The only thing that made me hate this game was when Festers speed went to snail slow. It was extremely frustrating and ruined the game for me completely. It was a terrible rental experience because of it. This could have been a great game. I love almost everything about it except for the one complaint I have that destroys the fun of the game entirely and makes it seem unplayable. Gremlins 2 was more of what this game should have been. Bro, this one and the second one to top tier childhood games! Kingsfield bit me pretty hard to on the ps one. I dumped countless hours into these. Thank you for the memory bump! This is one of those games that lives seared into your memories as one of the all time greats. The sfx the music, all of it made you feel like you were on a mythical quest. Awesome stuff, living through the 80’s was wildly awesome. But now realizing that I’ve probably got more time in life than left is kind of a wild thought. Watching the younger people is wild too. I remember being young enough to think I knew something. Now I’m old enough to know I don’t know anything. Life is weird, but this was a fkn awesome dopamine ride. So thank you for that. I'm impressed with how quickly this game can be finished. When I was a kid, each level felt like a big adventure and advancing a level felt like a big accomplishment. When I found this video it was about midnight and I fell asleep watching it the first time. Anyway, I dreamed that in the castle you revealed a secret door that revealed a tavern where you could recruit and play the rest of the game with one of 3 other characters, including a woman warrior with blue hair. And I was like, I never knew you could do that! I have since watched your whole video at a more reasonable hour and confirmed that, while a cool concept, not in this game.
