of SMB3 with the frog suit and I remember being excited about that. Kewl

One of my favorite Capcom NES games. I liked the TMS movie it was based on too. Not many know it was based on one, as the movie was delayed to 1992, 2 years later, and the promotional material and boxart hardly reference it at all.

@@CharlieFive. The movie was called "Little Nemo Adventures in Slumberland," (loved it as a kid, shame it flopped) an American and Japanese co-production. Hence the "TMS" (Tokyo Movie Shinsha) copyright on the game title screen.
The movie itself is also based on an old early 20th century comic strip by Winsor McKay.
The movie can actually be seen on TMS's official UA-cam channel in it's entirety. (Making it longer than the original theatrical/home video version.)
