- Welcome back for another Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon Season 2 update video. In this video, I will be talking about the new leaked scenes and photos from House of the Dragon's second season. Earlier today, a bunch of new photos appeared on Reddit and Facebook. In this photos, we can see several new scenes from the upcoming season. These scenes depict Jaehaerys Targaryen's funeral procession through the streets of King's Landing. This will be the result of the infamous Blood and Cheese scene from George R.R. Martin's Fire and Blood. The official release date for House of the Dragon Season 2 will be the summer of 2024, on HBO and HBO Max. Make sure you subscribe and stay tuned for more details. Thank you!

best part of season 1 was that brief Daemon/Aemond stand off, great set up and foreshadowing. No fkn way they mess up their 1v1

Ok, so the "leaked scenes" ended up just being a couple of photos of some carts.
Yes but they give us an indication of what to expect in season 2. Jaehaerys funeral and the aftermath of the battle of rooks rest we can expect to happen next season.
So excited to see how this season is portrayed visually, but also sad because of how many dragons die :(
At least we will see how the dragons went extinct in the first place. Why the Targaryens lost their seat and power too.
@@Coolguy-tr1otdragons most likely were killed by the maesters. Theres no evidence that being “cooped in the dragon pit” had any real effect on their wellbeing, but after the dance the babies all came out stunted and disfigured, almost like they were poisoned/sabotaged

I finally know how book fans felt watching Game of Thrones, I didnt start reading the books til the Red Wedding scene because I couldnt handle being blindsided like that and I needed to know more from the chatacrers povs.
This time with HotD, I feel sick knowing everything that's coming 😂 im so excited for people to watch it just because its an amazing story but it still feels like leading lambs to slaughter 😂

Helaena was already portrayed as a bit odd, I liked how she clearly was having prophetic dreams even as a baby,and no one understands her…
With that said, THIS particular event will make or break the actress due to the amount of stress the character will be under. I want to see Helaena’s complete break, her mind and soul crushed.

I feel sorry for her. I feel that she has tried to warn her family about the dangers of their ambition and meddling with the succession (in her own way), but no one has taken a blind bit of notice of her.
Sadly, she will pay the highest price for her family's actions despite being innocent. Her family have ignored her yet she has been proved right about everything so far.

It will be sad, but killing those dragons was definitely in the common people's best interests.
The writers make the shows. They deserve adequate pay and benefits commensurate with their major contributions. How many times have you seen great actors, with a bad script. It's terribly frustrating. They really need to step up and pay for the quality that we demand.
AI will soon render these so called "writers" obsolete. I just wish they'd stick to writing and leave the "activism" for their off time. Nothing but twisted reboots and swapping characters doesn't make them writers, it makes them untalented plagiarists.

Gotta say I'm looking forward to blood and cheese but I'm curious how they are going to handle the details of it. I'm also looking forward to aegon demoting ser auto from hand of the king.
I just hope that Rhaenys gets the most screen time in season 2 she deserves it and well we know Meleys manages to f*ck up sunfyre and aegon too so they better do them both justice… also episode 1 should hopefully show a lot of Helena and her kids relationship and even aegon and his kids too, maybe lol…
Exactly! If we don’t have any character building with Aegon & Helaena’s kids, Blood & Cheese won’t have as big an impact.
Funny enough I seen a tv show advertised the other day. Not sure what it was but the actor who plays her was in it, so I’m assuming she dies within the first 3 or 4 episodes.

The x3 dragon fight in which Rhaenys & Meleys takes on Vhaegar/Aemon & Sunfyre/Aegon will be the set piece of the season for me. Rhaenys is by far the most interesting character in the show, it'll be a shame when she's gone. I hope they do her justice and she gets to disable Aemon & Sunfyre and she goes down in a blaze of glory. The 'Egg' scene will be typical GOT creepy nastiness.(Think of Ramsay Bolton).

I’m hoping the wagon holds Luc’s dragon. I’m not ready for Meles. It would speed things up too fast. Besides, Rhynes is my favorite in the show. And Grandma Meles is fierce.

Also, that covered wagon didn’t look big enough to hold Meleys’ head, lol… that looked a little smaller. I just don’t want anything to happen to the two of them. But, yes… hers is the one that was drawn through the city by cart. It is known. The small folk will be happy about it too, no doubt, seeing as Rhaenys and The Red Queen accidentally killed a bunch of common folk during Aegon’s coronation.

I’ve had a suspicion since episodes 9 & 10 of season 1 that the show would “change” the blood & cheese story as it was narrated to not involve Daemon at all but rather be Mysaria acting of her own volition. I’ve thought this #1 because we found out that pretty much after episode 4, Daemon has had no contact w/ Mysaria unlike the continued affair he supposedly had w/ her in the book. #2 we find out in episode 8 that Daemon & Rhaenyra have not been in Kings Landing & in episode 10 Daemon even says only some of the Nights Watch are still loyal to him (he’s not even sure the exact #) so it definitely sounded like he has very few contacts in Kings Landing currently. #3 and the biggest in my opinion is Mysaria specifically goes to Otto in episode 9 to speak w/ him about the child fights & tells him that she’ll back them if they stop the crap going on w/ the children in Kings Landing. What does she get instead? Attempted murder & her house burned down by Creepy Strong-Alicent-Otto. So, in my opinion, it would make sense considering what has taken place on the show (NOT what we believe from the books) that Mysaria would be ruthless enough to plan out & execute blood & cheese as revenge for not protecting the children like she asked & retaliation for trying to kill her in episode 9….especially if someone’s kids were killed in that fire which is a possibility considering both her previous & current occupation. It wouldn’t surprise me to find out she was offering shelter to some women & their bastard children if she’d saved them from the streets or the even the fights. Or she could’ve just had friends staying w/ her who had children. Just something to chew on & something I’ve been highly suspicious of since season 1 ended. I just don’t think blood & cheese went down exactly the way it was told in the book. We saw this happen time & time again w/ season 1. I mean, just look at Daemon’s character so far….he was never unfaithful to Laena & at least so far he’s been faithful to Rhaenyra. Nothing at all like he’s written in the book. Idk…I just find it so interesting to follow how they end up telling the “true” story as it actually unfolds in the show & compare it to how it was written in the “histories” from others’ perspectives.
You might be right… I never considered this possibility. It will definitely be interesting to see how it all pans out. Especially with Martin being involved with the production of this show, and a showrunner who seems to truly care about the material. They may have more than a few surprises in store for us!!

Curious, Why is it that the dragon that burns and eats Rhaenyra is wounded yet it follows the orders of Aegon II yet the one dragon that Rhaenyra's son has, which is unharmed decides to gurn on the boy and let him fall out the air to his death? That's a bit confusing, Cause if anything the wounded dragon should be the one fleeing from the city.
Joffrey was flying Syrax who was not bonded to him. Joffrey had his own dragon and Rhanerya was bound to Syrax. Aegon commanded his dragon who he was bonded with to kill Rhanerya.
if you are talking about Joffrey, he was riding Syrax (his mother's dragon), not his own dragon Tyraxes. As you know dragons won't accept anyone but their rider.
Oh boy, the only thing I'm dreading in the whole series is the controversial and horrifying Blood & Cheese incident. It's one thing to read about it in a book and another to watch it on TV. I suspect that since we're dealing with another Red Wedding here or worse people will inevitably complain about the depiction of brutality and violence against children. It's gonna be a hot topic for discussion for sure, just wait and see!

someone did the math to figure out how much he's written and when: he pretty much wrote nothing until he got stuck in quarantine, all of those "I'm 1/3rd of the way through!" comments before were referring to 200-300 pages of leftover material from aDwD. He literally needed to be locked in a house and be cut off from the world to do, like, 500 pages and hasn't done anything since, I wouldn't hold your breath, dude.
I dread losing the Queen that Never Was. Eve Best is rocking the character as well as Steve Toussaint's Corlys Velaryon. What has made House of the Dragon is not just it's facking Westeros. It's the acting and too a lesser but no less significant degree, the writing.
From subtle glances by Daemon and Aemond foreshadowing their own "dance", to the pleading to Vhagar for death by Laena Velaryon.. Let's just hope that the great source material's outline can be written and the acted as well as we had so far. There's ALOT of emotional angst that could, if both written and acted well, translate into stories as powerful as anything we've seen in the Game of Thrones but in all TV. IMHO.
Phia Saban who plays heleana targeryen needs to bring the acting heat for blood and cheese to make it work.

Well, people were excited in season 1 when they saw Daemon interact with Vermithor, they thought he could be the dragon to take down Vhaegar. Alas, Vermithor's rider Hugh Hammer changed his allegiance in favor of Aegon and the Greens. This is why recruiting Vermithor was by no means a victory for Daemon and the Blacks.

5:01 but the blacks coulve won the war at the battle of rooks rest. the blacks didnt come to help with their dragons because they knew it was a trap and only rhaenys went, where she was outnumbered by aegon and aemond, but the blacks couldve waited till those two attacked rhaenys and then send all their available dragons to attack them. Making a trap inside a trap kind of way, killing aegon and aemond and their dragons, leaving the greens without king, prince or drangons 👀
it hurts to watch when dragons die, but we all know most of them will perish... the book is full of death.
