LOST Season Finales: Rare / Deleted Footage

- There are two versions of every LOST season finale. The first is an 'original' cut that plays as one single double-length episode. This is the version that originally aired on TV. A second version, likely created for TV reruns, has cuts and edits made to create two separate, ‘normal length’ episodes. These changes include the removal of footage, ranging from just a few frames or shots
to deleted lines of dialogue or even full scenes.
All DVD releases of LOST outside of Region 1, as well as most streaming services, only offer the second, shortened versions of the season finales. This means that there is roughly 10 minutes worth of LOST content that many fans might have never seen... This video is here to set things right. Here follows a compilation of all of the removed footage - once lost, but now... well, here!

Also, this is such good work. I wish this had been available when I was writing my dissertation chapter on "Lost" a couple years ago.
I've been meaning to do this for years! Especially when I discovered that the original version of "Through the Looking Glass" is no longer available anywhere, while those files were still on a hard drive at my home just waiting to be used. I couldn't have done this without the hard work of Mister_Reindeer and mmayor114 on Reddit - they listed all of the differences between the two cuts.
If the Netflix version coming out in July is not the version on the Region 1 discs, I will pitch a fit.

Thank you so much for making this!! I’m showing my girlfriend the series for the first time and it’s driving me crazy that the finales are split in two (we just watched Live Together, Die Alone). I can’t believe how much was removed! It’s so cool to have all of this footage archived, thanks to you! :)
