So, much excitement I can't wait to get my first "Fiber paradise revolution complete" spinning wheel. Good for you lady enjoy for years to come thank you.
Thank you for this video, I just received my super jumbo espinner from Ashford, and it’s my first spinning experience ever. I had no idea where to start especially with starting the leader but this helped, I’m so nervous I haven’t even opened my box yet 😂 there aren’t many videos out there telling you how to begin spinning
Thanks Karen, I'm actually working on a follow-up right now! Is there any specific information you are interested in? I can try do my best to look into it for you ;)
@@EleventyOneWindmills that would be great, really I just want to know how you are getting on, my interest is really spinning fairly fine yarn to knit up close to the Shetland jumper weight yarns.
Hi Brigette, I've noticed mine is pretty tight too... I've been reading up about cross-lacing my flyer to slow the uptake, but I haven't tried it yet. I'll give it a go soon xox
@@gailstringer1158 I’m better now. I oiled everything really well turned down the tension and go slow Don’t let the yarn go into the bobbin till I get the twist. Oil oil oil. And turned the power down. Good luck.
@@Gigiknittingandmore Thanks, Brigette - I finally got real yarn onto the bobbin yesterday! It won't win any awards, and I know I'll need to keep practicing to make yarn that I like as much as my supported spindle yarn, but I'm relieved that it's not breaking now!

Loved this
Do you have any tips or tricks for lessening the bobbin noise? Mine rattles quite loud on the shaft.
Could you not spit splice the 3 nano bobbins together as you wind them on the Knitty noddy ??
Thanks for this video, Lisa! I never considered an e-spinner before, and I really appreciate your thoughts on this one ❤️
Thanks so much Viv!! I had to pick an espinner to start with because of size and budget constraints... Now I'm just hooked on it 😁💙
Thank you for this please consider an update after you have used it for a while, I am considering buying one

I bought myself the Ashford E Spinner for Christmas! Unboxed it yesterday & so thank you for your video!!
I'm having the same problem getting the tension right, so that the take-up and twist create yarn, instead of broken bits of fluff!
