TBH I'm worried they're not going to have Daeron in the show.

If they don’t then they’re in a bit of a pickle regarding the death of Vermithor and Seasmoke and the later half of the plot. But why include most side characters and completely erase Daeron and Tessarion? Budget? Nah, they even made sure we saw Seasmoke at the war in the stepstones during season 1 when we didn’t need to, we didn’t need to see Vermithor and Dreamfyre in the caves or Meleys in the dragonpit. They could easily included Tessarion. So why wouldn’t they? It would be mindless not to include them both. In the teaser we see Hightower soldiers on the March, not High-Targ soldiers, actual Hightower soldiers with the green flame instead of the gold dragon. If the Hightower army is leaving Oldtown then surely we’d see Daeron.

Oh and they’re also including Tyraxes, Stormcloud and Moondancer early when they don’t need to so they better include Tessarion.

Daeron is not cut, he will be a big part from season 3. Season 2 might reference to him, there is no need to have his storyline in season 2 since they won';t be even going near the Gullet in this season. And there is no pacing concern, they are gonna take time with events which is exactly what they should do. That is why the Gullet is in season 3.

From what I've read George and Ryan Condal mapped out the rest of the series, which should run a total of 4 seasons. They decided that after the events of the first 8 episodes it was the best cutoff point for the remainder of the series. Personally I wish, like you, they'd had the 10 and just filled out the story more in the additional 2, they don't need to move onto other events to do 10 episodes. Game of Thrones early seasons had a number of character building episodes.

because there is a structure to it that you do not understand.
