You two are about to roll up on 1.5 M subscribers. I remember when the two of you were so excited when you were about to reach 5 thousand subscribers. How far you've come. What a beautiful family you've made, and such a beautiful home you've built. I'm so proud and happy for all of you.
This couple and their family are delightfully refreshing, unapologetic for living life “their way” and a healthy example of relationship with “grace and love” as they navigate day-to-day life. Oh, yeah- and they’re just a joy to watch.
My thoughts as well. Did this with my daughters bed it as Spencer has done but was shocked at the state the underside of the mattress became covered in mildew, the mattress was amemory foam type and needed air circulation underneath it.
Wore just about to write that.. it would be just safer to add a layer of fabric to catch falling stuff.. I've seen vanlifers having the same problem with mold..
Yep,I have built 3-4 beds,,found out the hard way you must put many breather holes in plywood otherwise the moisture will result in mold /mildew...do it now ...
And put a plastic bag in a bucket filled with hot water (first put the water in, then the plastic bag over it) you can put the cartridge in the plastic bag, so it will not get wet, but it will stay warm.
I would drill a few more of those big holes in the bed ply to help the mattress breath and prevent mould, if you are still worried about stuff falling in, staple some cloth over the holes from the underside
You can add a nice big lidded basket to the bottom of your two nightstands for extra storage. It's especially good for diapers, wipes, etc. because you can just grab the whole thing and move it around the house.
Gosh! I think you need to add a master bedroom and bathroom to your existing home with a huge closet, probably two or three!. Oh my! You really need more room.Your home is so beautiful too!
I so much love your videos and always hate the ending. I love watching your family grow. Hearing Cam say he was going to start working is so cute. He’s doing his best to emulate daddy. He has a good example. Both of the children are growing so much. May God continue to bless each and everyone of you! Thank you for all you do for us.
You are gonna need ventilation between the mattres and the plywood sheet, or you are going to have mold pretty fast. Usually you need to drill a bunch of holes in the plywood sheet, but that defeats the purpose of keeping dirt out. I would put the plywood sheets under the slats and see how that goes. I have made several beds with plywood sheets and learned the hard way how much ventilation is needed.
You guys are great.I love watching your kids grow up.We don't get to see our grandkids, and our dog passed away,so it is very wonderful to see you all together!

Anne and I have enjoyed your show since the beginning. It’s our heartfelt belief that you are doing well. It’s been 14 days , don’t push it if you’re reading this and are giving birth. 😅 good luck .
Hi Guys. I love your work and togetherness. It's fun to watch. A word of caution from personal experience about putting the plywood over the slats. We purchased a new mattress and then did what Spencer has just done with plywood. In our case the bottom of the mattress became damp We dried it in natural sunlight. Problem solved? No unfortunately. It became damp fairly quickly and then moldy and smelly. We bought a new mattress and took the plywood out and no issues over the past 4 years. We did lay an old wool blanket down as a cushion and it works really well. Best wishes for your family and the new babe.
When I was a mobile engineer, I used to keep a supply of silicone, resin etc on the dashboard of my van during the winter months, because it was the only way to ensure i'd have some useable product when I needed it, everything in the back of the van where there was no heat was unusable when it was cold.
You’re doing a great job! Take your time and do what’s best for you and your family! Congratulations on your next family member! We all will continue to watch and wish you the best.
For more storage, build shelves or cabinets up either side of your bed instead of having just night stands! In the living room, switch out cabinet under TV for a bigger one! We’ve had to get creative with storage
You can use the space of the nightstands to build two cabinets with shelves. Also you can put a cabinets over the window. RV style so you can have more storages for you and the new baby
I can't tell you how happy I am to see the knob and deadbolt in the 'cabin' door. During the long build of the main house, the entry door having holes for weeks (months?) on end triggered my OCD something awful.
I had to laugh out loud listening to the kids. You 4,soon to be 5, are a bright spot for me to watch. You have overcome so many obstacles without giving up. Love your little family, you shine with love for one another 😍🫶🥰👌♥️♥️♥️♥️
You need a bed that lifts & has storage underneath.. or add holes to the plywood…I’m not sure how well you’ll sleep but at least you’d avoid mold. love all that you guys do
Rain-X makes a windshield washer fluid that you can spray on your solar panels to mitigate ice buildup. Considering your space constraints, why not add an additional layer of drawers under your bed. Our mattress frame is 40” off the floor with a dozen drawers underneath. Wishing you a warm weekend. Cheers
@catgynt9148 I raised mine up also, so I now have 6 drawers that I can use as my bedside has to be against a wall. The RainX sounds like a really good idea. I'll have to try that when I get my system up and running. Central Minnesota here!

9:59 hi guys! Love your videos. Hey I just wanted to chime in here to save you both a bit of grief down the road with your mattress. There is a reason why mattresses are placed over slats and not a smooth surface. It’s to allow the mattress to breathe. If you place the mattress on a smooth surface it will not be able to breathe properly and will begin retaining moisture, resulting in the formation of mold and mildew. What I’d suggest is cutting up the plywood and using it as lift-up covers for each draw. Keep that mattress breathing my friends! And keep on making these beautiful videos ❤

Here’s my favorite peeps!😮❤🎉🎉🎉🎉 McKenzie you are all baby! Why not add some shelves on the wall? Or rather make some cabinets throughout the house high up so you don’t really notice it. Yep I live about 30 minutes from where y’all used to live. I live in Cape Coral Florida.!! McKenzie take good care of yourself!! We all care about you and your family! I love seeing your tummy. You look so cute!!! You are such a beautiful young woman!
Stay warm!! I'm ready for summer. I'm so over winter!! ☀️ 😮💨 We had snow falling when I first started watching. In my part of TX, we have a cold front that's made it in for the weekend! Ugh!!
Whatchall gonna name that boy?? 😅😊
OMG That is the cutest little roller coaster, i've never seen one of those...and of course your baby boy is beyond adorable!! Your whole family is SO precious! You are restoring my belief of kind, happy, healthy(mentally) and good people still being in this world! Thank you!
I have watched you two from right after you started. I was searching for of grid living. I have learned so much from watching.
I have enjoyed watching all you have accomplished.
Hi guys, the little ones are growing up so fast. Sorry you don't like the cold. I cooler weather any day over the heat.
God bless you guys, and may his grace be upon you all.🌞🤗
I hope you guys are okay. I've been checking youtube everyday if you have new content already.
Praying for healthy baby and mommy! Can’t wait to meet her/him?
Nice to see you look ahead to things being done. So nice to use your space for the baby coming soon. Cabin is looking so good. Love watching how you do everything.
My goodness. I sure do love watching this lil family grow ❤ withh all the ups & downs its always wonderful to hear Kenzie and the kiddos laugh or giggle. Also preparing is key to having enough room for a new baby so quick ❤ looks like he's going to be building some shelves to help for storing.
Have you ever thought of doing an addition, because the space is getting smaller!😊
The cabin can be their "addition"...the kids could have the cabin for a few years! Put off camping for a few years until the housing situation is solved. You will be having four kids lickity split! 😅
@@patrickrussell1888 honestly, as a mother I’ll never let my kids to live separate from the house in another house, the only way is that it can be attached to the main house/
💖 great video y'all have a blessed and wonderful day and week ahead.... I really can't wait to meet the newest member of the family 🩵🩷
I remember when you found out you were pregnant with Beau that's when I was first started watching y'all this going to be some great family memories when the kids get older and they are able to watch all of the family videos of love & laughter up on the TV.....hugs to Beau & Cam
So happy for you that the baby is almost here!!!!👶 try some dry rid under your bed or something like it may help it has worked for me.
Next project... an addition to the house for the new baby. It will be interesting to see how you design that .
