It lasts for a maximum of about 5-5.5 hours under normal use case like coding, web surfing with maximum 5 apps open. Under heavy usage, you can get merely 3 hours backup too. Decent tho!
Hi @workwithstyle please reply to my comment. I found out that when I select legion 5i pro and customize it with rtx 4070, i9 14th gen, 32 gb ram and 2k display I get a total of 1.98L. But when I select legion 5i (non pro), with the same specs of 4070, i9 14th gen, 32 gb ram and 2k display, I get a total of 1.64L which is a very huge differece with the same specs. Can u tell the reason behind this or this is a mistake by the company?
This is because of Pro version have better overall board quality & better optimized CPU....& better thermals & overall push....that's why it's called Pro 👍😊

I'm in the same boat, 7i is much better in every way. Only concern is that it's a metal body and might heat up more, despite having better tech. Aur aap india ka weather toh jaante hi hai. So that's confusing.... I'm thinking about going for 7i
@@d33pakkkk I will be going for pro 5i and would also recommend you to Go for pro 5i until and unless you watch more movies, series, etc. , 7i is in slim form factor with similar weight of pro 5i , and due to slim form factor , it will heat up more and eventually throttle more unlike pro 5i , results to give less performance compared to pro 5i (the performance diff can be negligible sometimes but temperatures won't) The only benefit you get for 7i is the better display and per key RGB keyboard

Hmm they can provide....but as screen size is big & close watch on 16 inch oled...I think will be little too much glare & eye strain...normally Oled comes mostly with 14 inch laptop.

Yes you can go with considering this laptop provides little more portability easy to carry....& do all you task on the go.......Its Thermals are optimized for Heavy work.....but not that load....Like working for 7 to 8hrs continuously...without giving it rest..It can handle it but can become little heat up....Rest if you maintain it properly then no issue. 👍
