In this video I go over some key new features introduced in the 2nd edition model of Intex 2,650 GPH Krystal Clear Sand Filter Pump & Saltwater Sanitation System Model ECO20110-2 (26679EG). This specifically goes over the main differences between the original model ECO20110 (28679EG) and the new model ECO20110-2 (26679EG).

The Krystal Clear® Sand Filter & Saltwater system combines the filtration efficiency and low cost operation of a sand filter with the powerful sanitation function of natural chlorine generated by the saltwater system. Sand filters use natural sand and provide excellent pool water filtration, especially compared to cartridge filter pumps. They are one of the most popular ways to keep water clean and operate economically because if operated and maintained properly, the sand can last up to five years. Saltwater systems, with electrocatalytic oxidation (E.C.O.), eliminate bacteria and algae using a virtually undetectable amount of all natural salt. The water is much gentler on the skin, eyes, swim suits and hair than packaged chlorine.
