Love this episode and wow loved this insight into your lives and stories. The sound design, the cuts, transitions, and story telling took this over the top guys! Now i know i definitely have to go back to Mexico City!
Hi Chew! We really appreciate your feedback. We're so glad you connected with our stories and the production. It means a lot to us. It's incredibly heartwarming coming from you, knowing you can appreciate the time it takes to make a video like this.
Great episode, loved seeing vlog style video! Booking the trip is only part of the equation…super helpful to see your approaches to time on the ground too. Just like the regular show, it’s also great to see how all of you pick up / care about different things when on vacation. Various perspectives are super helpful. More like this please!
I have been there, loved the food and I stayed in an airbnb. I was there for 4months. Last year for Día de los muertos it was raining..but it was a great time…and loved it!!!
Yes, I would love to join you guys on the next trip. Sorry I had to cancel LA due to a death in the family. Next time, hopefully I will meet you all in person. It looks like a lot of fun!!
Absolutely loved every second of this episode! So glad you all got to experience the magic of points and miles together while celebrating Día de los Muertos. My experience was very similar to Nicole, I stayed at the Hyatt Regency too (those chilaquiles and tequila shots at the Regency Club were chef’s kiss)! But hands down the AMEX Centurion Lounge was my favorite part. My P2 and I also got 30-minute massages, and we thought it’d be a simple chair setup - turns out it was a full-on, private room experience. We were shocked! Sidenote: I had the same hot pocket meal as Serena going home to SFO haha
We're so glad you enjoyed the episode! It sounds like you had an amazing experience at the Hyatt Regency and the AMEX Centurion Lounge! Those massages are heavenly! Did hot pocket or calzone come to mind when you ripped off that foil? 😂
Phenomenal show and insight of Mexico City during Dia De Los Muertos. I haven’t been to Mexico City since I was (5) so I may want to add that back to my bucket list. Love to see half of the team members at a Hilton; however it pains me to tell you that I booked a Grand Hyatt in Korea for a business trip in the not so distant future. Currently traveling to NOLA for a couple of days Can’t wait for the next show.
Hi Carlos! Please give us your review of the Grand Hyatt in Korea after you go. It might end up being better than you think! Safe travels to NOLA and enjoy your week! We have another great episode coming out on Friday.
You guys just keep knockin' it out of the park with each episode!🔥 This one was especially fun seeing the entire Dream Team with your P2s. 🙋🏾I wanna meet up with you all in Asia next year! Miguel, let's talk next week! 😉👍🏾
Hi Phyllis! We truly appreciate your support! It means the world to us that you’re enjoying the episodes. Let’s definitely chat about that Asia meet-up next summer.
I literally just got back from CDMX yesterday! Stayed at the Hilton and scored a master suite upgrade for 6 nights! They're really good with upgrades, except peak Día de los Muertos season. The lounge really was phenomenal and the service was great as well. Mexico City itself has some of the most amazing food I've ever tasted... highly recommend Galanga Thai House.
Wow, sounds like you had an incredible experience in CDMX! Those upgrades really make a difference, don’t they? Galanga Thai House is definitely a great recommendation-We'll have to check it out next time.
What a sweet episode! You guys are so great together. Btw I found it hilarious and crazy how the Hilton gold member gets restaurant breakfast while the diamond member is lounge lol. There’s so many more options in the restaurant! Is it always Diamond members have to have in executive lounge (if there is one)? Or vary by each hotel?
It's SO crazy, right? This definitely varies by property. Sometimes, Diamond members are offered the option of both and they can choose to go to either the lounge or the restaurant. This is the first case we've heard of where the higher status gets an inferior product. 😂. Thank you for watching, Monkey Family!
Yes, isn’t that strange? They offered him the choice of bonus points or breakfast in the restaurant…makes no sense at all! But the restaurant is the place to have breakfast the lounge is the place for afternoon/evening reception…
Thanks for asking. Serena flew Aeromexico. On flights longer than 4 hours they serve a meal. Shorter flights (less than 4) they serve just snacks. Good observation!
Check out our Bonus Points episode on Mexico City which came out a few months ago. It details how we planned this trip and how many points we used to book our flights.
Podcasters AND travel vloggers?? Let’s go!
Let’s go! Where would you pick as our next location?
@ selfishly I would love to see a Europe itinerary booked with points but ill “travel” with you guys wherever you go!
We would love to travel with you too!

Amazing episode. My late wife absolutely LOVED pigs and collected them as stuffed animals. ❤
We truly appreciate you sharing that with us. It's heartwarming to hear how much joy those piggies brought to your wife's life.
Love it!!
Thank you!! Have you been?
@ I haven’t but I thought about how fun it would be to go with our friends - thanks to this video!

I vote for more group trips and group trips that include the P2s. Great content. Keep it coming.
Totally agree! Group trips are the best, and we can’t wait to plan more. Thank you for watching and stay tuned!

Looks like a fun trip! So was Mitch able to eat in the restaurant at the Hilton for free because of Gold status?

@@LetsGetToThePointsthat’s so lame!
Agreed!
I’m curious on what airline Serena was on? It comes with food. 😊

@ Nice! Will keep that in mind.
