      Don’t ever be afraid of looking dumb… it’s a small bump in road and before you know it you’ll perfect it with consistency. Everyone has a learning curve. And think of your end goal whether it be just to be healthy or have a beach body. Each time you show up you’re one step closer to your goal. You got this💪🏼

      Same!!! It is much easier to load the bar, you don't have to worry about balancing the barbell. My gym only has the heavy 20kg barbells that I struggle to carry even without loading. You have to load 2 20kg plates if you want to get under it easily which equals to 60 kg That is way too heavy for me. Smith machines get a lot of hate for I don't know why but it is a lifesaver for me😅

      I did this as i was tidying up after class. And luckily a woman stopped me and showed me how to do it. I was SO amazed haha

    Love this so much, I hate setting up the traditional way especially when you don’t have someone to help you. I’m going to try this on my next workout, thank you 🙏🏼 ❤️❤️

      The traditional way is a pain… I’ve been doing hip thrust like this for the last two years.. won’t go back!

      I know it's true, no one helps you, you feel insecure and you prefer to skip the exercises and not do it. But this video really helps a lot

    I love ur voice and your energy. I’ve been doing hip thrusts for a couple years and just started doing it on the smith and it’s so much better. But it’s almost always taken at my gym 😢😂 everyone loves it.

    If you are on the shorter side like me put a step board under your feet with this set up. Trust me it makes everything better.

    I’ve been doing hip thrusts for a couple weeks now and since the weight is getting light for me, I’ve been putting on more weights. That being said, I’ve leaned my hips back and it caused me to use my lower back. Do I not put the weight all the way down?

    Do you ever find you have range of motion issues, i.e. you can't get your butt low enough to the ground when using a smith machine? I feel like it hits the bottom stops before I get all the way down.

    I’ve tried this set up today. This was my third time giving it a go and I really love it. However I realised today my butt doesn’t touch the ground. I guess because of the bench height. I filmed myself today and realised I’m lifting my hips to meet the bar before I even start, does that matter?

    Do you have any suggestions on how to do it, if the smithmachine you're using have like a "buffer" at the bottom, so that the bar won't reach all the way to the ground?

      You can add a box under your heels (but then you’d probably have to use a taller elevated surface for your upper back) So 12”box under heels and 24” box for upper back

      Normally it lets you move the brackets that stop the bar from falling all the way down. You can see in her video the metal handle sticking out has been moved all the way down those are adjustable.

    My gym has stopper on them smith machines and won’t go low😢 I asked the staff how to adjust them low, but he don’t know how to take off those stoppers. Howww 🥺

      yes!!! i tried to do these on the smith machine at my gym and the safety locks make it to where it doesn't go low enough to rest on my hips :(

    Why do so many gyms have their smith machines backwards, it really is terrible! 😖
