I've been growing my hair out since I went to remission after battling with my cancer diagnosis bout 3 years ago,I had a mullet originally, then I decided I'm growing it out. My maternal grandmother might not like it at first same goes to my older biological half sister, I told them this" I'm sorry if you don't like the way how I look or what my hair is like, but this is my life,i like it that way." Even now,I can just ignore the negative things and stereotypes bout what others think. I don't care if people like it or not, but that's their personalized opinion and beliefs.
This dude is chill as can be. I am growing out my hair since end of May. Cut it very short basically my entire life. Had no idea i had curly hair as it was pretty straight when i was a kid. Digging it. Want lil over shoulder length I think. Keeping the length open but I want to go at last past shoulders. Nice having someone who just tells it like it is, the good, bad, etc......
Love your originality and comfort in your own skin and just doing "you"! You are following your own style as God created you to do! This is so encouraging to others to value their personal choices and keep moving toward the goal. Love the jewelry and your beautiful hair! Oh, and I love that shirt!! Proud of you!
For sure don’t commit to time. Set a length and style goal. I set out for a year, which I just hit. My hair grows really fast and is longer than most guys at a full year. I am not at a point where I am deciding if I want to keep going or go back a few months length where it looked good.

Negative comments is hard. My family treats me different when I don’t have a hair cut
