  • We weren't planning on filming this trip because we were having too good of a time to get the main camera out of its bag, however I've strung together the videos we managed to film on the phones.
Was an epic trip and the tracks just kept getting better and better towards the end.
    We drove
    Commando trail,
    Rocky trail,
    Army trail,
    Morbid trail,
    Jeep track,
    The steps,
    Widows hill,
    Carnage trail,
    and more....

Hey lads, looks like some great trails. What impressed me was that among the great lines you picked, was also the willingness to just bust out the winch when it got obvious that things were a bit more than the cars were built for. I see a lot of guys who have fifty goes at an obstacle and dial numbers left right and centre trying to drive it at all costs. It breaks cars and it damages trails. Nothing wrong with a bit of good winching.

Was a really good trip, super keen to get back there. One of the goals was to find some tracks difficult enough to need winches.
      Absolutely love it !!

Verry cool and difficult trails! The Lux handle them very well! I would love to have trails like this for my Sammy but in my country i found only 1:10 Scale Trails like yours for my RC Hilux to crawl ha ha!

Can’t wait to get back down that way and explore more of the area, it’s about a 5 hour drive from where I live. We typically take our 1/10th Rc crawlers too! There heaps of fun and cheaper to fix then the real deal 🤣

Awesome stuff man, I wonder if going with 33’s might help with a bit more power to the ground… always chasing power I guess ahahah. As always awesome video Brother 🤙

It definitely makes a difference between 33’s and 35’s
Was tempted to run the 33’s for the trip, would have been easier for the run there and back

There’s a couple of options to reduce the unsprung weight of the wheel/tyre combo.
      33” - 255/85R16 or 255/80R17
      34-35” - 255/85R17 or 35x10.50R17

@@ianparsons8894 I like the idea of having a heavy tyre and rim. Helps keep the shiny side upright. I’ll eventually swap the motor for something that can rev past 4,000rpm 😅

Drove it on a beach down in Coffs Harbour a few trips back. Pretty high tide so we where up in the soft stuff. It was terrible, didn’t get stuck as it didn’t dig down but it was just too soft for high range and low range was painful in 4th
