I had the same problem with the low salt alert. I did some research and found that if you unplug the cell, turn it and plug it back in, it works. Best advice because it absolutely worked for me. Didn't have a low salt alert again.
Hi, is there a way you can link a video or something so I can understand this a little more because I’ve been having the same problem and don’t know what to do. Thanks
I was looking for advice bc I’m having the same issue. I saw another video saying that voltage may be the issue, so I’m going to look at that next. Good luck!
I occasionally reverse the plug with the sensor. It’ll work for a while. When it 91 errors swap it back. In the meantime email your supplier as it’s under warranty.
Had low salt light, reversing the polarity worked for a while, my unit is on it's 3rd season and I bought a new titanium electrode. Now it's working like new. I had to drain some water and add fresh water cause the salt level was too high. Now I had to cut down the hours on the Intex unit cause it makes too much chlorine. Buy a new electrode, expensive but the best fix.
I ordered one as I had before model ec020110-1 picture was the same..when I got it, it's different says ec020110-2..what happened?? Are they not making the 1 anymore
Appreciate the video, I installed the exact same model the first week in July on a 22x52 coleman. Worked great for while, now I'm getting low salt salt warnings and the salt is good. Tried the clean function twice with no luck. Also you said you schedule the clean function? I think once it runs the unit goes back to normal, will it automatically clean again or do you have to manually start it? (Posted this on another of your videos before finding this one)
Had any other issues? I woke the other morning to my pump just being dead. I checked the board and I'm getting 120 there but it wont show any sign of life
After i set mine back up after winter break i got a single beep, no display and nothing else. After weeks of trying to get ahold of Intex on the phone and never getting through I submitted a claim online. After several worthless email exchanges repeating the same facts they approved an RMA to send me a new pump. The status of the claim then changed to approved out of stock where it stayed for about 3 months. I finally got a replacement pump a couple months later. Unfortunately I had already replaced the pool which had rusted out completely from the salt water. I know have a real above ground steel wall pool with Wayward pump and chlorine system. I’m never but another Intex product.
If you mean on all the time I’m not sure that’s an option via the interface you probably could rewire it to bypass the control panel and run off continuous power.
Don’t understand what you did do you clear the cell box from debris please help still having issues flipping electrodes now to see if I still get the same error
I have the same setup, but no issues yet. You could call your credit card company and tell them this unit is Broken possibly they can get your money back . Then go get a higher end clorinator unit .
How much bags of salt you added , if im correct , you need 210lbs of salt thats about 5 bags salt , but best buy 6 added of 5 let it disolved by brushing then run system , if you have issue let me know .
I'm having issues. I have 1600gpm intex sand saltwater system. Brand new but right off the bat low salt. But I tested it and my salt is actually 4100 ppm.
You have to buy and install new titanium plates every 2-3 years. Because plates last 2-3 years until you get 91 erorr, this means your titanium is gone from plates and you have to buy new plates.
That may be true but we are talking about Intex junk here so your lucky if you get 4-5mo out of it before having this issue. After two different Intex models in a single season and my metal frame pool then rusting and collapsing from the salt water I got a real above ground steel wall pool with a real Haywood pump and filter system. I’ll never buy another Intex product. Complete trash, zero support.

Mine had a notch that only allowed it to go on one way.
@@DIY-Nickyou can turn the plug though

Cason & Corbin Sooner Twins I posted a newer video with a workaround that has worked great for me. Check it out it should work for you as well.

How many gallon is your pool
Same exact issue as you! And I’m totally frustrated. 😔
Jayna Cline check out my newer video it proves an easy workaround/fix.
Please how can I run the pump on

Did anyone find a fix? My cells and connectors are clean, salt is good, like video says constantly get low salt code after turning on
@@KittensXoX see my other video that provides a workaround. Its nots not a long term fix but will get it working long enough to get a replacement.
Clr in the sait cell box and wait 30 mins then run it. I did this and it worked. No more red light.

I think she meant to say CLR, it’s calcium, lime and rust removal cleaning supply. I might try it. I have the same unit.

Same thing happening to me
Mine has never worked for salt
Werid because I have same set up and this second year with it , no issue at all
Going post videos of my set up

Your titanium electrode is defective !!! you need a replacement from intex
They go bad yes but I found a workaround that worked since Intex customer service is awful.

Intex is out of stock on this part and have been for a long time!
Yup their customer service is the worst I’ve seen, I’ll never buy another product from them.
That what they tell me. But my clr trick worked again.
