I will be doing this method of crochet hooking and I won’t be washing my hair for about a half a month to month depending how mature they become since I’m not fully locking it I’m making it loose. But I was wondering do I have to keep my hair dry when I body wash and stuff or can I have them wet cause I have to take a shower everyday for wrestling. Also, if I were to wash my dreads say once every week and a half can I use head and shoulders 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner and that’s it? Plus some like leave in conditioner or what? I’m really new to this but I would love to get a set of dreads so any tips will help

My cousin did my starter locks like a month ago but she made them small in the front and big in the back so I tried to fix it and messed it up so a few days ago I took my hair out and did my own starter locks without a comb and just my hands I must say they look Ok I just don't like how the lock is going in the front.

No hate at all and let me just say, I love Gunther videos. but as a person who has had locs and instant locked one of my dreads, I would not recommend instant locking. it’s cheating the actual maturing process and you’ll even be able to tell when they get long. just my personal opinion

I think his hair is high porosity, if it actually was treated accordingly (making hair hold down moisture instead of letting it frizz) it could reveal itself to be about a 3b?? Just my guess. Anyhow it's Spike Spiegel hair. Very cool.
