And another problem. 3.3 L V6 engines have issues with bolts backing out of the block causing exhaust gases to get into the cooling system. Requires complete and total engine replacement. Problem only occurs between 100000 and 120,000 miles, just after the warranty ends. Some dealers are replacing 7 engines per week. It’s a design defect that should be recalled by the manufacturer

Is this prone in the 2019 v6 Sorentos?
I have a 2016 sxl and just had head gasket issue with overheating and coolant leak. Getting engine replaced by Kia dealer due to recent recall extending factory warranty to 150k miles or 10yrs. Issue is head bolts stripping causing head gasket failure.

For anyone wondering: there are very very few modern cars that are not plagues by problems. Starting with VW, Audi, Mercedes, BMW, and every other major brand. I`ve been plagued with problems on my Audi A5 C7 2013, and all 2.0 TDI engines from VW group (Skoda, Audi, VW, Seat) are cancerous. From oil pump issues, turbo issues, crankshaft breaking in half etc. Yet there are many people that are very happy with their car and never had any issues.
Buy a low mileage, well serviced vehicle, and you should be good. I bought my 2.2 CRDI Sorento 3 @ 2015 with 70.000 miles and it work very well now at 100.000. Keep in mind that Kia hyunday and I think Suzuki are among the very few brands that offer 7 years of warranty. No other manufacturer does this (at least not in europe). There are no good cars, just well maintained ones that you hope will take you far. (yes arguably there are some that are much worse than others).

I have a 2019 kia sorento and my biggest regret is the headlights seem to be pointing down. There is no fix to this. I have replaced the low beam bulbs.
theres a torx adjustment for this, search youtube for instructions. I did it my self.
we should sue kia for all this we need to get a good law firm to do a massive law sue against KIA, my is a disaster!
I have a 2019 Kia Sorrento L I would like you to add to this list for the most common problems passenger side low beam constantly goes out I constantly every 3 to 4 months have to replace my bulb driver side break light and turn signal constantly go out I am replacing my bulb every 2 to 3 months matter fact just replaced brake light and turn signal bulb three days ago again it is so bad that I carry replacement bulbs at all times in my trunk in the secret compartment where the tire spare release is at I do not understand why they have not done a recall on this or why they haven’t fixed this problem it has been a known problem for quite some time

I had the same issue on a 2016 model, I solve my problem ordering LED lights from Amazon.
This use to happen in my GMC Sierra 2009, I fixed it by replacing the socket the bulb goes into with one that has higher voltage/amp tolerance. The factory tolerances were so low the after market bulbs would pull too much, and go out every few months. I also started wearing gloves and using a waterproof socket gel for lack of a better word.
Im in New Zealand. This is exactly what happened to my 2016 Sorento 2.4 petrol did a big end bearing at 115000 kms. Up for $16,000 NZD to recondition engine. KIA say unheard of issue in NZ so my bad luck. Kia don't care. My car still in bits after 6 months.

I had something similar. I drove pretty based on engine break, my break pads were good with 8mm at 45k miles but the support on the breaks failed... But I feel somewhat pulsating..

My 16 Sorento has broken the door handles multiple times, engine burns a quart of oil every 1k miles, transmission noises, valve cover gasket dry rotted and several other things. Has been a terrible vehicle
That’s my car it’s was burning oil like crazy and they sent a letter regarding that issue . Now my engine light is on. I had it towed to the dealership and I just hope they fix everything

I've had a 2016 that I purchased in 2015 when it came out. I'm at 236k miles and have had very few problems.
